We rented a two bedroom cottage with a loft for a family of 7 people. We were able to fit comfortably. Just to note, the loft area is very small - we had three children 12 and under up there and I can't imagine them fitting comfortably if they were older. The cabin was clean, but worn and dated. It came stocked with necessary cookware and eatery and if anything was missing, the front desk was happy to replace it. The 3 pools were smaller than I expected and it was difficult to social distance during the day when they were crowded. It was much better to swim in the evening. It was about a 10 min walk to the beach from our cabin which was really nice. The mini golf course and aerial ropes course were great amenities that we enjoyed. The staff at the ropes course were very friendly! I was disappointed to see the amount of people who speed through the campground on golf carts. We observed many near accidents while sitting on our porch.

Great place for kids to ride bikes and have fun. BMX trail, basketball court, pools, wilderness course. Problem we had was we rented the 2 bedroom loft cabin. Second bedroom with the twin beds, tell me how you can get large kids in there? you can't move the bed frame to allow them to get in... So my daughter moved in with me, the boys had to share the loft area. What I paid for I did not get to use. The kitchen needs more counter space and who can put their food in the cabinets when your 5'7 and you need to be 7 feet tall to reach them? no foot stool could be found. I broom would have been nice for the sand and food crumbs for the boys. Since we did have a mouse that came in at night. I had to clean up the droppings.

We were not staying here but instead paid a very reasonable rate to use the Adventure Course. Had a two hour reserved time. The first 20 minutes was getting into gear and getting instructions. There were three staff working....all were older and experienced. Me and my sons (9 and 13) did the lower ropes course first.....plenty challenging for me! Then my oldest and I did the zipline course. Youngest was not old enough (need to be 10), so he did the higher ropes course. (He did get to a standing zipline-type ride as part of his course). Every part of it was awesome! Took some strenuous work to complete it all but not too bad. My youngest was having a bit of an equipment issue (one of his hooks was stuck in place). He yelled for staff, and Kaitlyn came right up to him to help. Then she stayed right with him the rest of the way...provided dad with alot of relief! Safety here is excellent. We all highly recommend this activity and park. They allowed my wife and four year old to use the playground and pool while they were waiting for us. The park is beautiful and looks great. (Only negative is the train going by). We will be back!

Ok first people at office were very nice, how ever they were to busy or seemed to busy to help or even try to move my site, if you have dogs or small childern do not stay at campsite t66 there are 4 huge pine trees that drip sap all over camp site, you track the sap in your rv no matter how hard you try not to, both my dogs have sap in there hair. There is no grass on this site, none of these site a premier, my site didn't even have a picnic table I had to call and request. Also this site is surrounded by people that pay for all year and treat you like crap because your not a local, there is no quite time people are drunk and loud all night. My son is 18 with a driver license but couldn't drive a rented golf cart, but if you own your own it's ok if your 12 and drive so many double standards. A premier site should have a level site, a nice fire ring some sort of patio, some grass this had none not worth 100+ a night. Also the camp store sucked.I hope this helps any questions ask me.

Upon arrival we were assigned a site that did not fit our camper so we had to take a ride in the golf cart with staff to assess if we could fit in the only site they had to offer. We managed to fit the camper only, no room for our car. No grass on the entire site. Feeling disappointed I went to talk to the office staff to see if they could offer anything for this mix up. Duffy was lovely and explained the problem was due to an error in their system that did not save the length of our camper and therefore assigned us to a site we would not fit. Okay, I now understand how it happened and she promised me the manager would call me later that night when she returned. No call. I go up to the office the next day and am told there’s nothing they can do and we should’ve paid $35 to lock in our site. I don’t care what site I’m on but I want to fit on it with the car. The awning extends right to the road. We’ve been here before and we’ve always enjoyed our stay but this will be our last. Plenty of other great campgrounds nearby. Just looking for an acknowledgment of their error because it’s pretty painful to have paid $513 for a premium site to basically camp in a parking lot with no grass or room to park the car.

Hi cryOrk, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry that your visit did not meet expectations this time. When you book a site with us, you have the option to lock in your location selection. Or if you would like to save a few dollars--or safely indulge your sense of camping adventure--you can leave the site unlocked and be assured of the same selected site type, with the site number revealed at check-in. Some sites have grass; others (particularly in high-traffic areas) are stone. The overflow parking area is conveniently adjacent to your site, and we checked to be sure your awning was not too near the road. All of our sites can accommodate rigs of up to 50 feet with room for slide-outs. We are pleased that you have enjoyed your visits in the past, and we hope that you took advantage of our many amenities and still had fun exploring the Outdoors.

I stayed at this campground several times (6) before it changed owner and I've always been satisfied except for my last stay last week.

Loud noise until 1-2am. I made a complain the second morning as it was quiet the first night as it was raining. It was worst the next night. The young lady at the front desk only offer her apologizes. They prefer to pack their campground and cash all the money they can without even respecting their own rules. Quiet time is 11pm to 8am. Even after 2 notices, they let the group of young people partying. 100$ a night for a tent site without being able to sleep...It was the last time for me.

My family visits this camp ground yearly and we love it. We came upon it accidentally a few years ago when the place we planned to stay was full and we are so glad it worked out that way. The pools are lovely , the playground is fun for the kids and the staff are amazing . We stayed here specifically because of the fun interactive activities they offer like Christmas in July and trick or treating. We will be back every year and highly recommend this place .

Quiet large campground close to Old Orchard Beach. BMX track and Zip line activity on site. We walked to the downtown pier area. Restaurant and ice cream store nearby! Short ride to Portland! We would definitely camp there again!

Not what it used to be. It has been slowly going down hill and this will now be our last trip. Bathrooms gross, site wasn’t clean when we pulled in. This place used to be cared after and had family friendly rules but still allowed for fun. Now it’s become a circus. Was fun while it lasted but time to try new places for our two OOB trips a year.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Michael. We are sorry that this visit did not meet expectations. We appreciate the feedback and would like to follow up. You mention a site and include a photo of a cottage. Did you reserve more than one location? We apologize for your inconvenience. We can assure you that our staff cleans the bathrooms regularly; holiday weekends, however, are very busy, and it only takes one guest to leave hair in the drain or sandy footprints on the floor. We take your concerns seriously and will continue to make improvements to provide our guests with a great Outdoors experience.

These so called public relations people at this campground were horrible.
We booked a week. They wanted us to sleep next to the road, a bathroom, an office .
When asked to move us. They said no way.
My friends had four sites.
They were lucky, next to the maintenance shed, the commuter train tracks as well.
CSX goes through a couple of times a night. Just so you can hear that whistle at 2and 4 am.
I visited my friends several times. The full service sites all around them never filled up till after the 4 th of July.
So, we could have been relocated next to them, across from them and so on.
The staff is lazy, rude, terribly unprofessional.
We went down the street to another campground for 120 dollars less than wildacres. No train , no maintenance shed, no rude staff.
This corporation needs a new manager. This one is just plain lazy and dumb.
