The hotel itself is an impressive building, unusual in construction, with numerous pools and bars, a scenic lift to take you up or down to and from the beach, it does end one flight of steps from the bottom. Inside the furnishings are of high quality, both in the public areas and in the rooms. We had a room which was very handy for the bar and restaurant, just one floor up and close to a lift which was never too busy. We had a terrace, with grass to the front, and nearby was access to a pool area which was for adults only.It was ideal for afternoon sun, but sadly we did not see a lot of that, it was often rather cloudy. The fridge in the room was stocked with soft drinks and beer. The bathroom was well appointed and there was always hot water although sometimes you had to wait a while for it. Food in the restaurant was very good, always a great selection, particularly the desserts. Only minor complaint was that it was not always as hot as it might be, I did use the microwave on a few occasions. There was not much entertainment during the day, but always something in the nightclub in the evenings. We were there over Christmas and New Year. The Christmas eve meal was not that much different from the normal fare, but on New Years Eve they really did put on a show. We were in the Grand Ballroom which was lavishly decorated ,tables for ten were equally well decorated and with a selection of nibbles. The meal was served with a delay between courses, there were musicians playing, so you could get up for a dance between courses.Wine was plentiful, the entertainment went on until 4am. The location of the hotel is good, you can walk along the waterfront into the historic part of Side, and outside the hotel there are numerous shops, and here you can get the dolmus to Side or to Managvat which has an excellent twice weekly market. The staff, from the cleaners to the management were very friendly, We could not find anything unsatisfactory and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We stayed here in February 2019. The weather started as mixed but we had some very hot days. The hotel was large, very clean. The cleaning staff were very good and the rooms were spotless. The cleaners worked tirelessly and deserve a special mention. The food was excellent, we didn’t use the a la carte, only the buffet restaurants but I have to say they really were excellent. The chefs are very talented and the waiting staff are very attentive. We are English, there were guests from Germany, Turkey, Russia and England, most of the other guests were friendly. We joined in with the animation team and played darts, quizzes etc it was a good way of meeting other guests. The reception staff and porters were also very friendly and helpful. Most of the bar staff were very attentive and hardworking. You can get the Dolmus from outside the hotel to Side for about 3 lira, you can also get to Manavgat. The preferred currency is euro and lira. The hotel is about 45 mins from the airport and approved £20 in a pre booked taxi. I would definitely go back to this excellent hotel.

Having stayed here in 2019 and thoroughly enjoying it, we decided to return mainly due to the adults only pool, daily activities, the food and of course the staff.
We were not disappointed and a few upgrades including a new patisserie meant for another great holiday.
Once again the staff made our stay thoroughly enjoyable and a special mention to the following:
Murat the food and beverage manager. Always on hand supporting his team and looking out for his customers you could see how passionate he was about his role and keeping us all happy. The spitting image of a young David Ginola as well.
Ismet the deputy head chef. We met him daily around the hot plate and again it was clear he was passionate about the delivery of quality food and took a real interest in us all. See photos that highlight the high quality food presentation and standard. He really made us feel welcome each time we dined.
Mahmut, Arslan and Fuat looked after us either in the main dining facility or the Phasellis restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and towards the end of the holiday they dressed our table with flowers etc to make the dining experience even more pleasurable. It was always great to dine with this team on hand to serve us.
Alexandra looked after us with all activities and especially boules. We opted to partake in this activity nearly twice a day making some really good friends from various countries.
Lastly I must mention the cleaning staff. They ensured our room was always made up and on one occasion added a towel display (see photo) to help celebrate my wife's birthday.
The a la carte evenings were great and we particularly enjoyed the Turkish night; definitely worth booking. the adults only pool with swim up bar was our highlight and the banter by late afternoon with lots of different nationalities was great. The entertainment was really good throughout our stay and I have to mention the karaoke which was really good fun, especially when attempting to partake in Russian and Turkish songs.
Overall a fantastic holiday and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Very beautiful hotel. the food is okay. Some staff need retraining, especially those who have worked longer at the hotel. The hotel's freshly squeezed fruit smoothies are the worst when they mix water in. The front desk is the only place that is tip top. It is important that a responsible person (Tuba) is responsible. The bar in the lobby is perfectly okay otherwise in other bars come people with no experience. in a bar you get your drink in the morning and in the afternoon and the same bar they say we do not serve this drink in this bar. Management must have better control over staff behavior toward guests.

This is our 6th visit to the Crystal sunrise queen,it is like our second home. The hotel it's self is showing its age and needs a lick of paint, saying that we have always found it to be clean,with cleaners constantly but unobtrusively about cleaning. The rooms are cleaned every day,towels changed daily if required As returning guests we arrived back in our rooms after the first day on the beach to find a bottle of champagne on ice for us,we could ring reception for fresh fruit if we wanted it. The food is out of this world,they put on theme nights, there are all types of food to meet all tastes. The staff are all very friendly and eager to help and that goes right to the top with the general manager,who is often seen around the hotel or eating in the restaurants among the guests. Once a fortnight the hotel lays on a special friends dinner for returning with several of the senior managers on hand to talk to the guests.

This was our first stay at the Crystal Sunrise Queen. It has the most beautiful views of all the resorts in the area. The property is a bit old but well maintained and clean. The friendly staff did a very good job. The hotel manager was often seen to ensure smooth operations. On our arrival (late at night) we asked to change the room due to lack of privacy. The balcony was directed to the exterior staircase. Our request was granted the very next morning. Wifi coverage is not guaranteed in the rooms, but it was always possible to find a place with sufficient wifi signal quality outside the room. We really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. Couldn't be better. There were no queues in the dining room and the food was replenished quickly, so we were never short of anything. Maybe I would welcome a complete ban on smoking in dining areas, but my wife and our two friends would not agree with that :-) We used the spa services and they were excellent. I would criticize the access to the sea, which is shallow and full of rocks that are hard to be seen. Swimming was not comfortable. The neighboring resorts had cleaned it up. The hotel would deserve a renovation even if everything worked as it should.

There are certain features of this hotel that make it unique and excellent. First of all, the area is huge. There are many pools, restaurants, bars, and an extensive beach. All running at a very high-quality level. So, the hotel can be full but it is never crowded at any single location. You never wait in line to get some food or some drink. Second is the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful while they are very professional and good at what they are doing. The food and drinks are very good and every surface is clean. The guests are civilized and mostly you do not get disturbed by anybody else. I would like to praise the excellent management skills of Mr. Ali Ucas in achieving this. Like any other guest, we could meet and get to know him as he is always around and making sure that things go flawlessly. We will come again next year for sure.

This hotel is exceptional. We are staying in the Delux Terrace Room with sea view and it serviced daily, very hygienic with mini bar refilled daily. The view is amazing and far enough from the main pool for peace and quiet. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful at all times of day or night. The food is far beyond our expectations with new options for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and presented beautifully as are their drinks. There are daily activities, nighly shows and late night live music. It is definitely a fun hotel and 5 star service and appearance. We plan to come again in the future.

We were at the hotel in June and we were very satisfied. The room (1309) was with a view to the sea and pools, super. Beautiful room, good food-drinks, pleasant service. Customers mainly from Germany. Correction needs wifi, it's very poor. The change of towels is at 17-18, but we came from the beach at 16, could be a longer time. Saunas and indoor pool - super. Every night was live music. Very good music! We're very pleased, and we'll come back.

Lovely stay in a family room - it is a big hotel but it never felt cramped.
Our family room was spacious, had a door dividing the main bedroom to the second bedroom and had a lovely view to the family pool.
We alternated between the pools and beach and always found beach chairs.
Food was delicious, fresh and varied. The selection of salads and cooked meats was fabulous. We loved the on site patisserie as well as the variety of restaurants. We tried the a la carte fish and Italian restaurants which were amazing too - coupled with excellent service.
The location is perfect for enjoying stunning sunsets whilst having dinner. Our holiday felt truly special, also thanks to the excellent and courteous service from all staff.
We chose this hotel as it is within walking distance to the ancient Roman ruins in Side which are incredible and we also enjoyed its shops.
My only recommendation about this hotel is that loud music would be blasting out late morning/afternoon from the main pool which can be heard from the beach. I would recommend limiting the music to just a few hours as it would’ve been lovely to listen to the waves whilst enjoying the beach instead of blasting euro pop sounds.
Please also take rock shoes for the beach as there are big sharp boulders you need to navigate as you get into the water.
Overall we had an absolutely fabulous time and would highly recommend this hotel.
