My husband decided to go up in baguio a week before a long weekend of Chinese New Year and the same time alumni homecoming of PMA and it’s the festivity month of Baguio. So all hotels I called were fully booked. So no choice but to stay in Prime Hotel. The staff were accomodating. The room 308 was so spacious but it needs a lot of improvemnt. At the back of the toilet door a notice was posted “If you’re alone inside the toilet please bring your cellphone with you”.

With such good location, this hotel must upgrade itself to higher standards. The room rates are rather expensive. The rooms are not kept at its best. Beddings are not clean. Toilets leave much to be desired. The really plus factor is its proximity to almost everywhere and everything - the downtown Session Road, Burnham Park, Baguio Market, the Cathedral, SM Mall and public transports. Breakfast is acceptable, but it is not buffet type.

we arrived at baguio at 8:30 in the evening we are quite desperate cause other hotels are already fully book due to opening of panangbenga festival. I tried to check prime hotel I was looking for a room that is good for 4 person. they showed me the room they called "annex" it cost 2500Php. we were told that they will fix the room for us. as we enter the room has 2 old smelly bed with smelly linen and 2 pillow without pillow case. I asked the people from the front desk if they have at least diffirent pillow and set of bedsheet they said they don't have extra. hmm HOTEL WITHOUT EXTRA PILLOW and LINEN. another problem is the water supply is to low our rooms window is broken. it's just unfortunate that I don't have the picture here.

We recently visited and reserved a stay for 2 nights and 3 days. (June 13-15, 2024). However, we had a bad experience at the front desk. They don't know how to value loyal customers who are familiar with the hotel's policies, like us. Every time we visit Baguio, Benguet Prime Hotel is our choice, not because of the facilities, but because of the good service they always provide. Unfortunately, this time, it seems the staff have changed. One of the female staff at the front desk humiliated us over the complimentary water they usually give to their customers.
The said complimentary water is typically provided at the time of check-in. If you choose to stay for another day, you will receive this again. We followed up many times for our complimentary water at the front desk on our second day, but they repeatedly told us to return because it was not yet ready. To make a long story short, they didn't provide it until the day of our check-out. When we tried to claim it again, the female staff who was assigned on June 15 morning shift was rude and told us that it is only counted for their customers and has inventory, further humiliating us.
We will not recommend this hotel anymore.. unless they will change and teach their front desk staff assigned yesterday to be more polite and learn how to value loyal customers.

Spent my recent birthday vacation here. The hotel's location is perfect. Very near to all the places i wanted to visit. Also, all of their staff are super duper maasikaso . Can call their housekeeping any time 24/7. Front desk excellent esp Miss Edilyn and admin. Miss Dionicel. Will definitely come back here!

my sister was in baguio for a business trip and they stayed in this hotel..they went out for dinner and locked their room and when they returned an hour later, their room was still locked..when she got in she discovered she lost her LAPTOP, IPOD, JEWELRIES AND CASH...and now the hotel manager won't even talk to her...when she asked to see the CCTV cam, the hotel just told her that they don't record it...

so don't ever stay in this hotel...very bad service and worst security ever!

On the day that we check in the hotel, theres no available room but only on the 6th floor. I have no choice but to accept it because i was so tired at that time and i want to relax. At around 2 am, somebody knocking on my door, and when i open the door, nobody is there! And at that time the phone is ringing also, so i immediately answer the phone and i heard the voice saying room service. This Hotel is very terrible and inconvenient to use the facilities.

The one and ONLY good thing about this hotel is it is really close to the mall, park and church...

the rest........ stinnnksss...

1. Crappy room for 2k a night! Dirty floor tiles, broken shower heater (wires sticking out of the shower heads, you can get electrocuted!)

2. They charge you 5.50 for the first 3 minutes if you make an outside LOCAL call from your room! payphone!!!

3. Awful free breakfast meals! Orange juice is like drinking colored water! Tocino is like 4 tiny cuts and omelet is as thin as my hanky!

4. You can hear footsteps from a mile away in the middle of the night!

5. Bedsheets and pillows are those you see in hospital wards! Even worst!

6. I'm never checking in this hotel again!

This hotel has a very unreliable reservation system. Unlike other hotels, you cannot book your reservation online. You have to call them by phone to work-out the reservation. That's what I did in May 2016 to reserve for 2 separate dates (26th & 29th) in December. I did the reservation 7 months in advance to make sure that I get the right room (family room). They only have a few family rooms. I failed to get this room in 2015 because I did not book early enough. The family rooms have balconies overlooking session road.
Since I had a bad experience (disappearing reservation) in 2015, I decided to call the hotel in August to see if my reservation was still in place. The hotel staff informed me that there's no such reservation. They asked me to whom I talked to when I did the reservation. I had to do the reservation all over again.
To make sure that my reservation was still in place, I called the hotel again in November. My reservation for Dec 26 has disappeared, while the one for Dec 29 was still ok. Again, the hotel staff asked me to whom I talked to when I did the reservation. I had to do the reservation for Dec 26 for the third time. They asked me what time I will check-in. My answer was 4-5 pm.
In the afternoon of the 26th, the hotel called me to confirm my arrival. They warned me that they normally cancel the reservation if the guest does not arrive by 6 pm. I told them that I'm behind schedule and that I will be arriving at around 10 pm. I had to beg them not to cancel my reservation due to late arrival. I did not have trouble during check-in that day.
In Dec 29, I was driving in the afternoon towards Baguio after a descent from Mt Pulag when I noticed 2 missed calls (1:39 & 1:40 pm) from a cellphone. There's no cellphone signal in most parts of that route. I did not receive any text message. I checked-in at around 5:35 pm (arriving 15 minutes earier at the hotel's basement parking area). The front desk informed me that I didn't have a reservation. I told them that they confirmed my reservation 2 days earlier when I checked-out. That's when they realized that my reservation has been cancelled earlier and the family room has already been taken. They explained that the cancellation was made because I did not answer 3 phone calls that they made. I only saw 2 missed-calls made one minute apart. Other employees of the hotel we talked to were wondering why the reservation was cancelled way before 6 pm.
Instead of the family room that had 3 beds, we were given a considerably smaller room with 2 beds and one matress in the floor. We had 3 breakfast coupons instead of 4. There was nothing to see through the windows except for the airconditioning units of other rooms. We paid the same amount (P3,000) for something considerably less. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and was leaking underneath (room # 513).
This is my worst hotel experience. I am sharing this experience so that others will take all necessary precautionary measures when they decide to make a reservation in this hotel.
