We like staying at this property. I am a Marriott Rewards Member and upon check in, I was told I got an upgrade to a large suite. That was a treat. Chuck checked us in and was friendly and informative about the hotel and the area. We were supplied with a list of restaurants that are open for social distancing dining or pick up/delivery. Cleaning staff will no longer come into your room to clean, If you need something, (more towels, garbage cleaned, etc.)you have to contact the front desk and they will make arrangements for the request to be met.
There is free unsecured WiFi. There is a outdoor pool and hot tub. A Grab and Go breakfast is offered. Wearing masks in public areas of the hotel is required.
The hotel is located 1.5 miles from the Zion Visitor Center.
When checking out, we were met by Nyla and Kayla who were smiling and happy. Checking out was easy and contactless. We would stay here again.

Shout out to the front desk workers, Chuck, Nyla and Kayla. During these stressful times, being greeted by a happy face and a cheerful personality helps you feel normal. Thank you!

During Covid time, we are taking our own precautions when staying at hotels. One of us goes in the room first and wipes down surfaces using Clorox wipes. This includes the TV remote. Lysol spray is also used. If you want to take an extra layer of precaution, take a small piece of Saran Wrap and wrap the TV remote. These are just suggestions.

We stayed here two nights over spring break using Marriott points. We had two, two queen rooms on the second (top) floor. The hotel does not offer any connecting rooms. The rooms were lovely and very large. The sofa bed was kind of unusual; it was a big couch that had a trundle bed which pulled out. You have to ask for linens for it from the front desk; they are not automatically provided. One of the best things about this hotel was its pool area. The view is just incredible and there is really nice furniture out there in a hot tub. There is also a lovely outdoor eating area for breakfast or a takeout meal. Speaking of food I highly recommend the Sol Deli down the street. It is half grocery store, half deli and quite affordable. Eating in Springdale was very expensive; a trip to the pizza place set our family of four back $97. Since your room has a microwave, refrigerator, and K-cup machine you can buy some groceries and heat up things in your room to save some money. The breakfast was pretty good for coronavirus standards. It was not back up to the usual fantastic Residence Inn standards, but one nice thing they did was put out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day and paper bags so that people could pack lunches for the parks.

I would stay here again, but there were a couple of caveats. First, it seemed that every family in the hotel had a dozen children. This meant there was lots of little feet running up and down the hallways all the time. Also, we could hear our neighbors through the wall and feel/hear the vibrations of their children stomping around the room. That was kind of weird because normally you only expect that when you are staying on a lower floor regarding the people above you. I have never had that happen before with the people next to me. The hotel is new so I don’t think there’s anything they can really do about it because they must have skimped a bit on building the hotel. I would stay here again, but I would definitely insist on a room on the top floor as I can imagine that the lower floors would have heard all kinds of stomping. Also one other minor complaint was that they are using the shared toiletries that are mounted in the shower. One room had barely a half inch of shampoo and conditioner and since there is no maid service during your stay it was never replenished.

The location of this hotel is beautiful! It is surrounded by the mountains!

The staff is extremely friendly and wore masks the whole time I was there. They were also very respectful about telling guests to socially distance inside the buildings. Breakfast was also served in paper bags, which was very nice. It had a hot item you could warm up in the microwave, fruit, and a bunch of other fun things.

The room is well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

The pool was open but the number of people in the area was limited. There is also a nice fire pit with chairs around. It was a great place to sit at night under all the stars.

You can walk to restaurants and bars nearby. There is also a liquor store in the property next to the hotel, so it’s not far. It’s also a nice bike ride to the entrance to Zion.

There is a small pantry in the hotel with snacks, but it doesn’t sell wine or alcohol. You can get beer though.

This was a great hotel, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I go back to Zion.

The Springhill Suites is the perfect accommodation for those who wish to explore Zion and its neighboring areas due to its convenient location, outstanding amenities and excellent staff.

A shuttle is available every 15-20 minutes to take you the park entrance and it stops a few feet away from the hotel. There's an abundance of choices for dining too as the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and the Sol Foods Grocery store is just around the corner.

The views are spectacular too. And this doesn't matter which room is allocated to you since the hotel is just flanked by the most amazing rock formations and hills. Try sitting outside for breakfast and just enjoy the fresh air and the breathtaking view.

I would rate our room a 5 too. It was quiet, had good soundproofing, and was very spacious. I'm not really sure why there are reviews here that mention how bad the climate control, pillows and beds are. We had a double queen room and everything was beyond satisfactory. We were always well-rested after a full day of hiking and other strenuous activities.

The pool looked very inviting and it's bigger than most of the pools I've used at other SpringHill Suites locations. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try it because it was busy most of the time.

Zion is definitely a place I will return to and the SpringHill Suites will be the place I will stay at as well on our next trip there.

The hotel was in a great location with amazing views of the mountain all around it.
There are some nice seating areas - balconies off the 2nd floor, or the fire pit on the deck off the lobby or the one near the pool - where you can relax and enjoy the mountain views in the evening. The problem is we were too exhausted from hiking all day to even stay awake for a drink to sit and enjoy! The rooms were fine - small fridge for storing items, workspace, and the bed was fine. I'm not sure why they don't have balconies off the rooms as well. The pool was also fine but there were a ton of kids that were NOT well behaved there during the late afternoon when we stopped by. There is no staff around to monitor. The breakfast which is included was fine (pared down due to COVID) and we were able to enjoy the fresh morning air on the deck while eating and enjoying our coffee before our hike. I would recommend and would stay here again if we return to Zion.

Springhill Suites in Springdale is the nicest Springhill Suites we have ever stayed in. The property is inviting, and the setting, with views of the red rocks, is gorgeous. Set back from the street and about 1.5 miles from the Zion NP Visitor’s Center (which is the bus y side of town), it is on the quiet end of Springdale. The Larger Suite is well worth the upgrade or extra cost. With one bedroom, a large walk-in closet, a devoted counter area for microwave, mini fridge, sink, a larger than usual bathroom, a living room, and a private patio, this suite is spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. These larger suites are in a separate building from the main lobby and there is no elevator in this building. Rooms facing away from the street offer spectacular views of the red rocks, and rooms further from the main building are more private. The buffet breakfast offers hot and cold options. Fire pits and the outdoor hot tub/pool add to the ambience. Staff members are friendly and helpful and ensure that elite benefits are applied to your stay (upgrade, late check out, bonus welcome points). Room rates are ridiculously high for a Springhill but they also bounce around, so reserve early and then keep checking.

The Italian restaurant across the street is really good and the best meal of our two week long road trip.

At the current time (April 2022), rooms are extremely expensive. If you get the right room, you could have an awesome view. For me, that would be a room with a balcony facing the rear of the property on the 2nd floor of the wing to the right of the lobby. The front desk will tell you that all rooms have a view, but some views are much better than others (half face the parking lot). When assigning rooms, it does not appear that staff act on any preferences included in your reservation. Note that beds are made every 4 days during your stay (if you call pulling up the sheets making a bed) unless you specifically request otherwise, & towels & trash cans aren't refreshed unless you schedule it with the front desk & indicate the frequency (how about daily?) & time range they may access your room. That said, I found Kiley at the front desk to be especially helpful; she seemed like she really wanted to make guests happy. Front desk staff seem to double as room refreshers, but housekeepers are different staff. Complimentary breakfast is an assortment of breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, fresh fruit, coffee. A good addition would be fat-free cream cheese (for bagels). Hotel is a mile from the Zion entrance, & the free Springdale town shuttle to the Park fills up at the 1st stop; hotel is at stop #6 of 9. If I were staying again, I'd book the Cliffrose much closer to Zion Park so you could walk to the entrance.

Good day, thank you for sharing the details of your recent stay. You are correct in that there are a myriad of preferences as it relates to where people like to be lodged, sometimes we nail it and sometimes we do the very best we can to accommodate the guests who are staying longer term with us, it can be quite the puzzle. In room and stay over services have been a bit of a rolling target on how they are best offered, we have committed to TIDY upon request, while you are away -we will remove trash, refresh towels if needed and straighten beds. This is not exactly what the standard was 3 or more months ago, we are learning what has become the new acceptable norm for the comfort of our staff and guests as time goes on. We would be happy to host you on your next visit.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights over New year in December 2020 to explore Zion and escape the crowds. The hotel is beautifully finished in an amazing location right on the river. The pool was closed but the hotel had a great program in place to limit numbers in the hot tub for social distancing to ensure guest safety. We had a larger suite, which had a seperate living room, kitchen facilities and a huge bedroom and bathroom, along with a balcony, all of which had a beautiful view up the mountain across the garden and pool. We took our dogs with us and they loved the location and the hotel pet policy was great (this is one of the view hotels in Springdale that allow pets). The firepit was fantastic and the finishes in the room and the hotel in general are superb. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive.

Great hotel. Perfect location. There's a Springdale shuttle stop right outside the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Only downside is the pricetag but that's due to tourism to Zion growing significantly over the past few years. All hotels in the area are pricey. The rooms also have lights in the ceiling in addition to the lights by the bed. I loved this feature!

Upon arrival, the hotel had lost power and was chaotic. They couldn’t check anyone in and had to physically verify rooms were ready for guests. The staff was friendly and definitely did great given the circumstances.

The gentleman at the front desk had my name on guest list that was generated prior to the power loss, as a Titanium elite, they expedited my family to our room, which was nice.

We had a 2 queen suite with futon, which was nice so each kid got their own bed. Room was spacious, clean, and very modern. No complaints at all!

Breakfast, like everywhere else with COVID-19, is grab n go. I don’t remember the options being memorable, but breakfast was offered. I’ve been in nearly 10 different marriott branded hotels since, and all breakfast offerings are forgettable. But at least they’re offering something.

I found that this properly was really nice, but unlikely I’d return as they command $250+ per night or want 50,000 points per night because they’re classified as a Category 6 hotel. I found an unbelievable cash rate on my stay, but wouldn’t pay those prices personally. Zion is a major tourist attraction, and that’s why they price it the way they do, but I got a much better return on my points the following night at next door Holiday Inn Express. App showed they had no rooms available for second night but front desk said they did, not sure what was up with their revenue management that day. Unfortunately I already booked the other hotel and packed up before they offered me to stay in my room. Oh well.

I would definitely stay again but only if the price was right.

About 30 minutes. The hotels are literally at the doorstep, right after the Entrance/Exit. It is actually a good idea to do mid-day break, but I do suggest with this break in plan make an earlier day start to take advantage of your available time. Early starts also give you easier access and less crowds to enjoy it all and take photos, in a very pleasant weather.
