Warm and friendly restaurant, with a southamerican touch. Very attentive and personal service. I ordered the ribeye, and it was amazing, perfectly made, large, juicy (very!), and tender. A real treat. They really know their meat. Just to bad they were closed the next day (Sunday) because it was my last day in Barcelona.

We were a family of four staying close by who decided to try Mi Gracia. We arrived early so got a table without a reservation. Great food and friendly staff who spoke good English. Highly recommended.

This was wonderful respite from the crazy downtown and Ramblas. We loved the octopus and empanadas -- not to be missed. Great beef..lomo. Cool neighborhood. But the service was the best part! Don't miss this little gem.

This was one of the best restaurants I ate at during a month in Barcelona -- but it is mostly for meat eaters. I had a humongous veal neapolitan with beautifully balanced thin layers of mozzarella, tomato sauce and ham over a delicious veal. The steaks looked even better. The service was excellent. An Argentinian couple run the restaurant and the wife was our waitress. She was so nice and informative. Really delicious place.

The veal was good, but the sirloin steak was better. Good wine, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff. All in all..an excellent experience!

We came to this place in order to eat real Argentine meat, especially Lomo, the Argentine fillet. Were very disappointed also as the main dished were average in their taste and the price was much above what we got there.

We found this “small” restaurant while visiting Barcelona during neighborhood festivals and were pleasantly surprised as the food and overall experience were excellent. The restaurant was just the ticket: intimate and cozy and the owners VERY pleasant. The menu as you might imagine is somewhat limited, but nicely prepared. Two of us had the Solomillo (sirloin with chimichurri sauce) which was excellent and cooked to perfection. Another in our party had the Veal Milanesa de ternera napolitana which he said was over the top delicious. We tried their house vino tinto and some interesting local beers that were recommended. One of our favorite restaurants in Barcelona on this trip and would return in a heardbeat next time we are in Barcelona.

My wife & I walked into this place on a Saturday night without a reservation hoping to have dinner here. We were squeezed in by the nice man who greeted us when we walked in and then promptly seated. Our waitress(didn’t catch her name) was AWESOME from start to finish. My wife & I don’t speak very good Spanish but our server spoke good enough English so that there were no issues whatsoever in ordering our food & drinks. My wife & I both ordered steaks, which were both very good, as well as a couple of mixed drinks (Gin & Tonic, Mojito), both were excellent! I would go back to this restaurant for sure if I were a Barcelona local!!

My husband and I came here on our last night in Barcelona and we are so grateful we did! We walked in just in time as they were full with reservations but we were able to sit us at their bar-top table. (They turned away many other customers through the night because they were at capacity) From the moment you walk in Lalo & Laura make you feel completely welcomed and at home. We almost finished an entire bottle of wine before we ordered and they let us go at our own pace. They had a singer with a beautiful voice in the background singing classic soulful songs which helped add to the already romantic ambiance. We tasted much of the menu and still couldn’t pick our favorite as it was all fresh & so tasty. We ordered the octopus & salmon tartar starters with their house salad & a steak for dinner ending with a yummy chocolate salted dessert. Nothing disappointed through the meal. We hope to return on our next visit & make reservations!

This place has it all: great Argentinean food mixed with local tastes, great wines from Mendoza, and a very warm and nicely decorated place. The owners are a lovely couple from Argentina and are quick, funny and very warm in their approach to make your evening wonderful. Great for meat, but also lot´s of other, vegetarian dishes. Thanks a lot Mi Gracia!

This restaurant touched our hearts, and palates with delicious tapas, and wine. The owner Lalo came over and met with us as if he were family. He is Argentinian but has Italian parents so was very expressive and so proud to serve and share his passion for food and people! He recommended a dark beer for my boyfriend (they had a very wide selection of specialty beers) that was incredible. It was a limited edition beer called Blue Blood that only exists in 1000 cases! I had a glass of red from Mon Sant, a local catalan region, that was also delicious. For meal, we started with presses tomatoes which came in a beautiful mason jar, and was served with bread with olive oil and soaked garlic. Oh my God delicious. Then we ordered several tapas dishes including empanada-like spicy meat, asparagus and caprese all baked with cheese in a breaded outer pocket. Oh my God part 2. We also ordered something called Humita which was savory and another delicious tapas item! All of these or most were under 'Starters' but that was all we needed. Olives came to the table as well. Then Lalo treated us with a free set of shots after dinner including limoncello and grappa, and we had the special chocolate dessert with lemon sorbet. The dessert looked like a chocolate waffle and tasted like a hot lava cake. Yes! He also gave us a 5 euro discount on our bill for no reason...seriously! We both had coffees which came in beautiful mugs from italy. All the decor is very cozy and well planned- lots of off beat touches and delightful photos, and thing a they love like Rugby championship trophies etc. Very classy and hip yet cozy at same time. We really felt like family here after only one dinner. We shook hands with Lalo and who I believe was his wife or partner upon leaving and promised we would be back. It was phenomenal. Book a reservation in advance. We got lucky when we showed up at 7:45pm which is still considered very early in Spain so they fit us in (they eat more at 10pm normally). By the time we left at 10:45pm it was packed! It's places like these that make eating out special and remind you what it feels like to be loved by the act of experiencing good food and service.

The whole experience was wonderful! The owner selected wine to go with our dinner order, and it was perfect. We had delicious food, including a hummus (made from broccoli that day - it was so good) and both steak and vegetable meals that were amazing. We loved the desserts also-the menu was creative and everything went well together. The service was personal and friendly. The restaurant is cozy. At the end of the meal, the owner asked us to write a wish on the cork from our wine bottle and he stuck it up on the wall with hundreds of others from other customers. We wished for many more nights like this one! (Also the whole staff speaks English.)

Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
