Betzy manages a lovely, laid back, spotless seaside villa. It is quiet. Our room, the Cameron, had a full kitchen, two large queen beds, a/c, fan. It did not have windows that looked out on the sea but there are rooms that do. There is a white board that tells you what dive boat you are on, the following day. Usually posted at 8pm. (If you are using Aldora DIvers) Early am, enjoy your coffee on the palapa, Moira, the resident beagle will greet you, and the boat will pick you up. There are 3 resturants within walking distance, The cab is $7 USD to central square. There are bicycles which I used to bike 3 miles to the MEGA store that has everything, groceries, clothing, sundries, and the bike has a basket on it, too.
There is daily housekeeping, plenty of towels, coffee for the coffee pot and a large purified water jug, in the room. A rinse tank, hangars for drying gear, and an infinity pool. Bonus is some decent snorkelling right from the shore ladder.
Rodrigo, delivered a cheap rent a car to us. The floors are tile, so take caution when you are dripping. Common to humid climates are the teeny tiny almost invisible ants, we kept everything in the fridge to discourage them. Cozumel has an antiquated sewer system. Human waste is all that flushes in the toilets, everything else goes in the trash.
