We were in the Selena beach hotel for 10 days and we had great time! Very comfortable hotel with good service beautiful facilities and good service. Great dance parties as wel! Thank you very much for great holidays!

Review of Selene Beach & Spa Hotel

Firstly, don’t be put off when reading reviews saying that this is a German hotel. Most hotels (historically) are German in Turkey.
The only things German are the food selection (casseroles etc) and the language most of the Turkish staff speak.
However, all of the staff tried their best with English, most of them have a good grasp, but at the end of the day it’s up to holidaymakers to make an effort if they’re visiting a foreign country, don’t be arrogant and rude by expecting people to speak your language.
There’s lots of attractions nearby, all of which are a very cheap taxi away but why bother if you’re staying in a 5 star “ultra” hotel with its own beach, spacious pool and beds areas (yes more than one area).
Spa is absolute luxury. If you go up, Take their offer of a 15 minute free massage. You’ll soon realise that their “All week” package is very reasonable in price, heaven in practice.
The hotel management are always available and approachable and just outside is a sprawling marketplace with every tourist thing you’ll need.
All in all, worth way more than me and a colleague paid.

The hotel is beautiful it looks like a 5 star hotel. People in the neighborhood very nice aswel. De service and the food is a little les. But they have a beautiful beach and pool. And fun activities..

This Ultra All inclusive Spa Hotel is on a different level to any I have experienced before. You are so we'll catered for and the service is always first class. The team work so well and everyone is so polite and professional. There's an excellent range of food and beverage options and the layout works so well and the decor is fantastic. The Spa is next level where the Masseuses are from Indonesia ( Bali ) and are incredibly gifted. The Haman is a must if you visit Turkey. A beautiful rooftop pool and access comes with your Spa treatment. This gives you amazing views of the beach and surrounding area. The hotel has a great gym, is only 6 floors high, has 2 bars, a great restaurant, a beautiful pool, vip lounge, excellent housekeeping and the entertainment is so professional and well taught out and, there is something on almost every night, either live music or club music. The hotel can assist with any trips/excursions etc. It's all made so easy. The value for money you get is incredible and I honestly can't find fault in this Hotel. I couldn't recommend it more.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Spent a week here in April. The hotel is adults only, well appointed, modern and close to the sea. The pool area is fabulous and you cannot fault the cleanliness of the place. Plus, all of the staff were super friendly and polite.
On arrival we were provided with a drink from the bar and then asked if we wished to upgrade our room to a sea view (ten euros per night). It was late and we went for it. I don't think we gained anything by doing it to be honest. Whilst the room was clean, tidy, had a fridge, kettle etc. The floor was showing signs of wear and tear, with some of the laminate lifting.
I've stayed in lots of hotels and this doesn't make it into the category of five star for me.
It's easier to list the likes/dislikes.

Staff are helpful and friendly
Pool always spotless
The spa is excellent and a must visit
WiFi first class
Dislikes
All inclusive only applies on local drinks, hefty mark up if you want anything else
Snacks are only available at certain times
Distance from Alanya (cost up to €25 one way) haggle!!
Entertainment was good but far too loud at night (in fairness it ends at around 2330hrs)
Food repetitive, for example, chicken, rice and chips every evening
Fruit selection at meal times could be improved massively
Service at the pool is normal for a five star hotel, this doesn't happen
Table service in the restaurant, hit and miss
Twin beds pushed together does not make a double bed
Suggestions
Some water sports stuff at the beach to hire out
Get some double beds
Do something about noisy guests who gather around the pool in the early hours
Room tip: Get a sea-view by all means but be prepared for the noise
