What a beautiful old homestead and run by a charming friendly lady who welcomed us and showed us to our huge, comfortable,Victorian style bedroom and bathroom which was one of the nicest we have stayed in.

The whole house is spotless, as we have found in all the B & B's we stayed in in Canada. Nice gardens and a porch where you can sit and while away some time in peace and quiet. There are good restaurants/cafes within walking distance.

There is a kitchen the guests may use and breakfast is served downstairs and was freshly cooked and set us up for the day ahead.

For sure this is recommended and we would certainly stay here again.

The thoughts of a wandering Irishman and his delightful GF from Mauritius.!
Canadians….don’t lose these treasures!
We finally discovered the wonderful Bed & Breakfasts of Canada! At first we thought they were like the US where the B & B owners seem to think it is a privilege for a guest to stay and charge exorbitant rates. Not so Canada. These are absolute gems and we will stay nowhere else. They are friendlier, often cleaner, more charming and personable than any Motel….and in most cases actually cheaper! What more could you ask for?][
Canada…..these are a fantastic alternative to the chains. The money goes straight to the pocket of the usually delightful owners and not into the coffers of some impersonal, accountant run corporation.
Do use them and don’t lose them. In Ireland they thrive, and thankfully so.

We stayed at this B&B in October 2016 for Canadian Thanksgiving. This is a beautiful location and everything was perfect. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast special. Hillsborough is a great place to explore the Fundy Coast and the town itself is lovely. We would highly recommend a stay at this B&B and its wonderful hosts.

I knew as soon as I pulled into the driveway I made the right decision to stay at the Victoriana Steeves B&B. Mr. and Mrs. Steeves are really lovely people and I felt welcomed in their home.

I stayed in the room in the front of the house. It had a really comfortable queen size bed, great wi-fi and TV. Although the room wasn't en-suite, the private bathroom was next to my room. It was huge and included a claw foot tub. I loved my room and instantly felt at home there.

Mrs. Steeves whips up amazing scrambled eggs - they were so light they floated on the plate! I was also fortunate enough to be served tomatoes picked fresh from her garden.

Be aware that they do not accept credit cards. I'm glad I asked when I booked.

Beautifully spotless B&B right off the main road and only about 10 mins to Hopewell rocks park and about 45 mins to Alma. Calva and Jerome were lovely hosts, made us a delicious breakfast (more than we could eat) and our family of four had a very comfortable sized room with two queen beds. We loved the kitchen area for the guests, along with the family room and large checker board and free wifi to plan our next day! So clean and comfortable, they obviously take great pride in running their business. Great bedding, soft towels and even a robe in case you wanted to soak in the claw foot tub! We haven't stayed at many B&Bs but after this great experience, and super value, we will be looking for more like this one!

We found this B&B at the last minute and it was wonderful. Friendly hostess, accommodations clean, quiet, very nice room and great breakfast. Very good value. Our destination was Hopewell Rocks and Fundy National Park. While somewhat distant, it worked out OK. Hillsborough is a nice, small town.

I had a meeting in town and decided to stay at this B&B instead of staying in Moncton at a hotel. I definitely made the right decision. The hosts were wonderful people that knew all the history of the local area, and it was a delight to chat with them. Rooms were clean, neat, and quiet, and the food was amazing. I would come again for sure.

This is older but nicely kept home with kitchenette upstairs with rooms. Rooms were nice some have private bath some don't. Bed comfortable and rooms were clean. Hosts very welcoming and a great spread for breakfast with pretty much everything. We only stsyed s night but it would be a good place if you wanted to chill for a day or two. 20 min from Hopewell Rocks.

Flew into Moncton late at night and wanted to go to Hopewell Rocks in the morning. This Bnb was perfectly located for us - roughly 30 minutes drive from the airport, and then only 10 minutes from Hopewell Rocks. I booked by phone and didn't get an email confirmation, but it wasn't a problem. They stayed up late for us. Room was cosy and immaculately clean, breakfast good, and the people friendly. Definitely recommend.

My husband's first B&B experience and he was the one who asked to return the next night w/o reservations. No pun intended. Luckily they had one room left. Both rooms were spotless and quiet with comfortable beds. Lounge area and porches available for relaxing. Guest's upstairs kitchenette and fridge was appreciated. Ensuite bathrooms. Full full breakfast cooked while we waited. We even received recommendations for neat places we hadn't heard of, like Cape Enrage and the St. Andrews coastal loop. This B&B is not far from Hopewell Rocks and the drive is through interesting scenery. Love this part of Canada! They also offered their phone so we could make reservations in Halifax.
