Stayed for 10 days in June. Tricky part is booking 90 days in advance each year because of how popular a full service site is. The campground is neatly organized, with some sites smaller than others. The power/water/sewer system worked well, and the shower house was neat and clean. The hot water for the shower was either scalding or just right. Good location. Somewhat quieter than the other sites. Frustrating part was our miscommunication with each park staff who told us we didn’t need to replace our post registration (after heavy rain damaged the original) but the next daily inspection we were required to put our vehicle paper on the post. Minor inconvenience. We may stay again, if we can roll the dice and get a good site.

Room Tip: June is quieter, mostly seniors other than the Father’s Day weekend which is busy and noisy.

Great place to play and stay. Our group stayed at beaver Creek, we stayed across the road at elkwater. Beaver Creek was mu favourite.
Both are very clean, well maintained amenities and lots of things to do....hiking trails, beaches, playgrounds, kids programs and the views are amazing

We have never visited the Cypress Hills before but came here for a family function with 4 other campers. The sites are large and well spaced, easy access for backing your trailer and very nice firepits. Lots of walking trails along with good lake access. Wonderful place to stay, definitely worth the money.
