Leaving today & we all want to cry , This place is absolutely amazing , We have two young Boys 7 & 10 Years Old that have had the time of their life, memories made & so many friendly staff & friends we have also made in our weekly stay. To the Resort , Staff & especially Kids Club Management & Staff Brian was so amazing with the kids, special activities like the 6pm Torch Lighting Ceremony & Dress Up with Brian is something my boys will have memories of forever ❤️🌴, Whydham is such a family friendly, clean , beautiful resort we enjoyed many nights sitting in the pool bar while kids swam near by watching the Sunset. We visited many resorts close by but by far Whydham has it all , Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant in the Resort was our favourite breakfast, lunch & Dinner Spot with Friday night Polynesian & Fire Dancers as Entertainment was amazing. To all the Staff @ Whydham Denaru thank you for the most memorable & best holiday ever & Biggest Hug & Thanks To Brian for making me & my family feel so welcome ❤️ we will definitely be coming back soon Bula Vinaka !

The pool is the best out of all resorts on Denarau Island and it is absolute water front. Staff are well trained and professional, kind, welcoming and accomodating. Beach shack restaurant/bar by the poolside serves quality dishes at very affordable price and bartenders deserve two thumbs up. Mamacita Mexican restaurant does free room service and pizzas and margaritas are to die for. Special thanks to Torika, the gracious, beautiful and funny host who organises Wyndham owners party on Mondays, you are awesome! Staff even sings for the guests twice daily and they are better than any choir! We are definitely coming back here again and our whole family thanks Wyndham for making our holiday unforgettable experience!!

This was our first time in Fiji and we couldn't be more happier with our whole trip and experience. We had a 2 bedroom garden view apt which was very spacious and clean. It was a self contained apt which allowed us to cook our own meals. However, for a room that accomadates 6 people the cooking utensiles/pots were not large enough. The kids loved the pool and all the activites especially kids club. We loved that there we so many activities like morning walks, water aerobics, canoeing, frog racing, coconut and basket weaving demos and so much more that we didn't see the point of having to leave the resort much. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our holiday the best it can be. Slyvester and Nancy were so sweet and went out of their way to make the best cocktails at the pool bar with some awesome patterns in the cups writing Bula or happy bday which made it that much more special. We had a romantic dinner which was set up so beautifully and Gibson was super nice and made our dinner so memorable. The spa ladies were absolutely incredible in all massages,hair braiding and henna but especially Sency and Shalu. The General Manager Wesley was amazing and went out of his way to listen to all feedback and issues we had and aswell as helping a few friends of ours with their issues - the resort is lucky to have an amazing manager like himself. BUT we would like to make a massive thank you to everyone on the activities team especially Fono, Erami, Brian, Millie, Mere, Sala, Esther, Mariaha and Mesu. They became our family and we are so grateful we got to meet them all. They are the ones who made this our best holiday ever - so memorable that we cant wait till we come back to see everyone again.

Amazing resort, beautiful clean spacious rooms. The rooms are self contained which gives you the option to cook your own meals. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the huge pool with activities throughout the day.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The staff were warm and welcoming. We had a 3 bedroom condo which was great, except for the kitchen which was a little out dated, but who cares when you're in Fiji! Beds as usual were comfy and plenty of towels and linens. We were there long enough to have a cleaning. It was convenient to have Rosie's Adventures on site who helped us book several excursions and rent a car...all was very easy. The pool is HUGE so never feels crowded. There is no beach access, but there are stairs leading to the ocean. My floaty and I enjoyed morning swims whenever the tide wasn't too high. At the suggestions of others, we bought our liquor from the duty free store at the airport when we arrived because drinks were very expensive. We found 2 grocery stores to purchase food. The one at the Port was more expensive, but you could reach it on the Bula bus. The other store is about a mile walk through the gold course or a taxi ride which costs us $3 Fijian. Well worth it since the food selection is better and less expensive than at the Port. Also, only place we could find frozen fruit to make slushy drinks! We took the public bus into Nadi and shopped at the local fruit/veggie market which was really cheap. Plus, met some rally nice people. Also, found a bakery. There is a bakery at the Port which was great. Also, ate at an Italian restaurant at the Port which was fantastic. I could go on and on because we loved it so much!

We visited this hotel while staying next door at the Radisson Blu. It is a nice four star hotel and has a lovely complex of Pools and live music in the evenings. It also has Mamacita’s, a good mid level Mexican restaurant with a Happy Hour with very modest price reductions on drinks then. Better buys on Happy Hour abound particularly at Heineken’s at the golf course. Rooms include kitchenettes which can save on expensive food costs. A good choice particularly when their prices are better than the other local competitors.

After so long of not being able to travel, it was just wonderful to get back to Fiji and Wyndham at Denarau. It is just so close to Nadi, the airport, and a few minutes from Port Denarau, to take tours to the different islands. However, you won't want to leave the resort. The team is just so friendly and welcoming, I brought my parents for their first trip to Fiji and they have just loved being greeted with a warm Welcome Home. the rooms are very spacious and very clean and the best thing is having your own kitchen and laundry facilities to ensure you truly have the home experience while on holiday, keeping the cost down by being able to buy local and prepare meals in your room. However their is a huge variety of places to eat at the many resorts in the area or at Port Denarau, just use the bulla bus to get around Denarau island and explore. The main pool is massive with a swim up bar and there is also an adults only pool with swim up bar for total relaxation. Activities and events are provided daily, so you can get the full Fiji experience without leaving the resort. This does feel like home

We were discovery owners looking to see if we wanted to invest. When we first got here john the wyndham salesman came to our room he told us he had tickets for us to go to a beach club but didnt say it was contingent on us going to a seminar or further explain what the club rules were. We decided to get a pool cabana to stay out the heat for $50 but since we brought own own drinks we had to upgrade to the beach cabana. Before john left he tried to sale us his own private tour for 200 where another front desk worker offered the same tour for 150. I feel like they do it alot even getting taxis back to the hotel is a haggle where we paid 35 to get to wyndham but they staff wanted to charge us 45 to get to the airport. The workers are obviously scamming residents and skimming money off the top. The outdoor grill had roaches on counter, construction right outside my room, and no water for half a day. once they were done with water pipe our water tasted weird and came out dark.

Bula 661jamarw, Thank you so much for taking your time to give us a feedback on your membership trial. I will look into these issues especially with our employees. The Discovery Owner deals are only given to guest during booking, that will attend the seminar. The taxi price that our front-desk gave you is correct because Denarau Taxis are required to have insurance liability coverage compared to outside taxis from the airport and that's why they charge at a higher cost. A main pipe outside your room were leaking and we made sure letters were delivered to each rooms and even call all the rooms to let them know that we will be turning the water off. The water was off, total 2 hours and thanks to our maintenance team for getting the water restored to the Resort that quickly. Thank you again for your feedback's and will make sure to address your concerns.

My wife and I were gifted a reservation here for our 30th wedding anniversary. Arrived on 27th December and Mother Nature quickly gifted us with our first ever hurricane, called tropical Cyclone Sarai. Not a great start to our vacation. We were in awe of the hospitality of the staff who were very accommodating and took the time to store our bags until our room was ready. We got to our room right next to the pool and beach front and began to hunker down for what was to be 2 days of the most brutal storm we had ever experienced. Given information about our trips purpose the staff had set the scene for our room with a nice happy anniversary message on the bed with the towels folded in swans, big hit with the wife. The staff brought extra towels as the room started to leak a bit with the onslaught of water and wind. We headed to the market on site and purchased provisions to be able to cook in our room and have coffee. The room was very nice with 2 zone air conditioning, a large shower, kitchen and comfortable seating. The on site restaurant Mamasita’s has good food and great coffee along with a great variety. We woke up after the first night and noticed strange things in the pool. Turns out that the lounge chairs had been taken off the beach and placed in the pool to protect them from being blown around during the storm, simple genius. We took advantage of the concierge to book a private island trip, a nice dinner out. Very helpful and friendly staff, as already mentioned. We were at the resort for New Years which was a fabulous fireworks display and party deep into the night. This resort makes you feel like family, I could not have asked for a better 30th anniversary.

First reveiwed this place in 2014, here Iam again 7 years later. In 7 years there hasnt been a change to anything but the maintainence crew do a heck of a job, more impressed with the hotels grounds condition above everything else. Other resorts during covid have kinda neglected theirs to a certain degree.
We were in the 3 Bedroom waterfront, and that there is a great vacation room for a family or large group. The kayaks/boards had no restrictions to time limits which is a big benefit over other similar resorts. The Gym is one of the better ones on Denrau and have good enough equipment for everyone.
The actitivties they have at the pool are still going even during this covid times which was great to see. They had movie night on both days during the weekend by the pool (how good is that), with a popcorn/candyfloss stand and everything. Ive learnt they have a Day Pass set up if your interested on doing a Sunday days out, where you can acess the Pool and Movie night which starts at 7pm. Id recommend calling them for confrimation on this thou. But overalll wonderful staff and a Big Vinaka to the Staff aswell.

Yes there are 3 bedroom apartments. The two bedrooms also have a pull out Murphy bed if one couple don't mind sleeping in the living area. The beds can also be combined to make queens.
You'll need to book 13 months out unless you get really lucky!!
Sorry to take so long. Unfortunately Wyndham have become very complicated with their bookings. Try going on a wait list as many people cancel their reservations. We absolutely love the place but very disappointed with the way Wyndham are handling bookings. Regards Margaret
