We're staying in Cordoba for 3 nights next month (giving us 2.5 days to get to know the city). I've done my research on places to visit and we're looking forward to just taking our time wandering the streets as well as visiting the Mezquita, the Alcazar, the Calahorra Tower and Palacio Viana. Alas, I have hit a wall when it comes to targetting nice places to experience Andalucian cuisine - most nice restaurants do not open till 8:00 pm! We're in our 60s and are used to eating quite early to allow for digestion etc before bedtime. In all our travels in Europe we love our post-dinner walks (love the Italian passegiata!) before tucking in for the night. Ideally we have dinner (& drinks) starting at 6:30 pm, walk around afterwards for an hour while indulging on a gelato or pastry, then back to our hotel for a soothing bedtime cuppa. My question is: Are there any good eating venues open early from 6:30 in Cordoba? Would love to hear about tapas bars, taverns and mum-&-dad restaurants. We'll be staying at NH Amistad but happy to check out places within post-dinner walking distance. Thank you so much for any suggestion.
