I recently dined at Tarantella, an outstanding Italian restaurant that exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with charming decor and a friendly staff. The menu featured a wide range of classic Italian dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. I was particularly impressed by the generous portion sizes, which provided excellent value for money. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and savory. The tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending to a delightful meal. Tarantella is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in hearty servings. Highly recommended!

I had dinner last night at Tarantella. The food and service was exceptional. I think it is the best Italian Restaurant in the Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta area.
I had the Tuna Tartare appetizer. Everything on my plate was extremely fresh and delicious. The food was beautifully plated with a large portion of fresh Ahi Sashimi grade tuna, which was marinated in a lime marinade. It was served on top of fresh avocado slices with thinly sliced red onions, julienned carrot strips, and cherry tomatoes. It was topped with fresh mixed greens and a very thin slice of crisp bread. It was surrounded with a Dijon mustard and honey dressing.
Prior to receiving my tuna, I was served 6 triangles of crisp pizza bread with fresh rosemary and baked to perfection in their Italian wood burning oven. The bread was served with delicious Italian olive oil and Balsamic Modena vinegar.
I had an exceptionally good glass of Italian Multepulciano red wine with my meal. They have a Sommelier on staff and they let me try the wine first. They have an excellent selection of wines by the glass and by the bottle.
The place was packed at 9 pm on a Thursday night and there was very good live music. The restaurant is beautiful, both inside and on the outdoor patio.
My waiter, Melvan, spoke excellent English, and his service was perfect. Later, Cristian, the manager, came over to talk with me. He also spoke excellent English. I really enjoyed my discussions with both Cristian and Melvan.
I was dining by myself and had a terrific evening at Tarantella. I can’t wait to go back to try many more of the delicious looking items on their menu.
I highly recommend Tarantella if you are visiting the Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo area.

This Italian restaurant was recommended by one of the Paradise Village resort activity staff and my family and I were very grateful that we gave this place a try. The quality of service, food and ambiance is excellent. For starters we had the fritura mista (combination of lightly breaded medium size shrimps, calamari and octopus that are so soft and scrumptious which came with 3 different sauces adding flavor to the seafood meat. There were several servers attentive to our needs and really provided efficient serivce as our entrees were served quickly! Salavador, Cesar and the other waiters were very nice, pleasant and provided excellent customer service and experience. I provided pictures of our orders but my son's braised ribs placed as number 1 out of the 4 dishes we ordered. It was soooo soft and with the delicious taste of the sauce just melts in my mouth when he had me try a piece of the meat. Oh my goodness!!! It was soooooo good! I must not forget to mention the presentation from appetizer to main dishes and dessert exceeded my expectation! Another addition to outstanding experience is the tiramisu that is out of this world! The reataurant's ambiance is so pleasant with nice lighting and greenery decoration all over the ceiling and the walls. There is an option to sit outside or inside. Mossimo, the live singer's voice and choice of music he sang we enjoyed very much! Thank you for a wonderdul experience and excellent service! We can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu! We will be back before we go back to Chicago :)

The first time we tried this new restaurant it wasn’t the best experience. There was live music that was so loud we couldn’t talk to anyone at our table. The food was rather bland and the service was not so good. But it was a new place so we decided to give it another try. On the second visit there was no live music and we sat “inside” which had better ambience. But the server barely spoke to us and the food was still nothing special. The pizza looked good but we did not have that. We had lasagna bolognese which was very meaty and needed more sauce, cannelloni formaggio which had good flavor, and orecchiette which was very bland. Not sure we will go back since there are a lot better choices for Italian food close by.

Loved this place so much I cam back twice before the end of my trip! The food is amazing, we tried the pasta, lasagna, and pepperoni pizza and they were all very tasty and good portions. My only regret is that I didn't save room for the tiramisu. The atmosphere is intimate and very open. They even have a play area to bring your kids while you are eating/want some quiet time. The service was amazing! Merlan was very attentive and helpful when deciding what to order and was very friendly. I will definitely be back to this restaurant every time I visit Nuevo Vallarta :)

Where to begin? The service, food, atmosphere and style of the entire restaurant was phenomenal. Merlan provided exceptional service through the entire night; he was attentive, kind, and accommodating. All of the staff members went above and beyond for their customers. The food and drinks were both incredible. They have a wonderful combination of seafood and Italian cuisine that is both local Mexican and Italian cuisine in influence. Of all of my travels, this was by far some of the best Italian cuisine I’ve had. But most of all, you must try the tiramisu!

Everything was delicious and top quality. We ordered the bruschetta caprese, pepperoni pizza and the house special pasta. All ingredients were fresh, each dish was full of flavor and nothing felt heavy or bland.
I ordered a delicious clericot and my husband a beer. Our server José was excellent and knowledgeable about the food and history of the dishes and owner. We will be coming back to try breakfast and lunch. And date night too probably.

Our family of 4 was on vacation nearby and had the pleasure of dinning here, our server Merlán was so attentive and helpful! We ordered 1 pizza, 2 pasta dishes, and a salad to share as a family. The food was simple but delicious and we had plenty of leftovers as the portions are generous. I would definitely dine here again and can't wait to go back in the future.

This was my Third visit to Tarantella since Sept 2023 and once again the place was 5 star all the way. Service at Tarentella is attentive and the food excellent and moderately priced. There is no upsell pressure. The restaurant is extremely clean and features a childcare area so no fussy kids as you linger over coffee and dessert.
There is only one area where they could improve and that would be their hostesses. Their energy has never seemed to match the rest of the staff or the friendly vibe of the restaurant.

My husband and I tried La Tarantella on a recommendation from our hotel concierge. I was hesitant to try yet another Italian restaurant. Seems like they are more prevalent than Mexican fare. But, I’m glad we went! Our pasta entrees were delicious and the appetizer beet salad was fresh and flavorful; enough to share. The cheese they used on both our salad and entrees was so good! Atmosphere is cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was excellent! Prices are moderate; perhaps a little pricey. Love that we could use Open Table to reserve. And they accept credit cards; a plus. We’ll be back!

Cute ambiance. We ordered their signature pizza and a ravioli dish. Both were delicious! I had Chianti that was exceptional. They also have non alcoholic beverages which was nice to see. The chocolate icecream dessert is a must and they have their own recipe for tiramisu that was to die for!!!

Eaten here 5-6 times and the food and service are consistently top notch . Christian the manager is a class act . All menu items tried have been excellent . But arguably they have the best Ceaser salad on the planet and I’ve had many in many places from vintage steak houses to trattorias in Rome and Tuscany - needless to say it’s up there and a generous portion enough for three to share . Usually excellent music on weekends . Staff courteous and professional . Bueno!!

A great dinner was had at Tarantella. The burrata appetizer/salad was beyond delicious. We’re 5 friends on vacation from Chicago and we all agree that their pizza is as good as a Chicago pizza. What completed our wonderful meal was our attentive server, Merlan!

Delicious food! We visited this restaurant twice during our visit. The bruschetta, pasta and tuna were cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable and the dessert…. Best Tiramisu that I have ever had. Bring your appetite!

The waiter Merlan was great, I asked about some choices and his recommendation was great. I recommend splitting the salad, it was great and perfect for two. My wife loved the salmon, my Manhattan was great and the wine Merlan recommended was perfect
