We arrived at Baguio at around 4 pm , Saturday, Feb. 22 and went directly to the hotel to rest after a 10 hrs travel from MANILA to Baguio. The first info that I received from the manager is that the room is not AVAILABLE because of some renovations/maintenance...What??? Are they forgetting that its PANAGBENGA , wherein thousands of people from different places will be visiting BAGUIO ?..nice timing....
Anyways , to cut the story short, We didn't get the room that we paid for..
We transferred rooms 3x for different reasons...1ST ROOM (701)Not Park VIEW, Manual Heater and Water Dripping from AC...2ND ROOM-216 ( they said was the upgrade) was OK, but it was a connecting room wherein you can hear the persons in the other room, not to mentioned that they did not clean the room when we requested it .. Yes ,we put the sign on the door before we leave...3rd room -505(they said its Premiere room) - its almost perfect if only the battery of the AC remote control was working...
Worst part? We had to asked for a complimentary discount and late check out, they did not offer any of these for our inconvenience.Stress is the last thing that we expected on a vacation..
Lesson Learned? Always expect the unexpected if you will visit and stay in this hotel.

1. The room is not a suite, just an average room. Refurbished with a plastic flooring, no carpet. 2. Promised free wireless in the room, does not work, has never worked. 3. Picture of Hotel shows greenery, like in the park, but no, just another building along a busy street. 4. On a very busy-noisy street, trucks, loud bikes, sirens and a security guard with a loud whistle. 5. Bath towel, worn with holes. 6. Cup saucer at breakfast was cracked with sharp edges. 6. Front desk not helpful. 7. Only one elevator working. 8. No top sheet, just fitted bottom sheet with a poly comforter. Either too hot with comforter on top, or too cold without. 9. Dining room service inattentive, had to walk to servers to get anything.
We checked out after 2 nights in disgust. Front desk could not print a folio at check out, computer problems.
The good: You can walk to Burnham Park, 5 minutes. You can walk to the Local Market, 10 minutes. Included Breakfast was good with a second cup of coffee. Room was clean.
Although the off season with few rooms occupied, the Hotel was unable to provide a satisfactory holiday for us. The staff is too busy making talk and fooling around to understand that guests are present and need attention, poor staff training and a poor understanding by Management of Hospitality.
"Best view of the hotel is the ones with balcony facing the renowned burnham suites."Read full review
