Clean, efficient, value for money, super friendly, varied dive sites - and safe. I have dived in many places with differing outfits and this is up there amongst the best. Recommended to me on the basis that my friend trusted them to teach his kids to dive, literally with their safety, I did the same; it did not disappoint. We now dive as a family of mixed ability and endurance and this place caters for all our needs. Abdullah and Omar are excellent instructors (with perfect English) and superb and knowledgable guides. Hamza and Zaid are professional, patient and charming too. The variety of dive sites on offer is wide and there is enough for all levels. The lodge itself aimed at the dive market and doesn’t come with all the frills of the 5* fare in Aqaba but is perfect for those who want to dive hard and then chill by a pool at the end of the day. Breakfast and snacks are provided but you need to be able to get into Aqaba for your evening meal. However, this is easy enough to do and there are no shortage of restaurants to cater for every budget and taste within a 15 min radius. In sum, welcoming and well appointed where it counts, this is lodge gem. We find ourselves returning time and again.

A great place to learn and practice diving. Safety is the first concern. It is small and cozy managed by a generous owner, and the staff are very nice and hospitable.

The rooms are very clean and minimal and the pool is nice. You can prepare your food or make arrangements with the center.

This is not for hipsters looking for busy beaches and luxurious lobbies. This is where you make true friends.

As a hijabi i received special pampering from the diving instructors (ya khalti) carrying my equipment and helping me through. It was just as enjoyable to me as the American deep dive student who became my friend.

The center provides gear and transport to diving locations and arrangements can be made for snorkeling trips.

I stayed a week et the dive center so my 10 year old son could do his Padi Open Water course and we could dive together . The staff was very patient and caring with him which makes his first contact with the diving world awesome!!!
The rooms and the pool are very clean and the staff can bend backwards to meet your needs!
The location is about 500m from south beach where you can snorkle.

A really great experience.

I spent 3 nights here at the end of a work trip to Jordan and it was the perfect spot to relax. Omar (the original owner's son) was very helpful and communicative in regards to booking accommodation and diving. I did 4 dives over 2 days and the guides were all excellent. There were divers from a range of abilities (those doing "try dives" and those with open water and advanced certifications) and everyone had their own guide to do dives according to their abilities. Omar took his camera on one of our dives and shared his amazing photos with me.
I hired all equipment and it was excellent quality. The fish life, coral, and artificial reefs are all stunning- it's possibly the most beautiful place I've ever dived in the world! The on-site staff are lovely and welcoming. The hotel is very peaceful, well off the beaten track, and feels a world away from the bustle of Aqaba city, though a taxi is only 6 JD. The beach is a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Omar's dad started this as one of the first (maybe *the* first?) dive centre in Aqaba- though there's a lot of competition now, I would only return to this centre for their care and professionalism.
I traveled there as a single woman and felt completely safe, secure and well looked after. Fellow divers staying in the hotel were very friendly, so there was plenty of socialising by the pool when wanted.
WiFi was good by the pool, but only got it sometimes in my room.
No alcohol on site, but guests can bring their own from local stores.

We stayed at this resort for 5 nights and truly felt welcomed. Omar, the owner, lined us out on all the best dives sites and we were able to pick the places and days we wanted (all within 5 min drive of the resort). Amazing coral and wreck dives! The whole dive staff was super professional and funny. Quality gear.
We loved the location- south beach is way nicer and more woman friendly, and only 6 JOD to get into town. Waking distance to other restaurants close to the beach (10 min walk). The pool was super nice, clean and a fun spot to hang out. Traditional and fresh continental breakfast. And Omar gave us discounted tickets to the water park!! Definitely recommend.

It is 6 years I am in Jordan due to my work and this is the hotel I highly recommend for divers, families and whoever wants to pass a time in Aqaba. The atmosphere and care is great. Long experience as diving centre, so you can trust all guidance for diving. If you never dived, you should try!! Any of the instructors will help you and reassure you. In case you only want to do snorkeling, the best places are very near and you can rent easily the equipment. Hotel is clean and the rooms are very confortable, with big swimming pool. Excellent price/accommodation too.

The hotel is very clean, simple but clean. Probably is the best place for divers in the region. The owner and all of the staff are very nice and friendly. They are ready to help you in every situation. Diving was perfect. The dive guide was super. Highly recommend. If you are not diver you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the place.

Nestled in the desert hill overlooking the sea, this hotel is very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The hotel is relaxing and the staff is super friendly. In the evening, no need to go to town, the chef offers good meals.
But you will love the hotel even more if you are a diver. The equipment is good and the dives are beautiful, original and some are accessible to beginners.
It is better to rent a car to get to the hotel as it is not in the city center.

Very professional, good equipment.
A bit too lax with time, we had to wait for a long time (some people showed up late).
The snorkeling was gook (we wanted it great).
WE could wnjoy also some time at the beach, very nice.
But worth the day.

Sorry so long in answering your question. But all of the dive sites are several kilometers south of town on the S. Beach Highway past the harbor. A short taxi ride.
