We were two couples when we visited this property. We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Except for the fact while we were reaching resort from the airport initially we had to wait for the pick up steamer for more than an hour and then our steamer got faulty mid of the way and then we were shifted to a new steamer. This wasted a lot of time for us and we reached the resort by 6:30 PM, which wasted our half a day.
Listing down my good and bad experiences:
Good: Resort has very good service Food was awesome They assign you individual waiter and he is responsible for you till the end of your trip. Water bottles in the room were free, you just have to call the reception and they will give you bottle. Water was also kept near the common area and you can have that. Snacks and drinks are available if you are on all inclusive package. Resort has excellent beach around and crystal clear water. No other property is very near by and hence the water around is very clean. The rooms were awesome, we stayed in beach cottages as well as water villas. Our water villa had a small glass at the bottom and we can see water from there, but not all villas has that. There are some or the other events going on around every day, it may or may not be too good. We were on full board package but for a day we took all inclusive package at the resort itself and with a very nominal charge.
Bad: None of the rooms we stayed had bath tubs which was not expected. You have to carry your own snorkelling kit.. None of the water sports are complimentary. The beach towels provided to us were not very clean, it may also be due to the fact as it was rainy season when we visited.
Overall we had an awesome stay at the dreamy place. I would always recommend everyone to go there once. I would certainly love to go back there.

Its both mesmerizing and memorable as we had a visit first of its kind to Beach island and that too post covid in the month of Nov to celebrate birthday of my wife and for a pre-celebration of our 1st anniversary. We had booked thru Travel Triangle, though it may or may not be the best deal , but the coordination and support by Travel triangle was best. After we reached the island, Ms. Suba welcomed with a huge smile (though not visible thru the mask, but the eyes were joyous) She quickly did all the paper work and escorted us to the lunch area. Then took us to our room. We had 2 very supportive room boys (Azheem Ali and Visham) , very warm and very friendly. They decorated our room for celebrating birthday. They cordinated in arranging a decoration of the dining table as well. And they also helped us click our couple photos, which was absolutely a great gesture towards the customer. Even they denied to take a tip. Coming to the resort feedback. The island is a small one but full of corals/reefs to enjoy. You may just snorkel arnd either with the kit or like us with our own swimming goggles, we loved it. Food is nice, but they could have provided more sea-foods. Both the bars provide excellent service, no 2nd thoughts to your demand, the bar even gave us hot milk when asked for. The room which was allotted to us was the last water bungalow and gave us feeling of personal space without any disturbance. Tip: You may opt for AI plan instead of a full board and carry your drinks to your room

We nad a wonderful stay at Adaaran, it was at the end of October so there was only a few other guests, the resort was quiet and peaceful. They take very much care about COVID safety procedures. The island is rather small, so the resort is private and cameral. The island alone is beautiful with its nature (trees and wonderful animals!), beaches and unbelievable blue water The food was delicious although we did not have a huge variety to choose from (there were literally 7 people here during our first few days so there had to be some optimization I assume) And the staff!! I don’t know if we have ever met such nice and helpful people. All of the staff was so nice, smiling and helpful! Special thanks to our Vishaam for keeping our room so clean (for example change of sheets and towels every day), for his towel art (crocodiles, monkeys, swans and many more, we were literally excited every day to come to the room and see what was waiting for us) and the beautiful handmade gifts made from coconut leaves! Huge thank you is also due for Azheem who hs organized a birthday surprise for me - tens of balloons, towel cakes, flowers and Prosecco in our room (and dinner table) Also thanks to out wonderful waiter Nazim who always made sure we had everything we needed at every meal! Of course everyone who worked in the restaurant was kind and funny (especially remembering we didn’t like onion in our salad) Shark trip - awesome!! We arrived at male airport and had to wait about 1 hour for other guests to arrive then was taken to our water taxi, which took 45minutes. We arrived on the island and was greeted by Roshan from guest relations, he was brilliant throughout our stay helping us sort our upgrade and any questions we had.
We stayed for 2 weeks, 5 nights in a beach bungalow ground floor room 135 I would say it was the best room out of all the bungalows, it was very light, very clean and a gorgeous un interrupted view of the turquoise water. We had pre arranged an upgrade to a water villa, we chose to stay in one of the newer villas room 429 They are furthest away from the island but more private. They room was gorgeous again spotless and the view from the bathroom and bedroom where amazing. The difference between the older and newer water villas are, the older ones have a glass floor but are pretty dark inside and not much privacy with people walking passes and other villas can see you on the deck. good point is that they are just a few steps from the bar. Newer villas are at the other end of the jetty and are totally private.
Aruna from guest relations was always on hand and always smiling and there to help. On our last day after checking out we had a late flight and was over the moon when Aruna Arranged for us to keep a room on, this room was on the opposite side of the island to our beach bungalow, room 112 (water sport side) most of the rooms on this side of the island are dark due to thick vegetation but had the better beach with no broken coral. Food was amazing it has to be the best buffet restaurant we have ever been to, so much choice and all cooked amazing, from lamb chops to several types curries to sushi fabulous. Another great plus point that we loved was that your table in the restaurant was yours for your entire stay. Spa was great we went twice as they gave some great offers, the girls are all amazing. All the staff where super friendly and always on hand to help. We can’t wait to return. The only time we wore shoes anywhere was on the jetty going to and from our water villa as the jetty gets super hot during the day, so pack light.
Entertainment in the evening was a 2 man band they where pretty good then there was a disco until about midnight. A Huge shout out to our room cleaner Saudoon , our waiter Nishaam and Ali Azeem house keeping Roshan and Aruna guest relations and to everyone one else that made our holiday amazing. We will definitely be seeing you again thank you

We visited this hotel during our New Year’s holiday, it was amazing! We were staying on water bangalow, and had best views fishes every morning, sharks going around..superb experience! Cleaning man Abdulla that cleaned 405,406 our rooms was always friendly, asking if we need our room to be cleaned, always leaving our rooms super tidy and clean and with cute surprises on the bed with flowers! The next thing we really enjoyed was SPA services we went like 4 times while staying here, the receptionist is very kind, and all the Indonesian ladies are super attentive and polite, always asking if the massage is okey! Really enjoyed and really relaxed! The island itself offered a lot of water activities, the Belarusian lady working in the water activity section was super friendly always looked for safety, and had our best interest for water activities, and the best thing i liked that every time we came she looked for safety, and always provided us with jackets no mater on the boat doing activity or not.. also, the two guys that work in the water activity were very friendly when we lost our keys they went for looking and helping in the water! Very nice people! Thanks!Third, the island itself was amazing, because it has a lot of marine life in the sea and in every corner you will find some new discovery. Next, food section could be better, because main food was Indian which was the only thing i ate and liked all the time, but was lack of variety, as for tourist i would think they would have some burgers,fries, pizza as holiday u want this type of food (especially if is all included) so it seemed like we had to eat same thing everyday.. which was not bad because Indian food was good, but quality of drinks and food could improve for sure.. however, our waiter was very nice Hassan (405;406) he was very polite, fast and friendly with us really nice person, and always made sure our table was clean. Finally, we had great experience in this hotel and really enjoyed and going to miss it for sure, no bad words! Definitely recommended if you are looking for small, active, but relaxing island!

It’s an amazing place. Pristine and beautiful, we loved everything about this place. The staff was very helpful (special mention: Mr Arun). A table is allocated on the first day for dining which is great in view of covid safety protocol and you also don’t need to search for a table every time. A waiter is also allocated to the table and he is always around, ready to take away used plates and serve drinks (our table was allocated to Zahir, who was excellent). Would suggest to go for an all inclusive package, even if you are non alcoholic, it feels wonderful to have chilled mock tails/juices/ hot tea or coffee while watching the sunset. For water bungalows, request for one with a glass floor (only few bungalows have it, allocated on first come basis). Food was excellent with a lot of options for vegetarians (like idli/dosa/Upma/Uthappa/oats/khichadi/breads, fruits etc, for breakfast, Indian style sabzi like paneer, soya, bhindi, aloo, gobhi, veg rice etc) and for non vegetarian it included eggs, bacon,pork, lamb, chicken,turkey, fish, crab..every meal something different. Dessert was cakes, fresh fruit, ice cream etc. If there is a special occasion like birthday, honeymoon, anniversary etc they do complimentary bed decorations and give cake and wine. There are various activities like snorkelling, diving, dolphin watching, spa etc which are paid activities. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely love to go back!!

One of the best experience of a resort getaway until now. Since March 2020, due to the corona haven't been able to have any kind of thing called a holiday. Myself ,daughter and a dear friend decided to visit Rannalhi for a much needed break. Made our booking through" Moodhu holidays" and we set off . The best thing about the resort was the excellent staff service. Roomboy Vishaam, Housekeeping, Ali ( Ayya ), Restaurant manager Didi , F & B , Lirar, Waiter Zahir, are some of the names i would love to highlight as the service they provided were beyond awesome. I cannot even put into words the way they made us feel. As a mother, to see immense happiness on my child's face due to these incredible people, who made her soo happy with their service, just made the trip absolutely perfect and memorable. The room was well equipped, extremely clean with a lovely view. We loved the fact that the rooms were close to the beach. It felt like a private beach. The food was delicious. Waiter Zahir made us feel very welcome. Ayya, housekeeping on the other had made sure that everything, related to service, whether it was getting our wet clothes clean and dry, or weather we had extra delicacies in our rooms, it was all done to a level that we did not even expect. We were beyond happy when ayya gave us the opportunity to visit the water bungalows for a photoshoot that we wanted so badly. We got to experience a stay at the beach bungalow as well as a cute little surprise. On the F&B side, Didi and Lirar made sure that we had it all even more than we could stuff into our tummies. Above all , we being Maldivians, it was sweet how they offered us Maldivian's favorite after food delicacy, the arecanuts :) The best part was the dinner at the beach which came as a huge surprise. It was purely a sweet gesture making the trip even more memorable. With all these lovely surprises, and service, overall the trip to rannalhi turned out to be one of the most memorable, resort trips so far in Maldives as locals. Would love to return again and again.

Currently here and our stay so far has been incredible. We were greeted by the very welcoming Roshan, who straight away informed us of all the rules, amenities and facilities and gave us welcome drinks upon arrival. The resort is beautiful too.
We are allocated the same person to clean up and he is a lovely 20 year old gentleman who does a great job of maintaining our room - on our first night he used fresh flowers and leaves to decorate our room to give honeymoon welcome.
We opted for the all inclusive package which meant all 3 meals are included where you eat at the same place called Waterfront Cafe, served buffet style with plenty to choose from, cooked fresh daily. This includes drinks too. You can even choose from the a la crate meal for additional price if you want a change. One thing I am loving is we are also allocated the same table and waiter all week. We have been given the lovely Lirar who is a very fast and attentive server - he is so friendly and on our first night he gave us a complimentary ‘happy honeymoon’ cake and second day offered a complimentary candle lit dinner! The service is amazing, cannot fault it - thank you Lirar for making all our meals pleasant so far :).
So far it’s feeling like paradise.

Beautiful place to visit and decoration The waiter who serve is very kind and do talk to customer to understand what is their requirement and what they need and serve as per the necessity. The Ambience is very good. The decoration made at room was very beautiful Just by using the dried flowers, leaves.
We came for a honeymoon trip but was surprised to the arrangements we saw and the food here along with the service offered by the waiter and the head Liraar with all his tricks on the table
I would really recommend the resort for the people whom I know who would be traveling to Maldives
Just for a clear reference I've given name details below. The beach is maintained well And so the table cleanliness. The waiter pick up the used plates soon after its done and make sure the table is clean and so the floor by wiping it regularly

Okay let's get the negatives out of the way first. It's not just mossies that bite! Beware when sitting on the Rattan seating, especially on sand as the ants will get you if you rest your arms on the sides. Take care if walking off path as the low tree branches hurt! Right that's that out of the way. As soon as you get to the resort you are made welcome by all the staff, you are given a quick tour of the island and everything is explained, mealtimes, activities etc. You will have to wait until 14:00 for your room but this is because the clean between guests is very thorough as you will probably notice during your stay. We stayed in a standard room which was great. They have thought of just about everything you could have forgotten to pack, including toothbrush! DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE WATER! There is a lengthy explanation on the wall of the bathroom but just to say it's likely better than the tap water in the UK.
The room boys (still not liking the term but...) are incredible. Everything is done to a very high standard and you will always find your room has been visited by them twice a day. Towels are changed every couple of days, and you will receive clean beach towels every morning. Do not waste luggage space on bringing any! The food is fantastic, with a wide selection of choice every meal, be aware that the scrambled egg is cold, but they do a mean omelette for breakfast. The waiting staff are very attentive without being overly so and always polite and curtious. The space you save on not bringing beach towels should be used for snorkels. You can buy them there but at 99USD you're going to want to buy before you fly. The sealife is spectacular and will keep you entertained for days. The beaches are swept for leaves and rubbish every morning and are beautiful with plenty of sunbeds. Almost forgot the Aircon and safe in the room is included in the price so no additional costs there.
So to sum up. Considering this is a 'budget' resort I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone. We've had a wonderful 10 days here and will be sad to leave later this afternoon. 10/10 for all the staff. Hope to come back again.

The older water villas are the ones that have a glass viewing panel in the floor. We contacted the island with our request for this. We had to stay one night in a newer WV without the viewing panel and then moved the next day.
There are more places to choose from in the Rannalhi area.
