The Ramada by Wyndham Suites Orlando Airport garners praise for its airport proximity, complimentary breakfast, and shuttle service, which guests find convenient. While the hotel atmosphere is generally considered relaxing and the cleanliness satisfactory, there are mixed feelings about the pool and some find the value lacking when considering service and facility issues. Room experiences vary, with some describing them as spacious yet others reporting them as unclean and dated. Service quality also seems inconsistent, with commendations for staff friendliness contrasting reports of poor communication.

We transferred to this hotel near the airport on the last night of our vacation due to an early morning flight. We chose it based on location, a free airport shuttle, and an included breakfast. The hotel accommodated an early check-in. The room, including bed and pillows, was fine. The bathroom needed some TLC in the form of a new door. An ice machine and vending is available only on the first floor at the very end of a hall and was about as far away from our room as it could get. We ordered dinner delivery from one of the several restaurants in the area and so were happy to have the table and chairs in the mini kitchen to eat comfortably. The tv is mounted to pull out and swivel enabling you to view it from most anywhere in the suite. The sink is outside the toilet/shower room which is convenient if you are with another person. There is a small "pantry" next to the check in where snacks and some personal care items can be purchased. Overall, it was fine for the one night. The biggest disappointment was in the breakfast offerings. Most people would think it was okay but, being diabetic and not a fan of link sausages, there was not much else other than carbs and sugar on offer. I had to stick with lukewarm scrambled eggs. And there were some real inconsistencies such as having a variety of cereal but no milk available.

Our stay was ok. For the price, I was disappointed at the outdated bathroom that was not properly cleaned especially around the toilet. It was disgusting. Overall 3 stars. The BIGGEST disappointment was the hotel front desk staff, Specifically Tania (Tanya?). I explained to the evening staff that we were leaving for the airport before the free breakfast was served and asked if it was possible to get something to go like hard-boiled eggs or muffins etc. He said just ask the morning staff as they are the ones with the key and the ones who set out the breakfast items. I politely asked Tania in the morning after explaining our situation and the evening shift suggestion. She simply said "nah" real snotty-like. No other words. I asked again politely and she again just said "nah". Then she said that she would be putting stuff out in about 45 minutes and we explained we had to leave now and she just said nah once again. NO Apologies, no explanation of why she couldn't or anything. SOOOO RUDE. The hotel was ok other than what I mentioned above but Tania's attitude and communication with us was a complete turn off and for that reason, we felt the hotel is providing a disservice to their customers

We reserved a King Suite for the night to catch our early flight to Orlando. So we really just used the bed, and bathroom, as we had to leave too early to catch the complimentary breakfast.

I like that it is off the main road, so you don't hear the road noises.

The room itself was huge and clean. The hallway leading to the room was a bit musky, but I was pleasantly surprised at the state of the room, and how cold it got in there.

The front desk staff is a bit underwhelming. No "Hi, How are you?" When we walked up she simply looked at us and asked for our name. She gave us our keys and didn't even say enjoy your stay... she didn't say anything to the point that I had to ask if we were good to go. So that could use some improvement considering, ya know, hospitality.

Other than that, no complaints. A good room at a good price for a quick stopover.

My family stayed here this weekend and upon arrival it looked ok. However upon acquiring our room, when we entered the smell was not welcoming and the room was a bit outdated. I asked one of the front desk reps about the smell and was told it’s what they clean with. I’m like ok. So as I opened the closet door. I noticed the shelves were super dusty and looked as if they haven’t been cleaned for a while. We checked the linens on the beds and noticed the pillow cases and sheets were not cleaned and one of the comforters was very dirty . I asked one of the housekeepers if she could come and get new linens and dust, and she was like “ no English “; she claimed she did not understand me. So I went back to the front desk , explained the issues to her and she followed me to the housekeeper to explain the issues in Spanish. The housekeeper’s face looked like she was not happy to replace the linens etc and immediately started speaking in Spanish! At this point I’m getting more upset. So Sat morning, the housekeepers started knocking on the doors at 7:30 am for housekeeping! We had the DND on our door since it was early but we took it off once we left for day around 11am. We returned around 8:30pm to see the room hadn’t been touched . Trash can wasn’t emptied, dirty towels in the same place where we left them and beds untouched . I asked the front desk why hadn’t the room been cleaned while we were out. The DND was taken off the door when we left . So we were informed “ you have to request housekeeping”. My response was are you serious!! Housekeepers were knocking on the door at 7:30 without being requested! So one of the front desk clerks had a male staff member to bring clean towels and emptied the trash and brought more sheet!! (After the fact)The 2 Hispanic female desk reps were very non chalant and almost condescending. The gentleman was more accommodating. I will tell you this, I will never make the mistake of staying at the Ramada Inn Suites by Wyndham at the airport EVER AGAIN‼️‼️🤬the bathroom walls were wet when you showered due to lack of ventilation ,the ac unit was half working and rusted at the bottom.(if it was on 60 degrees it still felt like 78).The sofa should have been on the dump!! It looked like it had “semen stains “🤬I can go on!!! If I could give -1 star I would!! Don’t waste your money or time staying here please!! Beware , skip and PASS🤬‼️

DO NOT STAY HERE. I generally don't write such negative reviews but wow. This is an independently operated hotel under the Ramada banner and Ramada/Wyndham should really reconsider the affiliation. The rooms are in bad shape, non-working phone, sinks that barely drain, uncomfortable beds, horrible lighting, exposed electrical conduit hanging (bare metal, not mounted to wall or floor). The rooms were not very clean and waited two hours for housekeeping to be bring us shampoo/soap so we could shower Breakfast in the morning was so unappetizing that we just had toast and prepackaged cereal before paying for overpriced food at the airport. No restaurants within walking distance. Only plus of this hotel is proximity to the airport although the shuttle ride was pretty harrowing. I drive fast normally but this was excessive (you could hear our bags getting tossed in the baggage area at the back). The two false fire alarms in the middle of the night were the icing. We considered leaving but we're literally here for just an overnight and didn't want the haste of another Uber and dealing with hotels.com who at best offered us a $25 coupon. The hotel is very bad need of renovations. If you read most of the reviews over the last year, many say the same thing. It's really the older reviews that keep this hotel with 4 stars. Legitimately do not stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Front desk person seemed annoyed that I was checking in. Had to go to front desk every day for clean towels and our key had to be reset after returning to our room every evening. They have coin laundry but don’t keep enough change at front desk. One morning went to front desk for clean towel, she told me to ask housekeeping on my floor since they were cleaning, went to housekeeping and they didn’t want to give me a towel because she said she didn’t have enough, after arguing for 5 minutes she finally gave me a towel. When I checked out, I asked for a receipt and front desk lady said she couldn’t give me one because she was working on something else. This place is unreal, I’d recommend extensive hospitality training for everyone at this place.

Customer service was horrible, both receptionists were not friendly and one was quite rude to a customer. I asked for towels 2 times and after waiting 2 hours I went down and had to get my own, they did show up but it was about 30 minutes after I went and got my own. Elevator was scary and acted like it was going to get stuck a couple of times. There was also no shade in the pool area and a light that should’ve been in the pool sitting right outside of the pool still connected to the inside of the pool. Beds are also small and pillows and very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is super conveniently located near the airport, so they offer a free shuttle to and from it which I take advantage of when I have an early AM flight. They had necessary COVID-19 precautions upon check-in which was great. The room was updated and the bed SO comfy. We took the 4:30am shuttle and they even had Express breakfast grab-bags to take that early which was nice. Everything was smooth and the fare was the cheapest in the area. I will continue to stay here when I am flying out of MCO.

We booked this hotel for one night and got a room that smelled terrible, smelled like it was cleaned with some bad chemicals. We got another room that was better but no carpet, old tiles for a floor. The room was clean but old. At the time all phones were out due to a problem with the local phone service provider, spectrum. I will not stay here again. Much nicer hotels near by.

You book the shuttle when you check in! Can fit the suitcases in the back (one per person) and the hand luggage you’d just take in the van with you. It’s very roomy.

The hotel is only a couple of miles down Semoran from the airport so a taxi would not be too expensive. Your cell phone will automatically work in the US once you turn it on unless it is a very very old model and the airport runs a shuttle service - email the hotel and tell them what flight you arrive on and the hotel will tell you where to meet the shuttle driver
