The Bellamar Hotel Beach & Spa is often celebrated for its convivial atmosphere and prime location near beaches and nightlife, yet it maintains a tranquil environment conducive to relaxation. Guests commend the hotel's cleanliness and the spacious, well-appointed rooms, many of which offer sea views. We stayed at Bellamar in September 2021 for my hen do, there was a group of 8 of us and when we got there the guy on reception made sure our rooms were together. Check in was really fast and simple, the rooms were cleaned every morning and we had fresh towels every day. We were Room Only so didn't eat in the hotel, the hotel is a 1 minute walk to the beach front and everything in San Antonio Bay is within walking distance from this hotel. Ocean Beach is a 5 minute walk also. Our taxi from the airport was $32 and was around a 25/30 minute drive. There is a big pool and a jacuzzi at the hotel and plenty of beds too! There is also a supermarket right next to the hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again - thank you!

Had a great holiday at the Bellamar, great sea view room which was immaculate, lovely shower over a bath, beds firm but OK, soft pillows, aircon OK, free safe, tea and coffee in the room, towels changed everyday, bedding every other day. Restaurant was exceptionally clean, plenty of tables available at breakfast and dinner, buffet had plenty of choices for both, fresh omelette in the morning was perfect. The pool area is also exceptionally clean with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar. Great location to stroll along the promenade to the centre of San Antonio about 15 minutes, a lot of cafes and snack bars and harbour area. Lively on a night, however hotel is far enough away for a quiet nights sleep. Bus station is just off the main square opposite the "egg roundabout", used the bus to go to Ibiza Town, and another day to Sant Eulalia which was beautiful, the buses very clean, punctual, and cheap. As mentioned at the beginning, great holiday, great hotel, great weather all week sunny 27 degrees every day, would recommend this hotel to anyone. We have never returned to the same hotel after 35 years of travelliing but if in the future we did, we would go back to this hotel, it was that good.

We have just completed a 3 night stay at Bellamar. We have had an amazing time. The grounds are spotless and they do everything to keep it COVID safe. Masks are required to be worn indoors unless eating or drinking and there’s plenty of hand sanitising stations everywhere. They also have all the different recycling bins which is a massive plus so nothing goes to waste. The sun loungers are so comfy and the jacuzzi is a lovely touch. The staff are so polite and can’t do enough for you. Shower gels and shampoos are also provided in the rooms. The only reason I haven’t given this a 5 star is because at night it gets very loud with other guests having after parties but I am a light sleeper and kept getting woken up. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent holiday at the Bellamar with four teenagers. The hotel was very accommodating to changes in our party size and responded quickly to e-mails before we arrived.

We had two standard rooms but had side sea view in both rooms which was a bonus.

Good selection and quality of food at both breakfast and dinner. The dining room does feel a bit canteen like at dinner as the lights are bright. We were buying bottled water but saw a water fountain after we had been there a few nights which we could have used.

Always got sunbeds at anytime but parasols are more limited, pool is in the sun all day with little shade so not ideal if you like some shade.

Beach just across the road which is a nice beach.

The hotel has an excellent location, turn right and it is a 20 minute walk into San Antonio and lively bars, about 30 mins to sunset strip. It is a pleasant walk along a promenade.

Some nice bars if turn left out of the hotel, much more of a family feel but good to have options close by.

We would return to this hotel but would not opt for half board as although the food was nice the ambience was not.

It’s got all your basic needs in the room and around the hotel.

Don’t forget on arrival you will need to pay a city tax, think it was around €16 for the week when we went.

Room had air con, fridge, tv, balcony with table set, safe, towels etc.
The hand-hair-body wash was a hemp based natural wash which was nice.

Balcony side with view of the beach got a good sunset view.

Staff were friendly on the desk, you could buy club tickets there too or ask for cabs.

The breakfast was nice, although garlic mushrooms in the morning was a new one for me! But much after a heavy night!
Evening meal...now food is food and when there’s choice I don’t like to complain. However, it was random and bland, but it was what it was, buffet meals are all the same.
Had to pay separate for drinks, but don’t miss the water tap first thing on your right when you go in the restaurant.

Bar by the pool was standard prices, around €10-€13 for a cocktail, about half for a pint of beer.

There’s a shop to the right of the hotel with your basics and then two doors to the left (when you exit from pool area) there’s a shop with fresh pastries in the morning.

Beach is opposite the road which joins the strip.

To the right of the hotel up the road is a lovely outdoor bar and restaurant, think it was called Natural, did fresh juices, pizzas, amazing salads.
It’s right behind Ocean Beach.

Overall, clean, comfortable, close to everything you want and need whether it’s beach and bathing or bars and restaurants.

Had a fab stay here for a week, had a sea view which we paid extra for but seeing that sunset every night from balcony is priceless!
All staff were lovely, helpful and pleasant! Good food, always choice! Chiefs and dining staff were all great! Taking all covid precautions as they should, mask wearing inside, inside the restaurant walking around and found it a big ease that everyone had to sanitise and wear a disposable glove while choosing food which was spot on, and there was no slacking if people didn’t wear glove they made sure people were following the rules, not like school rules but just safety and respect to everyone and everyone seemed to understand.
Had a great stay, would certainly recommend, pool area lovely not over crowded and always got a bed and parasol. Clientele of the hotel was couples and people 30+ I would say, very much a chilled vibe.
Thanks for lovely stay Bellamar

The hotel was lovely and clean. Good slection of breakfast. Staff were nice and friendly. The only downside was you had to pay extra to use the spa facility as it isnt included, you have to book a treatment or pay to use the facility.

We paid for a sea view room and it is really worth paying extra!

The hotel is in a really good location, close to O Beach (you cant hear any noise from O Beach at the hotel) theres a shop next door and the beach is across the road. Plenty of resturants nearby.

Overall a lovely stay and would definately reccomend.

What a place.
I can't think of a single thing I would wish to criticise.
Check in
Arrived about 12.30 in the afternoon very quick friendly process and our room was already ready for us.
The room 503 ( we are still in it until the end of the week) has a lovely view of the sea and the mountains. The rooms aren't particularly modern but they are well appointed and spotless. There's a minibar that actually works and air con to keep the room cool. If it's your thing the tv has bbc1, bbc2, itv, channel4 and film4. The towels and bedding are changed daily.
Breakfast
Breakfast is very nice with a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and pastries. There's also all the usual cheeses and cold meats along with bacon, eggs sausages, hash Browns, mushrooms etc. There's even a station for fresh omlettes and fried eggs and a machine to freshly squeeze orange juice.
Dinner
The food is some of the best I've had at a hotel that offers buffet style. There really is something for everyone.
Pool and bar area
The pool area is locked until 9.00am so no getting up at the crack of dawn to claim your sunbed. There are always plenty of beds even now in August when the hotel is full. The WiFi works really well all over the hotel including the pool area. The bar serves very nice snacks and salads in the outdoor area by the pool and a wide selection of drinks. They even give you glasses of ice to take to your room if you require them.
If you go out the bottom gate and turn left the second supermarket along does huge freshly made baguette sandwiches for just over 3 euros.
The Staff
The staff are truly lovely and cannot do enough to help.
If you are thinking about this hotel definitely book it you won't be sorry

We are a family group of 10 (age range from 21 months to 63)
We was moved to this hotel by Jet 2 (we had booked the Hawaii over the road but it’s changed to NYX and it’s now adult only) we was very apprehensive, but wow we was not expecting to be so impressed!!
From the first impression the hotel lobby was clean and reception staff were friendly, we arrived around 1pm and all 4 rooms were ready. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms are big and very clean with all amenities; kettle, safe, fridge and on the first day there is a complimentary bottle of water. The rooms are cleaned to an excellent standard everyday with fresh towels and the maids are so friendly and polite.
The pool area is great and as a family of 10 with 3 kids we never struggled to get a sun lounger any time of the day.
The drinks around the pool and at the bar at night are lovely and reasonable priced for where you are in Ibiza. Around €10 for a cocktail. The sangria is lovely also.
Food is fantastic in the main buffet restaurant and there are plenty of options at breakfast and dinner. We was really surprised at the standard of food and each night was different during our 10 night stay. Head waiter is lovely and on the first night reserved us a table so we could all sit together morning and night, he couldn’t do enough for the guests. The pool snack bar is a must, we ate lunch here a few times and really enjoyed it, again the standard of food was really good not just typical burgers and chips, the quesadillas were a family favourite!
We saw entertainment a few nights and it was good we saw a magician, dancers and a singer.
Mainly what we loved about this hotel was the friendliness of the staff and how it wasn’t huge, so getting around especially with children was very easy. There were always seats at nighttime around the bar area and they had comfy sofas by the pool also.
Overall this hotel was fantastic for what we needed and we was really impressed with the service.
We loved it so much we have booked to return next year with more family who are coming on our recommendations!
Tips: breakfast is served 0800-1030 and dinner is 1930-2200. The hotel has a beach towel service €10 deposit (which you get back) and then €1 each time you want a fresh towel.

We were last year in May and again in September, we were given the same warning by Jet2 before we went. There was nothing worry about. Still a great choice of hotel.
