Best Hotel to stay at Bacalar! The staff is so nice and helpful. The restaurant has great food! Gourmet Food! I recommend the cheese enfrijoladas, they are delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. Visit Bacalar! You will not regret it! We had the superior lagoon bedroom which included a private deck and an outside jacuzzi, this is the best bedroom!

Service is extremely attentive and friendly. Room wasn't particularly clean as we found a pair of sandals and empty water bottles under the sofas left behind by previous guests in the cabin we stayed in. Food in the restaurant is nothing special. Very mediocre. The location and the grounds are amazing though. Internet is poor and was no service in our room.

Great hotel by the lagoon, stayed at one of the rooms with the private dock and it was amazing. Took the Bacalar lagoon tour with Santos and it was awesome. The food on the restaurant was on point for breaksfast and dinner. Will definitely recommend and would come back

I had only seen pictures from inside the rooms, the restaurant and the dock and didn’t realize the hut type setup of all the rooms but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The restaurant staff was awesome, especially Itzel. She really works her behind off. Breakfast each morning on the lagoon was almost magical. That sunrise off the deck really is magical. I’ve recommended this place to family and friends already.

We had an awesome stay at Rancho Encantado.
The receptionist Gilberto and Josmar were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in earlier to get situated and enjoy our day at the resort.
My husband and I traveled to Bacalar in celebration of our honeymoon. They offered us the “casita” in front of the lagoon. It was more than perfect for us, remodeled, clean, and quiet.
We went in the month of June and unfortunately was cloudy and raining.
The restaurant had good service, breakfast was included in our stay. Dinner prices were reasonable.
Downtown Bacalar is about 10 mins away from Rancho Encantado. The entrance is big too clear when driving on the road, be careful you don’t miss it.
We will definitely be visiting Bacalar soon again and will be status by at Rancho Encantado.
