This place gives new meaning to the word budget. The only thing good about this place is the location and parking, other than that, best to find accommodations elsewhere. Paper-thin walls so you can hear everything that goes on in the adjoining rooms, doors which don't shut but slam (and you pretty much have to slam the door to make it lock),a very loud ice machine by the lobby with no door so be prepared to be wakened when a guest decides to get ice at 3 AM, a cleaning crew which starts vacuuming at 7 AM so you're waking up no matter what. In the room I was in there is a door which I thought was a closet but when I opened the door it was to the adjoining room which had what looked like plasterboard installed as a wall. The bathtub finish was worn away, there was no iron and you have to check at the front desk for one and iron in the laundry room. The last day I was there I paid six bucks, for the washer and the dryer, plus one buck for a detergent pod. When I double checked the clothes when they were washing there was barely any water so I had to spend about 10 to 15 minutes opening and closing the lid to add water. The dryer took over an hour to dry the clothes and it was a small load. One morning the coffee machine went empty in the breakfast room and I told the gentleman at the front desk who told my to get coffee from the machine in the lobby. I don't know whether he got up and made some for the guests still in the room as I left. It was nearly 1800 dollars for 8 nights which isn't exactly budget friendly especially when travelling alone. And yeah, wifi worked. Two stars for location only.

I normally don't write reviews, but benefit from others. If you're a person who wants to sleep, this is probably not your hotel. Room 112 is adjacent to the stairs and you will hear every person going up and down, seemingly repeatedly. The kicker though is the plumbing. Not sure if all the drains run right through the room's common wall, or if it's just the one above and the occupants had distress. There must have been 30 loud water events throughout the night. Flush flush flush. Still not sure I slept at all and I was exhausted after hiking 8 miles in Arches record heat.

Desk attendants were friendly and helpful, our room was clean but the walls and doors have no insulation against sound. We were here during the off-season but I could almost hear every word of the conversations our next door neighbors were having after 11:00 at night and their early morning conversations beginning around 5am. Lots of talking in the hallways during the night, a phone ringing unceasingly (unanswered) in the darkest hours of the morning, the ice dispenser in the hall dispensing ice violently into a bucket for God knows what reason in the wee hours and a door that opened and closed with multiple ‘thunks’ every few minutes. I can only imagine the deafening din that must reverberate through its rooms and corridors during the high season.

I may have slept better in my car…

The parking lot was adequate, the check-in was flawless by a very accommodating young man who sent us to room 117. The lobby was furnished with many brochures touting the area and businesses catering to tourism. We were very happy to have room 117 as it backed up to a large sandstone wall which kept out any noise (except the occasional wind gusts of up to 60 MPH). Everything was clean and well taken care of. They had the high stools in the bathroom, the shower and sink were updated, and there were soap, shampoo, and conditioner replaced each day. The breakfast room was well supplied with adequate seating. Sammy had a nice smile for us as we cecked out. Thank you for a pleasing stay of two nights.

Arriving in Moab late in the evening and with no reservation anywhere, we were finding most of the hotels with no vacancy. Came upon the Moab Gateway Inn and were able to get a room - to the tune of $180 a night! We took the room since we didn’t have much of a choice, but for $180 a night we expected a little more for our money. Very sparse and plain. Very bare room with a tiny flat screen TV. No decorations, no in-room coffee. Pillows that were like sleeping on a sack of cement. The noise factor was unbelievable. Our neighbors next door were having a lively conversation late into the evening, with visitors, and I could almost join in the conversation since I could here every word they were saying. Talk about thin walls. Every slammed door nearly jolted us out of bed. And for $180 a night you would think a continental breakfast would be something more than mini-bagels, cold cereal, tiny muffins and small pastries. They did have a waffle maker and juice. Even with Covid we have stayed at less expensive hotels where they provided a decent breakfast. Save your money and book with someone else.

Save your money and either drive from green river or camp!! This place looked like it was in the middle of a remodel but in reality...it just always looks like that. The lobby and hallways were super nasty — halfway patched holes in the wall, ancient threadbare carpets, and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in years. Our room was a little better, but I still wore my shoes on the floor. Signs were just computer paper STAPLED into the walls. Our towels looked like they were decades old. One of our towels had a big hole in it. This room still cost $140 a night on a deal site and I overpaid by 139.99.

I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this place but ended up booking because it was literally all that was left. With that aside, I gotta say I enjoyed the stay a lot! If you want a good bed and good shower and a good cost in a great location, this is the place to crash for a few nights. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it more than gets the job done. Also saw a lot of people complaining about the staff. They aren’t the most friendly but not rude by any means. They check you in and out, what more do you need?

Would actually rebook if I return to Moab because the location was so great too right on the edge of town so you can dodge a lot of the traffic coming in at night.

We were vacationing in moab and wanted a clean reasonably priced hotel. Our one must have was a pool. If you have ever been to moab in July you now what I mean. 111 degrees pretty much every day. We had 4 nights booked. The hotel lobby had carpet torn up and looked like an ongoing remodel was occurring. Once in the room we were hit with a strong chemical odor. Drywall compound was on all surfaces and doors.but at least we had the pool. So off we went. Pool was green with algae and other growing things in it.we left without even attempting to swim. The next day after enjoying moab we went back to hotel and found out the health department shut the pool down and made them drain it. After the 3rd time the power went out we went to front desk to ask for refund for last night. Man at front desk was very rude stating no refund policy and would not let us speak to the manager. Said he couldn't even contact the manager. Have a sneaking suspension he was the manager.stay anywhere but here.

I needed a room for myself and my service dog. I asked for a ground floor room as they had no elevator and I can’t do stairs. The owner said “pet rooms” were upstairs and refused to give me an available ground floor room. Service dogs have the same legal standing as a wheelchair. The owner needs to relieve himself of his ignorance of the law

We chose this hotel only because of the pool that is in offer. The hotel shows beautiful pictures of the pool. In fact, for more than a year the pool has been closed and in a terrible condition. The staff can't even reply good morning to their guests in the morning. This hotel should be shut down by the relevant services and the health department
