Kudos to the staff and crew of La Bella Casa, everyone is smiling and accommodating. If you are looking for a low key stay in Boracay, I am good with La Bella Casa!Very near Grotto! Though the roads and some establishment is under constructio...all is ok.

PROS:

1. Very cheap. We paid P1500 per night only (not during peak season) for a room good for two inclusive of breakfast.

2. Great service. There's always a person around whom you can ask for help. You can ask them to assist you with anything! They even microwaved our food that we took out from a different restaurant for free! :)

3. The staff is very friendly plus very efficient. They are all very helpful and approachable.

4. Safety is not an issue. We forgot to lock our room TWICE and we didn't lost anything. Lol :))

5. If you plan your activities (helmet diving, jet ski, etc.) through them, it's much cheaper than approaching the people who organize activities along the beach.

6. They have a generator. There was a time when the power went out (probably because of the strong winds that time) and all the restaurants and stores did not have electricity so we stayed comfortably in our hotel.

CONS:

1. It's a long walk from the main beach and d' mall. We almost always rode the tricycle to get to places and go back to the hotel. The tricycle costs P60 a ride.

2. The rooms are tiny but they're pretty okay.

3. The hotel does not face the beach. It's along a street.

4. No place to hang your clothes to dry. Lol :))

CONCLUSION:

It's not like the other hotels where there is a pool or a bar and a restaurant. They just have all the basic stuff (the rooms have a nice bed, air con, cable tv, clean bathroom, closet, etc.). Perfect for young college couples/friends (barkadas) who are on a budget. But I do not recommend this hotel to foreigners! There are a lot of other beautiful hotels perfect for foreigners along the beach. Lol :)) I also do not recommend this hotel to first time Boracay visitors. It would be better if you know your way around Boracay already before you stay here.

i stayed here for 3d2n, i arrived early at about 10am they checked me in anyway since there was a room available standard time for check in is supposedly 2pm(+1 star rating for that), my first night was horrible as the air conditioning was malfunctioning and in was already late so i didnt ask for maintenance, the next day it got fixed, bedsheet are slightly rough which is not comfortable when you got sunburn, what i really need is a cool, clean room for sleepover and la bella casa was able to provide that. there is no phone in my room so if you need something you need to walk outside at the front desk, also the room is a bit dark and no night lamp/shade. there was lcd tv but no remote, luckily my cellphone got an remote control app, they will provide a tissue roll and a bathtowel and thats it. staff are friendly. there is a common bathroom which is shared among guest and they got water heater which is impressive for a budget hotel, but water pressure is low.

location is not bad either, just 2 minute walk to the beach, and there is a convenient store just 30 steps away.

i would rate this review 2 stars but for P1200 a night, i can share that with another person and split the bill, with wifi and breakfast, but for a budget hotel, i'll give it a 4 star.
pro's - free basic breakfast, free slow wifi, cool room, no pesky mosquitoes, lcd tv with cable.
con's - bathroom a little dirty and smelly, and water pressure for shower is low to average.

I stayed at this small hotel for 4 nights. I made the booking only through text messages and made a one night deposit to reserve. I paid 1,500/night for a room with a double bed.

They took care of arranging for airport pickup in Kalibo (the last time I went to Boracay via Kalibo was in 2003, and I came from Davao, which opened this route this year), the boat trip from Caticlan, and a service vehicle to take us to the hotel.

However, I have to say that it will be cheaper if you can make your own arrangements from the airport to the Cagban jettyport, be it from Caticlan or Kalibo airport - I opted for the hotel to arrange my travel from the airport to the hotel because I wasn't sure what to expect after years of not passing through Kalibo. I made my own arrangements going back and from this experience, I can say that there are accessible, hassle free and cheaper transportation options already present in Kalibo, and making arrangements through the hotel cost me 400 pesos more than if I did it by yourself. If you have heavy luggage with you (like me, since I stayed for 5 days), you can pay porters 20-30 pesos tip to carry it for you to and from the boat.

Once at the Cagban port, you can hire a tricycle for 100 pesos to take you to La Bella. They are located right beside Balabag Church. Ask the tricycle driver to drop you off right across Willy's Resort. A side street with a local police outpost is where the resort is located, less than 50 meters from where you got off.

The hotel is not beach front, so don't expect rooms with a "view" (their rooms have windows though).

From the hotel, it is a very quick walk to cross the main road and come out of the alleyway on the side of Willy's resort to the beach, Willy's Rock immediately seen to the right.

If you are going to Boracay mainly to enjoy the beach, sample the food of the excellent restaurants, and the noisy nightlife, La Bella Casa is a very good choice. Their rooms are clean. You can ask them for new beddings and towels (as often as you need) and to clean the rooms. Since you stay out most of the day, you don't feel shortchanged that you are spending so much for a place to just put your bags, freshen up and sleep at night. You can return to the hotel for a quick shower after your swim and then choose to walk the beach from Station 1 or a 20 peso tricycle ride to DMall to start your shopping and eating adventures.

There is a laundry service right beside the hotel, for 40 pesos/kilo of clothes. A small sari sari store is nearby for snacks and toiletries and is open till 9-10 pm.

we arrive at the hotel june 26 2011, i book this hotel because i rely on the good reviews but upon our arrival we are so disappointed. The owner was so nice and very helpful ( no question about that) but the hotel was not. you have to enter an alley to get in to the hotel and the first thing you can see is the kitchen. they place us next to the kitchen where you can see the staff eating and smell the food they eating. the other room for my aunt was on the 2nd floor just a little bit nicer than ours. we ask for other room but they said that they are renovating the rooms , the paint was still fresh and the cement on the floor was not completely dry. i ask agoda to cancel our reservation and payment but they said we cant cancel it.. anyway we paid it in full and there is no way to amend it. we transfer to another hotel because we are there to take a vacation and to enjoy. im just suggesting that dont book and pay in full , and dont rely on reviews . i just wonder if all the good reviews are real. we just waste our payment of almost 6 thousand for nothing.

La Bella Casa is best for people who prefers to stay in Station 1 but doesn't want to pay much for accomodation. The hotel is located within the quiet residential area just a few meters away from Willy's Beach Club (known for its famous 'Willy's Rock'). A few minutes away from the beach and from the crowded area of Station 2.

Room - Got it for P1300/night. Just enough for 2 people. Comes with TV/AC/mini Fridge. (not bad, right?).

Bathroom - Clean, nice tiles and comes with free shampoo and soap.

Breakfast - You'l be asked what bfast you prefer and on what time you wanted it to be served. Decent and delicious. I like the tocino :)

Location - Going to d'mall/activities in station 2 is 10-15 min. walk, by trike, you just pay P10.00. :) Near Jonah's milk Shake, Grocery store, Isaw vendors, Church, etc.. basically, near everything :)

Tip: When riding trikes, try those with passengers on them so you won't need to pay P60.00 (special). Atleast you could roam around Boracay without spending much on transpo. ;)

Staying in la bella casa was an awesome experience. The room rates were reasonably budget friendly its like home away from home :-).. Service was Excellent and Superb. My friend left his office ID in 1 of the rooms that we rented. Few hours after we left i got an email telling us about what we forgot and they offered to send my frnds ID via LBC-imagined the effort! Perhaps if we stay in a diffent hotel they wont even bother to email/txt us about it but la bella casa did it and we felt important! Not only we miss boracay but also la bella casa. We will surely go back.LaBellaCasa Rocks!

Nice, clean rooms, very accommodating and friendly staff (Manong guard always greets us with a smile even coming back to the hotel in the wee hours of the morning), good breakfast and seconds away from the beach all in a very affordable price... What's not to like about this charming little cottage-like hotel? If you want to stay in Station 1 with a lot more beer money in your pocket, I highly recommend this place.

Husband and I stayed at La Bella Casa de Boracay for five days and they were EXCELLENT. Initially we have my in-laws with us until Wednesday and we have the third floor area all to ourselves. The place was comfortable and beautiful. Very clean and you feel right at home. The rooms are very affordable and the service was fabulous. The staff were all helpful, polite and cheerful. The only downside is their location is a little far (about 15-20 mins walk) to the restaurants and shops. But if you want quiet, affordable, clean rooms and a short walk away from station 1's powdery sands, this is the hotel for you. There are tricycles you can take going around the island if you don't like walking around.

The standard room my husband and I transferred to after my in-laws left was cozy and clean. The breakfast that came with our room was surprisingly good and our family really had a great time with them.

Perfect place for families and barkadas on a budget and those that love taking long walks to the beach.
