Siesta Key Beach Resort and Suites garners appreciation for offering a vibrant atmosphere, underscored by live music and entertainment at their Tiki Bar and pool area, although a few guests find it noisy. The hotel's prime location is a highlight, with the beach, nightlife, and dining options conveniently nearby. Many guests commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the resort's overall cleanliness and well-kept rooms. While some guests mention compact rooms and quality concerns, the value is generally praised, thanks to the resort's cleanliness, affordability, and an array of amenities like beach gear and a family-friendly pool.

Excellent stay right in the heart of everything on Siesta Key. We could hear live music every night as we lounged in the pool/oasis area.
The new owners have clearly put alot of thought and financing into making this a great place to stay for anyone, but especially families or people wanting a quiet, relaxed place to stay.

We rented a studio that was directly off of the pool area. It was fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, 2 burner countertop stove, pots, pans, dishes, 2 loveseats and a brand new, exceptionally comfy king bed in the adjoining bedroom. Each room comes with the free use of beach chairs, a cooler tote, and beach towels. They even have a small laundry room on site - no charge - just bring your own detergent (or buy some at the market conveniently located 1/2 block away).

Of note, the front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and Matthew especially went out of his way EVERY time he was working to make sure we had everything we needed.

HIGHLY recommend this place. You can't beat it for price, cleanliness and location. We will definitely go back!!

Thank you so much for the awesome review. I am so lucky to have an amazing team who truly care about our guests. I just ordered a few new items for the rooms - studio and above- including toasters so that it is more family friendly and affordable. I hope to see you this summer!

We were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff! Check in was easy. The outdoor Tiki lobby had games for the kids to play while they waited for us to check in. The code to the door was fabulous as we didn’t have to keep up with keys. One of the best parts was that the resort fees cover access to beach chairs, a cooler, and beach wagon. We also enjoyed the bikes! The location was great and within walking distance to everything. The pool was wonderful and clean. Our room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing that we could recommend they could improve would be that the floor in our room was shifty (But new) and the room smelled Musty- perhaps recently had a water damage that’s been attempted to be repaired? We bought air freshener which helped- so wasn’t worth complaining about- but definitely something that will need fixed.
Overall, we were very happy with this rental and would recommend this location to anyone visiting Siesta Key.

Stayed two nights in this great location. Location at one end of downton area was perfect to sightsee the entire town. The pool was nice and not crowded but the beach was excellent. The $35. nightly. resort fee which included beach chairs, umbrella, beach cart and towels plus the free use of bicycles was well worth it. There was a outdoor bar next door to the hotel with good food and live music but amazingly our room almost adjacent to it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful especially two sharp answer guys, Forest and Jonathan. I would definitely visit again.

Prior to our stay we were familiar with the property because family stayed here. Seemed good. Upon checking in the first thing I noticed the floors were sandy. Like they weren’t even mopped. Behind the bathroom trash can there was pieces of trash left by the previous guest. So it wasn’t even moved to clean the floor? The bathroom drawer had MANY mouse droppings in it. There is no daily maid service, have to ask, and if you do they only bring you coffee pods. Don’t make the bed or change the sheets. The daily resort fee covers lifesavers (candy), beach chairs and cooler in each room and 2 beach towels (which cost $5 tops) and if you ask for any more than two it’s an $85 deposit. There’s no chairs or seating outside the rooms, apparently it’s a Florida state law. Note there are 2 or 3 rooms by the pool that do have chairs by door. At the pool area where tables and chairs are is a 10pm curfew STRICTLY enforced. There are no smoking signs all of the grounds so if you do smoke prepare to do so in the street. I travel to Florida 5x’s a year and 1 of my favorite things to to is sit outside my room and enjoy being down there.
Two stars because the beds are good and the excellent location.

Hi Crystal, I'm sorry your stay was not up to your expectations. We do clean the rooms- but we will not touch your personal items. If we did then you would have an issue with that. The coolers are $55 as are each chair- please feel free to look them up (Arctic Zone and Tommy Bahama or Rio brand). The snacks, water bottles, bicycles and beach wagons are also well worth the money. No smoking on property- I am proud of that! And 10p curfew to follow the town ordinance? I absolutely stand behind that as well. And you can read the fine print of the 3rd party you booked through at look at our website which states it front and center.

Overall a very great stay!! Great location, one block from a quiet section of Siesta Beach and within walking distance to dozens of restaurants and bars!

We did have issues with noise as the walls are extremely thin and our room had a door connecting to the neighboring room that had a 2 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. So for three nights we got to listen to the spring breakers next to us yelling and blasting music in the wee hours of the night. And as hotel management leaves at 9pm there was nobody to call to make aware of this while it was happening.

Another issue we noticed was the overall cleanliness. Over the course of 5 days we never saw anyone clean the pool or the hot tub. We saw bandaids, paper and other debris floating in the pool the entire time we were there. There was also a thick layer or green scum on the hot tub walls which was a little discomforting. Housekeeping is also by request, and they don’t come until after 3pm, which happened to be the only time we were ever in our room so we never had cleaning done. They do supply the room with a broom to sweep up sand but the broom in our room was stiff and bent and basically impossible to use which was unfortunate.

Overall though, a great vacation and the location of the resort really makes it worth it!! they are going through renovations so we hope to return and see some improvements.

Good Morning, The feedback- thank you for the feedback, both good and bad it helps us grow. I did verify with the pool company and their (required) sign in sheet that they were definitely there. We have the pool and hot tub serviced Mon, Wed, Fri every week. I will have my groundskeeper make sure the pool gets skimmed daily. Good feedback on the brooms- I have not had any and I will take a look at them. We do have to get all rooms ready for arrival 1st so at this busy time of year it is after 3p, later this summer it can be much earlier. I really appreciate the time you took to write the review and I hope to see you again.

Mixed feelings on this place. This is my 2nd stay here, this time for 9 nights. The pool area is nice, however needs to be better maintained...should be vacuumed daily. The front desk young lady is so rude...we affectionately named her the ice natzi since we had to fight for some ice in our cooler on a daily basis, the best comment I received was when I asked her about housekeeping, “didn’t you read the paper we left on the bed?” I had to just laugh, no I didn’t I got in at 11:30pm and why wouldn’t you just explain at that time what the policy is? But hey she’s young and clearly not loving her job. I though hmm maybe she’s having a bad morning...Nope it was the daily disposition.

The room itself was fine, the bed was comfy and the location to the beach can’t be beat.

I do love the fact they give you a cooler, chairs and a wagon to truck your stuff to the beach.

Unless you have children or enjoy noise until midnight, I would highly advise AGAINST getting a “poolside” room. There is nobody onsite to tell people the pool is closed and quiet down after 10pm.

This is our second visit to Siesta Key Beach Resort and Suites. The first time they
were renovating and the pool was not open. We had a pet friendly unit that offered
a kitchen area consisting of a microwave, coffee maker, smaller refrigerator, kitchen table, king size bed and bathroom. The unit was very adorable and fit our needs perfectly. Inside the room were 2 beach chairs and a very comfortable bed including pillows, 2 large screen TV's. The pool is now open very lovely and large. They offer a hottub and restrooms nearby the area. Music plays while you are sunbathing or enjoying the pool. Also laundry is free and open when you want. There is a key code on the door for entry. Daily ice is available water and coffee for the coffee maker. The employees are very friendly and towel replacement is often. The beach is across the street and the Martini Bar and the main downtown Village is minutes away. No car is needed unless you want to travel off of the island. The village offers free transportation if you want to go to Turtle Beach or the other side. We will be back soon.

I’ll start with the positives. The location is perfect and the staff is very nice. The negatives are more extensive. The resort fee baffles me because there is basically a small hotel pool. I’ve stayed at many resorts and this isn’t one. We also had a cooler and 1 beach chair in our room. We could hear every word the people in the next room were saying through the adjoining door. The floors in our room were so dirty you couldn’t walk around barefoot. They ran the leaf blower outside of our room every morning at exactly 9:00 am. Finally check-in is late at 4:00pm and check-out was at 10:00 am. Siesta Key is great but I will definitely try different accommodations next time.

Dear Calob411, Due to our hotel only offering 55 units our resort style pool would be considered a fair size. Please note your resort fee includes beach chairs and towels, beach cooler, bicycles, and snacks. This fee also includes wifi. We do offer beach wagons as well. We apologize you feel that our resort fee inclusions were not considered amenities however we do try to offer more inclusions than most resorts in order to differentiate this fee which does not always offer additional inclusions. We understand our property is not the best fit for your future travels. Please note that we do take our cleanliness concerns very seriously and I will be sure to address this with our Executive Housekeeper immediately. Sincerely, Dani H Hotel Manager

This is the perfect place in regards to location! The newly renovated rooms and grounds were beautiful and very clean. The pool area is beautiful, there are covered areas, lots of loungers, a hot tub and even a hammock. You can't beat the location. It takes just seconds to get onto the beach and you are right at the village, a beautiful strip of cafes, restaurants, shops, and boutiques.
The beach is white, flour-like sand. I love this area!
The staff was kind, but the office was very small and they could only accommodate one guest request at a time. I had to wait on 3 occasions. For no charge, you can use beach chairs, a cooler, a beach cart, and bikes, and laundry. This was something I have never seen at a resort.
If I had any suggestions, the rooms should have an iron, which we needed, and free.
