The Hotel has very seriously applied all Covid protection procedures on all over the hotel. When you enter the hotel , a thermal camera taking care of your body temperature and direction by professional staff in the Fron Office.

Roms are very historical and comfortable with amenities.

We very enjoyed Restaurants and spend time having lunch and dinner in the restaurant due to a better choice in the hotel.
The restaurant service was very good and the food was delicious.
We all really enjoyed with hotel services.

All museums and historical locations are very close to the hotel.Ayasofya is just next to the hotel and others.

Thanks for your good service.

We booked two deluxe rooms for a one-night stay to break up our flights from the states to Africa. We had previously stayed at this hotel in 2015 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so we wanted to return. We did not realize that the new airport was much further away than it previously was, so that was a bit of an inconvenience, but no fault of the hotel.

We booked airport transportation through the hotel, which was fairly expensive at about 350 euro per way, but it does include a meeting from airport staff upon exiting the plane who will take you on a vehicle (which was much appreciated after a long flight when the walk would have been about a mile in total). They will also take you through expedited passport control and take you directly to your car. The same experience is provided upon departure.

The hotel is an old prison, so it really is a unique experience staying here. It feels extremely private and quiet, which we appreciate. The breakfast buffet is always incredible, and the staff is attentive.

The hotel is always an enjoyable experience and always feels extremely safe. Overall, we would recommend staying here if you are wanting close proximity to attractions while feeling well taken care of.

The Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet, with it's perky yellow fasade, is a unique building in the historic district of the city. This converted prison incorporates the architecture of aTurkish neoclassic building while injecting the quality standards of the 4 C's Brand. Amenities include: luxurious boutique spa, fitness facility with personal trainers, centerfold to the historic district of Istanbul, an interesting prison backstory, eat in a beautifully landscaped garden and enjoy the renowned service of the 4 C's brand.

My guest room was spacious and decorated with an earthly tone palette with shades of green and blue. A dreamy bed was fitted with luxurious sheets and covers, as Turkey is well known for it's cotton. The bath was marbleized with a deep soaking tub and a separate shower. In the courtyard in an atrium-like setting, is the hotel's primary restaurant, Avlu which serves up all food day-parts in an Anatolian menu fashion. I relished a feed of Fennel & Sweet Corn Soup along with an entree of Grilled Wild Sea Bass. Lingo Lingo Bar & Restaurant serves up a selection of craft cocktails and mezze dishes. The rooftop Lounge serves signature cocktails and bar bites along with breathtaking views of the city.

So, if you want a luxe hotel that affords you the privilege of experiencing Istanbul's important attractions on foot, ..............then try the..............Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet.......This Place Used To Be A Jail.

Lovely hotel with a very attentive and welcoming staff. We had rooms on the 4th floor with a view of Hagia Sophia. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold to have tea sitting on our terrace, but lovely view. Room was always spotless with a very efficient turn down service. We had the breakfast package and the Buffet was substantial with fresh eggs, fruits, cereals, pastries, fish and cheese. I am not one to eat fish for breakfast, but it looked fresh and well presented. Dinner was also good. Wish we had the chance to go to some area restaurants for dinner, but after walking 6 miles a day - we were happy to have good food and service waiting for us. Would definitely stay here again.

There are few hotels in the world that make you feel this special, like you are part of history with Hagia Sofia basically as a next building which you can admire from the rooftop bar that has breathtaking views.
The rooms are traditional ottoman style, majestic, with extreme attention to details.
Best location in the city for history buffs and sightseeing!
Great service, great Turkish restaurant!
They do not have a swimming pool on the premises, but they provide free shuttle service to the other Four Seasons in town where you can freely enjoy their amazing pools and spa.

This is the hardest review, why?, because i stayed there for three nights and was trying to find something to fault the hotel but found nothing! This was a perfect stay! I arrived at the hotel around midnight and wanted to have a drink on the terrace bar overlooking Hagia Sofia, but the bar was closed, no problem, the receptionist immediately opened the area, set up a table and was able to enjoy my drink overlooking the magnificent Hagia Sofia( it couldn't be closer). Everything about the hotel is perfectly balanced, nothing is overstated and nothing is understated. The hotel is spotless, not only the rooms but every area, cleanliness is at another level. The room was big with a big bathroom, and the bed linen was so fresh and soft. The restaurant in the courtyard is again perfect , offering a perfect breakfast, you would never know are in a big buzzing city. Finally the staff. Amazing! They are always around but not in a way that you feel that someone is always watching you, very polite but not overly in a way that makes you feel awkward.

What a great experience! Starting from the pickup at the airport, to checking in—-each staff member remembered my name, and was super helpful! Of particular note was the concierge staff (special note to Uguz Yavuz) each going above and beyond with regard to their knowledge of the community and connecting me with an awesome tour guide (Umran). Many of the historical sites and restaurants you might want to visit are easily within walking distance, as is public transportation. Breakfast at the hotel was exceptional! Fabulous visit—can’t recommend high enough!

In May my daughter and I made a reservation at this property for a winter holiday at the end of January 2022. This week (in November 2021) just 2 months away from the supposed check in date I received an email from the hotel saying the renovation was not going to be completed by January hence they canceled our reservation. Shame on this hotel for ruining our holiday plans! I felt completely set up. It’s not professional to cancel at such short notice before traveling. Now we have to search for another property when the majority of the hotels are already fully booked or not available.

The service at Four Seasons Sultanahmet is simply superb. I think the service is the best I have had at a Four Seasons and that is a real statement as they are one of my favorite brands while overseas. The front desk was prompt and courteous, the concierge recommended a great restaurant and I highly recommend their airport transfer service which was seamless (not s hitch even though we were delayed well past midnight).

The coffee lounge and breakfast area staff are very professional, remembering names and our preferences, and came each day with fun suggestions for me and my son. The hostess even suggested a good Turkish author when she saw what I was reading.

Laundry service was prompt as well. I have laundry done whenever I travel and this can be a frustration, but not at Four Seasons Sultanahmet.

I left my AirPods in the gym and not only did their spa staff recover them before I had missed them, their security team chased me down in the lobby the next morning to return them!!

The only consideration is the facility itself is very much in the city and hence space and transportation is tight! They make great use of the space and we loved our jr suite room but the facility is on the small side so if you are in Istanbul for work event or not for tourism, one might keep that in mind. The benefit of the tightness is location, location, location just steps away from great sites.

Highly, highly recommend this hotel!
