Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, just needed to take a break and the hotel was very affordable.
The Hotel manager was also very welcoming and warm.
When I booked the hotel I wasn’t looking for spectacular and I was very happy with my stay for what it’s worth.
The hotel is also in “walking” distance from the small fishing town of Oistines …which is a plus if you want to experience a true feeling of Barbados
And I was told I had just missed their Oistine fish festival which is held every Easter Weekend
I will however say there has also been a few take away from the hotel that I think management needs to work on or simply look into.
I had a late check in, (7/730pm) and when I got there I was treated with a dimmed lobby and had to call out for reception to come out of a back room to attend to me, also after checking in I was pointed in the direction of my room…which I had to find myself
There were small ants in my room/ kitchen areas but I wasn’t really bothered seeing I wasn’t planning on using the kitchen area
The breakfast was depressing; it had a small selection and as a picky eater that made it even more difficult.
But the sausages were amazing
The staff in my opinion are very laid back, and there is no rush to do anything, and I feel at times you had to constantly check on them to ensure your requests are being processed
Even though I dined at the hotel restaurant for my entire stay there, I was only offered water once, I had to ask about specials, there was no hostess to greet me and I had to wave down a staff in order to get assistance, asking for a glass of ice took 10 minutes to get, which I ended up going for myself
My overall experience at the hotel was fine, because I simply wanted a space where I can unwind.
I will somewhat recommend
