The location was so convenient! We were a short 5 minute walk to Oceanside Harbor Beach. There were several dining options there, as well as a coffee shop.
The staff was nice and always made a point to greet us. When we arrived a couple of hours before check-in they had a room available for us, which was much appreciated!
The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy, with blackout blinds. We loved the observatory on the 6th floor where we could see the ocean. The hotel is close to Oceanside and Camp Pendleton as well.
Overall, a very nice stay. We would stay there again and recommend the property to others.

Stayed at this property for three nights while in the area for business. This is a gem to find because it is dedicated to service and providing a positive customer experience. The hotel is close to I-5 but there is little to no traffic noise. Staff were all pleasant,and provided very good customer service both in the bar and restaurant for breakfast. They offer a full varied menu, and the food was well prepared and served quickly. They offer a Happy Hour Hosted Reception for a couple of hours Tuesday Evening, and provide food/snacks to go with it. My room was clean, comfortable,and had everything I needed for amenities. TV is located so you can see it while working at the desk, and refrigerator and microwave were included. Bed was comfortable with plenty of choices for pillows. In room AC/Heat worked well and was not overly noisy. This is a well run property and I would stay here again. Don't miss the Observation Deck.

Pleasant and inviting staff. Knowing when to involve staff to fix a problem and having that capability on site is the difference between saying and doing. The Oceanside location is well managed, staffed with balanced and attentive individuals and the hospitality was well rounded.

So I booked this hotel based on the reviews and the closeness to the beach. Well I got into the room and the cabinets dirty inside the cabinets had rust on handles and by the toilet paper. The pillow cases had hair inside it and were dirty. The window seals had cob webs on them and the blinds did not adjust right. Then later on that day I came back to the room they claimed they cleaned and there was a bug crawling on the bed. I called front desk and he saw his self the bug crawling on the bed and decided to kill it just gross!!! Then he put us in another room that was much smaller still with cob webs on the window seals and this time it had a chair that had tears in it the toilet holder still has rust on it and the alarm clock had smudged. At this point I was wondering if anyone really cleans!!! While I was offered a full refund I decided to stay because it was a present to my boyfriend it was his birthday and didn't want to ruin it for him. The discount they offered was on $10 per night which was not sufficient for what we experienced during our stay. I often wondered why everyone was so happy while they stayed here and started wondering whether it was the color of our skin why we got such crappy uncleaned ruins and a slight attitude at the front desk. 🤷♀️

We paid for a room that included breakfast for 3 adults and was about $250 for the night. Wrong! The breakfast is only a select few items and they will only cover 2 meals even though our room is for 3 adults. It also doesn’t include drinks🤣🤣🤣 They charge all that extra money and the breakfast they include consist of 2 French toast and a few pancakes! Otherwise the room was ok, a bit raggedy, wall siding was peeling a bit for the price they are charging. I’ve stayed at way better hotels and for the price I’m sure some of the cheaper motels next to it would be sufficient

A hotel that makes you feel like you’re home. The room service is exceptional, the front desk staff welcoming, and the management very prompt and friendly. If you’re celebrating a special occasion they’ll definitely help you with the celebration with 5-star service. I had roses delivered for Valentines Day and the hotel organized them in a vase and threw in a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to compliment the occasion. The stay was perfect from arrival to departure. Conveniently located to San Diego, Temecula, LA/Hollywood and more. I will definitely stay here again when returning to the West Coast!

To start, when we checked in we replaced in a occupied room. When I opened the door there was a man laying on the bed. When I informed the lobby staff they addressed it as if I was not truthful and had engineering go and check the room. On top of that, she did not even offer an apology. Then when we were checked into another room there was no water pressure and it was like taking a shower and a bird bath. When calling to address this issue she informed us there were no other rooms available and again no apology. She sent up engineering to check the shower and of course there was nothing they could do at that time. Then later called to offer us free breakfast and a few other options for the issue. The stay was definitely not worth over $300 which was the cost for one night. Nevertheless, the general manager contact me the next day and stated that I would be receiving a full refund. I am thankful for their refund and am waiting for that as I write this. Thank you!

We had reserved 2 nights but didn’t get there til late the the day after we were supposed to arrive. When we checked in the lady said she was only going to charge for one night since we arrived late and wasn’t going to charge for the other night. The next day when we checked out we saw that they double charged us.I called and they said that she was wrong and they were going to charge. I don’t know if I’ll stay there again due to being told one thing and then they charged us again. It was very expensive and could have stayed at a nicer hotel for the price.

Holiday Inn Oceanside is a wonderful hotel. We've stayed there several times, and every visit has been perfect! The hotel is quiet and clean. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable, as well. Black out shades, a refrigerator, microwave, workout room, laundry facilities, pool, free and convenient on site parking are just a few of its many amenities. Customer service is exceptional. The staff are warm and personable, considerate and accommodating.

It's corporate, but efficient, non-personable but clean.
I stopped here on a bicycle ride between Orange County and San Diego, and, being halfway, stayed in Oceanside for the night.
The location is good, right off the freeway, and near the harbor, and it safe, with families staying here on their way to/from wherever they are going and whatever they are doing.
For me, it offered what I needed, and likewise, for my bicycle, provided a clean, comfortable room to rest...

The hotel is 8.9 miles from door to door and takes about 15 minutes.
Yes, all rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave.
The regional transit authority is called North County Transit District and their website has a great tool to plan travel throughout the county. Also, there are plenty of Uber, Lyft, and Taxis available.
The Jr Suite has two queen beds and a sofa bed while the executive room has no sofa bed. The Jr Suite would be ideal if you want 3 beds in the room. Hope to see your clients soon!
Hello OceanGoddess27, We don't have any suites with separate bedrooms... Our Jr Suites with sofa beds in them are the largest rooms that we have - they are all contained within the same room. Hope that help!
