The place is dated, owned by Hasidics and ran by rude people. I wish I spoke and understood Spanish better since most of the staff are from Central or South America. Check in was a problem and while we waited at the pool bar, the margaritas, served is small plastic cups were $13.00 each! We waited two more hours in the lobby and were never told as promised when the room was ready. Although I was in constant view of the staff I had to go to the counter to find out. The carpet in the room was worn to shreds by the door and the bathroom tub drained extremely slow. There was also a phone number written on the back of the bathroom door and there's no exhaust fan. The patio door stuck at a certain spot and I needed to give it my all to open or close it. The safe didn't work and not only didn't the full size frig fit in it's space it only had 1 shelf. The air conditioning was either on or off with no temperature control and no laundry bag in the closet or bottles of water upon check in as promised. The maid started arguing with me when I told her we didn't need room service New Years day, just a trash bag and a couple more towels and at $20.00 a day to park the Valet staff could use some manners. The only good thing I can say about this dump is it's right on the beach.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right on the beach with a pool and patio and oceanside views but the parking and management experiences were well below what I would consider to be acceptable.

Parking on site is mandatory valet parking (which costs an extra $20 per night and is not indicated in the parking and transportation section when booking) Not only were we charged a $20 a night to park our car, but the valet service was so slow that we waited nearly an hour to drop off our car the first night before we could even check in and then the next day when we requested the car 15 minutes before we were planning to leave (as we were instructed the night before and promised that "it would be ready for us") we waited over an hour for them to deliver it. Thankfully we had allowed plenty of time in our plans but we heard from others also waiting over an hour for their car who were missing dinner reservations with family because the valets hadn't brought their car out yet.

Additionally, when we originally booked this hotel, we booked 2 nights with points and 1 night with a credit card and were assured that the hotel was made aware that the bookings were consecutive and that we would be staying in the same room with no disruptions. I asked about this when we first checked in and they told me it wouldn't show up on their system yet and there was no way that they could confirm. We didn't fully trust them after the valet fiasco so I went to the desk on the overlap day to check and they didn't have any of the above information and were expecting us to check out that morning.

Finally, to the point of booking with points, I was disappointed to learn that while the cost of the room was covered with points, the mandatory resort fees of $12.50 a night were not covered and had to be paid out of pocket. This was also not indicated at the time of booking and while may not be entirely the fault of this particular hotel, was a part of the overall experience.

So all things considered, the room that we booked for an advertised price of $130 USD (plus the points we used) actually cost me $227.50.

While we enjoyed the views and the beach experience here, if I were to go back I would most definitely stay elsewhere.

The hotel is very out of date. The rooms were very dirty doors were rotten on the bottom of the bathroom. Lots of water damage in mildew inside the room. Poor room service. Valet parking very poor took 45 minutes to get my truck and I called 45 minutes before I went down to get it very poor set up. Made a wash cost me $10 for a washer and dryer well the customer service told me it only cost me five dollars False advertisement On the wall. I would never stay there again.

Property is also a condo & room next door had eviction notice. Front desk manager didn't seem concerned when we asked about it. Housekeeping didn't supply towels after cleaning, called and ask, they delivered towels and when I answered the door, the guy said "well, hello" and tried to look in to my room. Not a nice place to stay especially with a family. Miami and the beach were nice, but will never stay here again.

Terrible experience, including non-existent service, terrible valet service, could go on and on. Never again here! Rooms are old and dirty. Also:

You can NEVER get the front desk by calling from your room. They simply do not answer.

You have to go down to the lobby in person every time you need something and wait in line all over again (wasting your precious vacation time).

You have to request housekeeping a day ahead of time (they do not come unless you request it), even then they don't show up on time.

It was at least 40 minutes every time we wanted to get our car from "valet service." (wasting your precious vacation time).

Drinks at the pool are tiny cups for at least $13.00.They have only 1 person working the snack bar and you will wait forever for your order.
They simply can't handle that many people. Need to hire more workers.

The so-called "guest concierge" was also missing in action many times, when you needed him. No bell carts inside the front door so you could put your bags on them and wheel them to the elevators.

When you enter the lobby, it looks fancy. They have a waterfall and smooth jazz playing, but DO NOT BE FOOLED. This place is a time-wasting, frustrating dump from top to bottom. Never again!

Wasn't the worst hotel but wasn't the best... Outdated and upcharges everything from parking to pool towels. No daily housekeeping service and after multiple phone calls you can get extra towels and more coffee. The "restaurant" and bar closes early and no option for room service. Needs some TLC too make the rooms look less rundown. The valet takes a long time to get your car, request a solid 30 minutes prior to departure. The cabinets in our room were padlocked for some reason. Garbage was sitting in hallways waiting for it to be disposed of since there was no place to take it. Lines at the service desk were long and it says shuttle service but never saw a shuttle or the option of one. I would recommend spending a little more and booking a hotel on/by Hollywood beach boardwalk.

Just came back from a wonderful stay with my family. I have to admit the mix reviews on her had me very worried, but we had a great time. We had an oceanfront room and it was very nice, amazing view.

The room was clean, we had a full size fridge and went to the local supermarket (Publix -13 min walk) and stocked up on water, drinks and snacks ( a must when traveling with a kid) .

My spouse was disappointed the pools hours ended at 6pm thou, but honestly he was so focused on the beach an swimming in the ocean that he never even used the pool the whole time. Our child also loved the beach.
The pool was never crowded thou, plenty of pool lounge chairs available, free pool towels for hotel guest.

The beach lounges and umbrella as provided by a private company , $10 per chair and $20 per umbrella for the day (til 6pm).

Sunny Isles does have a free shuttle bus for people but we mostly walked or took short uber rides. There is a public bus available too.

The only reason I can give this property two starts is because of the fabulous location. It's right on the water with a fantastic heated pool for when that ocean is cold. The view from our ocean terrace was magnificent.

The service at this property is very lacking. The staff is extremely rude and very slow. It took hours to get things like a rollaway, sheets, towels, etc. The pool staff who checked people into the pool was lackadaisical and grumpy to the guests. If you needed to ask a staff member a question, you couldn't help but feel like you a were a burden and completely interrupting their day.

The rooms are okay. Ours was clean, but they definitely didn't take the time or put the proper effort into the upgrades they gave their room. Metal door frames were rusty and rotting away under the semi-fresh paint that was slathered on them. If you're going to put money into a facility to add granite counters, take the time and update the rest of the room correctly as well.

This wasn't the fault of the hotel, but some guests are just flat rude. Two nights in a row we had to listen to a room on the floor above play their music on their terrace. People, EVERYONE can hear that. You don't have the right to impose your will on everyone else. You want to listen to music? Use headphones. It's not okay to interrupt the rest of the hotel with your musical selection.

Would I stay here again? It's really a cost thing. If I could find somewhere else on the beach for slightly more, I'd stay there. The only thing, outside of the location, that drew me here was the price. There's a reason the price is where it is...

This is our first time hosting our annual reunion at a Beach Resort Hotel. I was pleased my first visit with sales person MS. Gary Suarez. Gary, she had a sound sales job knowledge, she knew the hotel inside out and I could tell by her giving me a tour of the property that she was sincere and honest. When I saw the rooms fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, real dishes and utensils I felt like I was at home. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping ladies were remarkable. The mind blower was my Oceanview suite. What I like best was the location of hotel directly on the beach, It made me feel as if I was on my own private island. I did not like the fact that we had no place close by to eat. The snack bar at the beach menu could use some improvement, cost was a bit expensive and the food quality and presentation did not meet my expectations. Gary made her self available at all time, she even showed up to our night event to assure that we were ok and was not in need of anything, she also was very helpful in giving us ideas on how to set up the ball that will work best for us. She also assured that catering was give us excellent service. Gary is a hard worker and she is very loyal to your company. Gary enjoy what she does and it is fully reflected in the way she treat her guest. The front desk attendants were extremely professional and helpful so was the pool attendant and the bell personnel and parking staff.

I went for four days with my parents, I paid an extra night to be able to check-in early, but the woman in the desk was not able to find my name for thirty minutes and keep repeating me that registration was at 4 pm. When we got to the room, the internet, Tv and air conditioner did not work, we call the reception they send someone, and he could not fix it, the excuse was that the building was too old, what is right, the bathroom looks dirty and humid, it did not have air extractor. I would not recommend going to this hotel.
