Drupati's at Chinguacousy Road

We ate lunch several times at Drupati's while visiting relatives in Brampton. We tried their doubles, bake and shark, and chicken or goat rotis. All the food was delicious, and freshly prepared. My wife especially liked the doubles. The bake and shark, and goat roti that I ate were delicious, and the portion size was good. Drupati's also has a week day special of a small roti which is actually the size of a regular roti in TnT. On the weekends they have "all you can eat buffet" which we did not try. While we were there they also do a very brisk take out business. The restaurant is fairly new, very clean, and located in a strip shopping centre with lots of available parking. Overall, a good restaurant for Trini food, and the service is good also.

Very basic but obviously very much liked by their client base. Portions are good size. Service lacks a bit and the overall attitude is business like with not enough ‘please’ , ‘thank you’ on the menu. Prices are aggressive and acceptable. Not necessarily a romantic getaway.

Worst service EVER

I placed an order with Uber on Saturday order number c29ca with Uber. I ordered Aloo pie with boneless goat with dhal and rice extra goat and potatoes. The driver came with the food and the receipt was on the bag but when I opened the food I got salt fish and bake with stew chicken with rice and peas. I called they blamed the Uber driver which was ridiculous because the correct receipt was taped to the bag so unless the driver switched food from one bag to another how could this happen they told me to come back and they would replace it I ordered from Uber got a reason I don’t drive so she said to take a credit I got upset and said no she put me on hold and got who I assumed was the manager who again blamed the poor driver she said she watched the video and he took the wrong bag, how is that possible when the receipt with my husbands name and the correct order was taped to the bag. She again said to get a credit and I again said no that I wanted my food she said she would send it and this was 8:38 pm at 8:52 pm she called and said Uber is closed they could not send the order?? BS Uber isn’t closed she put me on hold after I demanded they deliver it themselves or call a taxi, I waited over 10 minutes and got cut off I called back and she said she was figuring it out and put me back on hold where again I got cut off I called back 8 times and nobody answered the phone really professional. I cannot believe this and I am fuming right now I spent $30 for something I don’t like and have nothing to eat. Worst experience ever. I want my money back! I always pick up food from here and have ordered large party orders several times but this is not acceptable I expect a call back! I am so upset with this experience. I am expected to pick up the food after paying a tip to Uber, service fees etc. I will never order from here again and warn you not to either. Worst service I have ever received and to blame someone for your mistake is so terrible. Own up to your mistake, mistakes happen but you should fix it properly.

I went out of my way to go here on a reference.. i usually go to radicas because its close by . but after having to beg for extra gravy because d roti dry... i say no more . When i see what Drupatee is providing for $5 special... its done roti or curry on d side.. Taste way better than radicas.. the only thing is i have to drive a little bit.. But its worth it. Radicas is cheap nah @@s! You nah ready foe Drupatees! Or Alimas! Or Mollys..! Greedy!

Huge Portions, Delicious curry food

We went to its newly opened branch along Sandalwood and Chinguacousy and tried their chicken curry rice. The portions were huge and we were very satisfied with the taste. Initially I thought it was an Indian restaurant since it was beside another Indian restaurant.We realized later it was basically a Trinidadian cuisine. Would recommend trying out this place.

We recently visited this restaurant and it was not disappointing. If you are looking for tasty Caribbean food including Chinese Caribbean fusion this is worth a try. It's a family friendly, affordable spot!

This is a great find in our work neighborhood. Try the Peppered Shrimp! It is spicy fantastic. We usually have a fried rice with that. Sometimes we do the Curry Goat. Spicy and tender. I could eat the whole dish by myself. ENJOY!

I've only had a few things from their menu but everything tastes so damn good! The portion sizes are huge for the prices they are charging which is great.
