We have stayed at this Hampton many times since it opened years ago and each time the experiences have been consistently good. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The room was a nice size with attractive decor and looked as it was renovated in the past few years. Genuinely friendly staff. Breakfast was better than average. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights. Rooms were clean though there are a couple things that need updating - coffee was placed in the bathroom by the sink, water in shower was lukewarm. Additionally, chairs in breakfast area were quite stained. They have signs by elevator indicating that they are currently planning on renovating the rooms so guessing these issues will be addressed. Overall, pretty good stay, staff are/were friendly from front desk to housekeeping. For instance, when we requested soy milk in the morning for breakfast, the staff person seemed willing and eager to have some ordered for us unfortunately we were leaving the following day. (He seemed genuinely bummed that he could not deliver sooner). We also enjoyed the gym in the morning before breakfast and also used the laundry services. Look forward to returning in the future especially given upcoming renovations!

Guest services was amazing. The hotel was clean! I would definitely stay here again. They have a laundry room that you can use and an app that’s gives 5.00 to use. This came in handy as we had to wash uniforms. The lobby has a small snack store and with sodas and water. There is enough parking around the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel, along with several other Hilton brands in Carlsbad. This is probably one of the best hotels to stay at it’s close to Legoland, free breakfast in the morning as if you were going to a buffet at a hotel. The staff goes above and beyond and is amazing

We finally found the best place to stay in the Carlsbad/Legoland area. For several years we have taken our son to Legoland during the last week of December and stayed at a variety of hotels. None of these accommodations were as nice as the Hampton Inn.
They do everything well. The lobby was clean, spacious and inviting. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Despite being across the street from an airport, we did not hear any outside noise. We did not hear any internal noise either. The Neutrogena soap and shampoo were a nice touch! I also liked the fitness center. It was large enough so I could do some exercises before breakfast. Overall, the complimentary breakfast was fine. While the fresh fruit was okay at best, there was a wide selection of other tastier breakfast items.
Finally, the staff was great. We will be back. After years of searching, we finally found the best place to stay in the Carlsbad/Legoland area.

I received terrible service upon checking in to hotel. I heard male check-In staff provide great details of accommodations to person checking in before me. When it was my turn, his words were limited. Only interaction was breakfast is served here from 6-10am. I was not offered same service as family before me. Please note we are a Hispanic family, staff was Caucasian. I felt disrespected, but was not gonna ruin a trip to Legoland for my children. We take many vacations throughout the year and this is the worst service we have ever received. I am possibly going to contact corporate on this hotel. Rooms were okay, could have had deeper cleaning in corners. However our trash was not taken out or room opened by cleaning staff during our stay.

All of the hotel staff was very professional, hospitable and made us feel welcomed.
They ensured that we had everything we needed for a nice comfortable stay, really courteous they help with our luggage, open doors if needed that show really nice professional efficient hotel character we absolutely enjoyed our stay,
Personnel like Chris at Hampton Inn Carlsbad are the reason my family and I keep coming back to this location.

An amazing stay here for three nights, better than expected.The staff here, most notably, Arthur, Sabrina, and Chris were all so accommodating from late checkouts to making sure I am comfortable and fed. One of the few hotels offering a complimentary hot breakfast sandwich and a cold to-go bagged breakfast during COVID. Rooms were clean and lovely and quiet. There is some outdoor scaffolding going on near the pool. The pool is open and the jacuzzi is not as of this date due to COVID. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you all so very much.

Andrew, the front desk clerk deserves a special shout out for his efficiency and friendliness.
Covid protocols were more than what was necessary and I appreciated that being immunocompromised. There was absolutely no noise even though a small airport is across the street. The room had a bathtub and that's always a plus for me with my disabilities. Extremely clean in the entire hotel.
Breakfast was an abundance of hot and cold choices. Not to be disappointed at all!

Everything was wonderful, my only complaint was that the AC smelled when we turned it on. Besides that beds super comfy! Had a small fridge and a microwave. We have a one and two year old and the fridge and microwave helped with warming up their milk and storing fresh fruit in the fridge so that can snack on...as a parent gl huge plus to me!!

No jucuzzi in the room I reserved. There is a pool and the beach was about 10 mins drive.
