I have traveled to a few other out of country destinations and after spending sometimes as much as twice the dollars and having half the fun I said enough is enough. My 1st trip to Acapulco was in October 1987 and continued on and off until 1996 and after some off years when the kids were young we returned in February 2006 to the present enjoying everything the city has to offer. In 2017 we will mark our 17th trip to this beautiful city having stayed in many different hotels from the Posada del sol 3x (now Closed), Calinda Beach, Fairmont Princess 2x, Continental Plaza 2x (Now Emporio) and finally settling on our favorite the Fiesta Americana now 11x. We prefer Acapulco for the weather, Beautiful views, Nightlife and beaches and spending time with our friends that we meet there every year. We look forward to many more travel years to this city and visiting the wonderful people of Acapulco..
