Cleanliness is another standout feature, earning rave reviews for its spotless rooms and well-maintained property. Professional, courtious, helpful, on-site owners for 42 years!

Rooms were clean, well provioned, TV channels plentiful. Place was quiet despite mostly occupied. They welcomed us to fill our cooler with ice!
Location was great, a block away from center of old town. And by the way, what a friendly town with very reasonable food and drink prices.

We visited Tombstone in December of 2019, and we were so taken with the old west flavour of the town, that we decided to spend the night. We had no guest reservations, but we called the Larian Motel, and they had a room for us. We had no idea what the room would be like, but when we arrived, we were allowed to look at the room prior to committing, and it was much larger than we expected, as well as sparkling clean, plus it was newly renovated as well. We were happily surprised at how perfect the accommodations were, and the owner was most helpful in directing us to a great place to eat as well. The motel was nice and quiet, and we had a restful sleep on the comfortable bed in our western-named room (all rooms have a western-themed name, which adds to the flavour of spending the night in such a historic setting). In the morning, the owner again recommended a place for us to eat, and he was exceptionally helpful with answering any of our questions.

Don't let looks deceive you. Although the Larian Motel is older, the owner has done an excellent job in upgrading and maintaining both the aesthetics and functionality of the motel. The rooms were in excellent condition, and rather large. Each had a couch as well as very comfortable , clean beds. The bathrooms are smaller , but very clean and functional. The showers are walk in , plenty of room, and you won't see shabby tile . Well done. Amenities are provided, along with satellite tv. Air conditioning works well also.
The owner was out in the parking lot early in the AM , cleaning and picking up trash, visiting with lodgers, and providing bottled water upon request. Highly recommend this motel!

This is a great little place to spend a night or two. Very close to downtown, small, very friendly staff, and accommodating. Even told me to fill my cooler when I left. Rooms are very southwest, wooden ceilings, but have a couch in the room. Nice comfy beds and big bathrooms. Their place does not offer breakfast but there are a number of great places close by, reasonable. Rooms have a frig and microwave and the a/ c is in the back of the room so not blowing directly on you.

Room Tip: Parking is kind of tight near the rooms, they have a gravel area in the middle for larger cars.

The Larian Motel is the place we always choose to stay at when visiting Tombstone. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's just a short walk into town....no need to drive since you're so close to all the saloons, restaurants and shops, with Boot Hill Cemetery just a short drive down the highway....you can even walk there if you want to. The motel has a nice outdoor area with old time rocking chairs and a picnic table if you just want to relax outside with friends and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of Tombstone. Gordon Anderson is a great host and will give you tips on where to get the best dinners in town and places to visit during your stay. The Larian recently underwent some renovations, adding a few new features since last time we were there and the place was better than ever! For the very reasonable rate of staying in quaint, rustic accommodations in Tombstone, you'll be happy you chose the Larian Motel. I'd call and reserve early to avoid being disappointed at finding it all booked up. The "No Vacancy" sign is usually up when we arrive, making us glad we booked ahead of time.

The Larian Motel is the "go to" place we always try to stay at when we are in Tombstone. We've never had a bad experience when staying at the Larian. The owners are super friendly, almost like family, and they go out of their to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are very homey, large, comfortable and clean and most have a mini fridge and microwave, which is all you really need in the little town "too tough to die"! I couldn't even imagine staying in anywhere else. There's a picnic table shaded by a big prickly pear cactus in the center of the property which is perfect for all of us to meet at for cocktails before we walk into town for dinner and entertainment, or in the morning for breakfast. It's just a short walk from the motel to where all of the saloons, restaurants, shops and entertainment are located... so once you arrive in Tombstone and park your car, there's no need to move it....maybe if you want to visit Boot Hill Cemetery, but even that's just a three minute drive away. All the rooms have the names of one of Tombstone's past celebrities on the door, under your room number, like Doc Holiday, Big Nose Kate and Wyatt Earp, so if you forget your room number, you'll remember the name on your door. The Larian Motel is just the perfect place to stay when visiting Tombstone. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Wow!! This is my husband’s 2nd time staying at Larian (my first time). The owners are so cordial and dedicated to their guests’ comfort and satisfaction. The property and rooms are impeccably clean, well cared for, unbelievably comfortable and quiet, with thoughtful amenities including the high end linens, toiletries, towels, mattresses, pillows, decor, etc. The owner enthusiastically welcomed our dog! Make Larian Motel your favorite lodging when visiting Tombstone, AZ!

Me (Aussie) and my French husb stayed at this awesome motel for two nights as part of a motorcycle road trip and the owners were so wonderfully welcoming and accommodating! The room was big, clean and smelling good (super important) with comfy warm beds. They even popped an extra table in there so we could work during the day and allowed an extra-extra late check-out. I really felt like I was staying at some distant relatives place - you, know, ones you actually like. Plus it's a 2 minute walk to the historic Allen st. Would def go back and highly recommend!

Booked based on their reviews and the Larian lived up to them. It's the perfect location, 1/2 a block from the Tombstone Epitaph and maybe 100 yard walk to the Crystal Palace, Longhorn restaurants. Our king size room was huge and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was a little tight and the toilet not chair height but it was very clean and well stocked. They did provide room service which was a pleasant surprise. Proprietor Linda was funny and provided a ton of information on all the sights with maps to go with it. Parking is right outside your room which is a blessing when it rains cats and dogs. Room has tv, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Free wifi and no need to take the car. Reasonably priced and great bang for the buck.

I decided on a day notice to do a little overnight stay. I did a cave tour a half hour away and didn't want to do the drive all in one day. I hadn't been to Tombstone so that seemed the logical place to stay! I had looked at other hotel reviews in Tombstone and most were not good. This hotel was full online but I called and left a message. The owner called me back a little later and they luckily had one room left! It was called the honeymoon cabin something. It was a stand alone cabin with no shared walls to the other rooms. It was super cute and most importantly, clean! It had a cute screened in porch also. This motel was within 2 to 4 blocks of most things so I walked everywhere and could come back easily to the room or my car. Linda at the front office was super nice and helpful! It was almost 7:30 pm when I checked in and one of her first questions was if I ate dinner yet. I had looked at the restaurants online the night before and saw several were open until 9 and assumed dinner was too but she informed me all places stopped serving at 8. Good thing I was told that. I barely got somewhere in time to order. I had a mini fridge and microwave in my room and the ice machine was nearby. My room was not like all the others so I don't know how the others are but the only thing I didn't like was the bathroom was small with a pedestal sink so there wasn't really anywhere to put my stuff to get ready. There was a small shelf higher on the wall but hard to use to get ready. Bed was comfortable too. I would surely stay here again!
