I'll to start by stating we have Hilton Diamond status. We arrived at approximately 2:30 PM and the room type we had reserved was ready. Requested an upgrade the man at the desk said there were NO upgrades. I knew that the hotel wasn’t remotely full due to COVID, I asked again, still NO upgrades. A nice woman who identified herself as the food and beverage mgr said that ONLY the rooms booked had been cleaned, WOW! She also advised me that they had only reopened 2-1/2 weeks before and that the other two large Hilton properties in the Disney Springs area were still closed. I asked if they would comp our parking, she advised she would ask the GM. She called later and said they would comp ½ of the resort fee. We said GREAT! We learned what was not operating & ½ the resort fee seemed ridiculous. Here is what is NOT operating at the hotel, fitness center, store , restaurant, pool bar and the Disney park buses are NOT running. Pool, splash pad, hot tub and tennis courts are open, and you may ask for 2 bottles of water daily per room. To charge $23 per day in resort fees for these few amenities seems ludicrous. We arrived at our 1-bedroom King suite and it was indeed very clean and had a Sticker on the door noting it had been sanitized and no one had entered the room since it was cleaned. The property is really trying. The Continental breakfast that can be purchased for $4 or comped for Diamond or Gold members is a muffin, banana, granola bar & an 8oz bottle of juice. Coffee is free.

Hotel was very nice and even though was not thrilled with paying for overnight self parking at least I knew about it ahead of time. In the morning, there was breakfast set out like self service with no signs anywhere about it. So after getting breakfast and sitting down eating it, a gentleman came over and ask my room number so he can charge the breakfast to my room and that is was $19 and change and it wasn't that good either. Appalling!!

Huge hotel but the room itself is not so fancy. The restaurant for the breakfast buffet was classy compared to other hotel's open casual restaurants. The bed was comfortable and clean. If you will use transportation for each Disneyworld, this hotel would be a good choice. Because they charge the resort fee including transportation, two bottles of water and two cups of coffee in a convenient store at the hotel lobby. And you can reach Disney Springs around 5min by walk via sky bridge at the hotel's front garden.

The staff at this location is awesome and they really make you feel at home while you are there. Parking is expensive, the resort fee is tacked on to the room rate, and the cost of a room is high given its location. The workout facility is limited and not up to par with many of the hotels around. Needs a core unit in the corner with bands, balls, and weights for added workout options. (Hilton St Pete has a new one that is awesome). The pool area is good and spacious enough for some fun afternoons. The rooms are nice but the furniture is tired and needs to be replaced. The couch in my room had no resistance when you sat on it and was uncomfortable. The breakfast staff was great and very friendly. All-in-all a good place but given the facilities my thoughts are that the resort fee is too high for the current state of the property. A movie rental and access to the pool are not worth the cost admission. I did inquire about renovations and they are not for a few years. The furniture wont last that long!!

We stayed in this hotel last December 2019 for our Disney trip. The location is very convenient, close to DisneySprings, where the place for shopping and good restaurants.
We booked the 1 Bedroom King Suite with amenities delivered, however, the amenities are different kind of snack bars, like chocolates, granola, it's not impressive haha. I thought they will deliver us like freshly baked cookies or bread. If you don't like having different kinds of snacks everyday, don't book this room lol.. Our suite is clean, it has small kitchen, dining area, living room. There's no dishwashing soap provided, so bring your own dishwashing soap and paper towels if you like to use the small kitchen.
There's nothing fancy in this hotel, except for the location. This is a perfect hotel to stay and relax after enjoying the different DisneyWorld Parks. They have shuttle service but we didn't avail their shuttle bus going to the park. Their bus needs to go to different hotel to picked up and dropped off the other tourist. We rented a car to save time and go park hopping as we want without hassle waiting the shuttle bus. Parking is not free in this hotel either.
Overall i recommend Double Tree Suites to those who want to stay in Disney Springs Area.

The hotel front desk was very helpful in changing our reservation to a Garden Suite as we wanted to air out the room between the us and the previous guests (due to Covid). We did this by phone with the front desk about a week prior to checking in. When we arrived, our suite wasn’t quite ready and the front desk associate offered us an appetizer or dessert while we waited. He also gave us bottled water and offered the DoubleTree warm cookies. I can’t say enough about this front desk associate, Ben. He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions with calm and patience, conveying a true desire to be helpful. He was exceptional! We encountered housekeeping in the hallway during our stay. They were very nice too and brought us clean towels without entering our room (very appreciated). Everyone was masked and seemed to not only want to protect themselves, but guests too. We’ve stayed at just about all the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd and they all are in a great location. What made this stay at this hotel stand out is the people who work there. In these trying times with some necessary service disruption to protect everyone, they made every effort to provide us with a great experience.

I stayed here 4 nights while I was here on business. I didn’t go to Disney. The location is great if you want to stay close to the parks and Disney Springs as it’s extremely close. The large premium outlet mall is literally 10 minutes away by car. The stay was going great until the third night when a VERY large bug crawled across my bed. To be fair, the hotel handled it very well, however I had to use the Hilton app to chat with them because the room phone had too much static to hear. They came up and changed the linens, blankets and pillows and removed the now-dead bug on my carpet. I asked to change my room but the hotel was full. So, I was offered another room the next day. The problem was my new room was on the ground level and it was completely outdated. The room I originally had was on the 7th floor where apparently the rooms are completely new. That room had modern fixturing, a large chaise lounge sofa, new chairs and dining tables. Ground level rooms have old sofas that are just beat up. The majority of the outlets didn’t work. No USB outlets in the room on the ground floor. The hotel is going through renovations and you know it as soon as you walk in. There is a big black curtain that hides the restaurant (still accessible but not visible) and bar. You can hear construction during the day and late morning. To be honest, the price of the hotel for this stay would have made me call Hilton if I was originally assigned a room on the ground floor. On top of that the ground floor rooms face the parking lot and the bushes do not cover enough of the windows. I had breakfast once in the restaurant and it was ok. For the price of 23 dollars you have to eat a lot or a lot of different things on the menus to make it worthwhile. the made to order omelets were very popular. They close at 10am though and a lot of people didn’t know and were walking in right before closing. If you get the breakfast package or a dining credit, it’s worth going to. I didn’t eat dinner there. There is a market where you can get snacks and drinks etc and it’s staffed and well lit. The hotel did a good job of having directional signage to tell you where to go. One thing that I have not seen at ANY Hilton property in Orlando (and I’ve been to many) is someone in the lobby trying to get you to book a stay that involves going to see a timeshare presentation. She was VERY pushy.

Stayed for five days as we did four Disney parks. All in all a great comfy clean suite that won’t break the bank. Staff was always helpful and courteous. Decent views from where you are. They have probably the best little market I’ve ever seen in a hotel with everything you’d need (or may have forgotten) with toiletries, snacks, drinks (yes alcohol too) and other fun stuff, but here’s the shocker, they do t price gouge there. Sure it’s maybe a bit more than you’d pay at a larger regular store but very reasonable in the whole considering you’re in a hotel and in Orlando at the epicenter of overcharging for everything. Only downsides are you’re last stop on that shuttle route of four hotels so you’re sometimes cramped or full by the time they get to you. They also say they’re on a schedule but it’s quickly apparent that given all the variable of distance to parks, traffic, broken shuttles, capacity, etc that it’s really anyone’s guess when the next shuttle for your park is coming around. We generally didn’t have to wait an excessive amount of time though, but if you’re a flag-drop type person I’d definitely wouldn’t rely on it. But other than that, it was a great stay.

Be advised outdoor pool is not heated. I paid to have snacks in my room each day, but always had to ask for them, which I think if it’s paid for in advance we shouldn’t have had to do. The shuttles to Disney were advertised to run every 30 mins, but we waited over an hour each time we used it.

And their buffet isn't even that great. There is another Hilton nearby that reduces the cost of the buffet for Diamond members, so the daily credit fully covers it.
There are more places to choose from in the Orlando area.
