This is a classic Hole in the Wall bar and seafood place. I went several times, had squid once and mussels prepared a couple different ways. It is a stand up bar with quick service and very reasonable prices. Loved it!

During the whole time, the waiter was not friendly and he was urging us to leave after finishing our dishes. Food was OK but expensive.

If you want a great cheap eat and have good attention sharing a drink with locals in the city centre this is the place. The price is amazing for a seafood sandwich and a beer. Definitely worth it.

Very simple menu: Mussels, squid and potatoes - well and drinks. How can you beat mussels this tasty and this simple accompanied with patatas bravas - in an crowded bar - lots of noice and yelling. Beer, mussels, potatoes and happiness. You have to try it to understand - and leave your napkins on the floor.

This place deserves a lot of attention. I have been there twice and both times I was not disappointed. You can order different types of mussels. I tried the 'Marinera' and the 'Vinaigrette' with a big portion of patatas braves and beer of course - very yummy, and very reasonable prices. Do not miss this place if you are in Pamplona!

Can't beat the mussels here - reasonably priced and very tasty and worth a diversion. Expect it to be busy at times in fiesta but be patient. Also, enjoy the decorative tiles on the wall that tell you how mussels are farmed.

This is a takeaway, the sort of joint you head in, get your plate or bag of food, a beer and head out to the streets to enjoy. Normally in the UK it's greasy disgusting kebabs that get this sort of treatment, but here in Pamplona, where the locals appreciate good food, it's fried squid and patatas bravas, with aioli and salsa picante.
They don't do much here in terms of variety. You can have fried squid on its own, slathered with aioli and / or chilli sauce, or in a bocadillo. It's fresh, crisp, and perfectly fried either way. Then you have patatas bravas, which is just chips really, again, slathered with aioli and / or chilli sauce. You get as many of each as you want, grab a drink - I recommend beer - and either budge up against the counter or head out and lean against the fountain outside.
The restaurant is located in a gathering place of sorts for Pamplona's young and merry, and is heaving on Thursday and Friday nights. Recommended.

Been to the same place in San Sebastián and I prefer this one only because we were with the loud and fun crowd of the runners...love the calamares and the braves paired with that weird drink of coke and red wine (could not pronounce the drink at all)

Bar specialized in mussels, in the old area of Pamplona.
I ordered mussels a la marinera, and some wild squid.
The mussels were good, but the squid had too much mayonnaise and lacked brava sauce.
It wasn't bad
