Main pool closed. This was never advertised. No parking, only valet & it is NOT QUICK. Expensive Daily “resort” fee gets you access to some busted up bikes, 2 beach chairs ($25 cash if you desire an umbrella). This is a hotel-NOT A resort! The beach bar staff SUCKS. We did not receive clean hand towels only bath towels. No in-room refrigerator (we asked for one & it was provided).

We stayed at the Lake Cadillac Resort while attending the Hoxeyville Music Festival. Other than it being a bit far from the festival, it was a great place to stay. Great location, right on the lake. Huge area out back along the shore with plenty of tables and chairs to hang out at. Our double room had direct access to the indoor pool. The rooms and public areas looked like they were recently renovated...new bathrooms, flooring, painted walls, fridge, microwave, beds etc... Therefore, the room was very clean. There was also plenty of shampoo and conditioner, which was great. Another thing was our room was in the back, hidden from the busy highway….so traffic noise was not an issue, plus our vehicle and bikes were hidden from view. The pool and deck area were very warm, which was really nice after a cold evening at the festival. The pool itself, however, wasn't renovated---the pool lining was peeling off, but other than being a bit unsightly, it was no big deal. The pool deck area was very nice and clean, however. Staff was friendly and helpful.
There were a few things that kept me from giving it a 5... Mainly the breakfast. VERY minimal as hotel breakfasts go. If management is reading this, providing a waffle machine would go a long way. Seems like standard issue for most places. Also, keeping the fruit bowl well stocked. Stocking some yogurt too. We actually decided to go out for breakfast one of the days, which we almost never do when hotels offer breakfast. Also, our room had no privacy at night….i noticed some rooms had vertical blinds, but for some reason, our room had shears hanging in front of our window. So not only was it see-through at night with the lights on, they also let a lot of light in during the morning. You need to fix that. And a few nit-picky things like unsightly wires and cables hanging from the TV, bathroom door sticking, like seriously sticking, and the lack of a chair(s) (and table) in the room.
Overall, i recommend staying at the Lake Cadillac Resort. There was a wedding taking place over the weekend, and my wife and i agreed it’s a great venue for a wedding. And lucky for us, the wedding party was all middle aged and older folks, so they weren’t too rowdy!

Visited with a group of family and friends for a small event. We arrived later than the others and did not eat at dockside restaurant but I was told not to get the steak and the other food is ok. Service was less then impressive.
Our check in process seemed… harder then necessary. The front desk could see our reservation but it took awhile to get us checked in and it seemed like there was an issue. What ever the issue, it was eventually resolved. Our room key fit only the knob and not the deadbolt. The knob lock is a push button lock and doesn’t feel secure. That being said, I never felt that someone would break in.
Our room was on the second floor lake side. The room was decent sized and clean. It’s nothing fancy and was fine as a place to sleep as we spent our days on the lake.
Breakfast options were: cold cereal, tiny muffins, bagels, oatmeal or an apple. Coffee, hot coco and juice were available. …. Pretty disappointing bit better than nothing.
The party store is super convenient for drinks or ice and the ice cream shop was excellent… with great service!
The grounds were well kept and the lake is very peaceful.

Sad sad place, bar was never opened even after they advertised on their Marquee .... dirty grounds, smelly rooms & front desk older staff likes to eat her sandwich while talking with her mouth full... look at the cameras Blackburn.... you've done nothing for Cadillac...GO ELSEWHERE

We felt at home here with the clean, fresh smelling, and up to date motel. There breakfast was small but everything was good. Also they were more than willing to get us an iron and ironing board for us to use!

I was a little hesitant to book this room. It's no longer the Cadillac Sands, it's now the Cadillac Lake Resort. Apparently, it changed owners a couple years ago...and they did a huge renovation. Everything is freshly painted, new carpet, and flooring. I guess they bought the restaurant next door and updated that too. I don't have anything negative to say, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was tasty. Nothing big and fancy, but updated and clean. I would recommend the hotel. It's right on the west end of the lake. It was nice to wake up to a beautiful sunrise across the lake. I'm glad I didn't listen to Tripadvisor for once. We were pleasantly surprised.
