This was our third visit back to this hotel as the team there are so amazing and the hotel is so decadent.

We arrived and Nikita gave us a personal welcome and upgraded our room to an Executive Room with complimentary bottle of wine and some cinnamon chocolate dusted almonds which were delicious. The room had a full bathroom with L’Occitane toiletries and a small cloakroom toilet separate so perfect if one of you spends a lot of time in the bathroom. The room has a free safe, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer but top tip is ask at the bar for two mugs as the cups in the room are rather small.

The restaurant is a gastronomic delight and the price of food is very reasonable considering what is present on the menu and the quality of service is impeccable.

We visited Kutna Hora arranged by the hotel which was a fantastic day out and we also booked an underground tour of the city but was not too impressive to say the least. We also visited the Arena outlets which if you look on line you can get a free pick up and drop off near Republic Square which is a 5 mins walk from the hotel. You also take you email as confirmation of pick up to Guest Services at the outlets and the give you a VIP pass which gets a further 10% discount.

The hotel is in a great location and all the staff are amazing but we have to highlight Peter x 2 behind the Bar, David in the restaurant and Nikita who ensures all the customers needs are met and gives 200% to everyone.

Last but not least a new recruit Trainee in the restaurant John a young man that is very professional and pleasant and engaged in conversation and made our breakfast time an even more enjoyable experience.

My wife and I have just come back from a 2 night stay here (24th - 26th Feb) and loved this hotel.
We had originally booked a "Wowcher Mystery Holiday" but the only mystery is how they're allowed to keep selling those things. Needless to say, this was NOT the hotel we were allocated through that scam... i mean scheme... but neither of us were happy with the poor quality of hotel from Wowcher so we decided to just book something we were happier with. The Art Deco Imperial Hotel did not disappoint at all!
From the exchanges with the concierge service before we even got into the country right up to the time we said goodbye last night, the staff couldn't have been more delightful.

I made contact before we left the UK to book a car to collect us from the airport and the entire process was simple, reasonably priced and very convenient.
The driver was there to greet us and provided us with a great commentary on the way to the hotel with plenty of helpful tips for us.

We were able to check in early too and when we got to our room, we were thoroughly impressed with the styling, cleanliness, comfort and space.

They also left us a bottle of wine for my wife's Birthday which was a couple of days before we flew and a lovely touch.

With this being a city break, we didn't plan to spend much time in the hotel but the time we did was really relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, we did't notice too much noise from the street out front, the bathroom was beautifully decorated and the bath/shower was great.

There were plenty of power outlets, conveniently located too, and the lighting controls by the bed didn't take much getting used to.
There was ample cupboard space but now i think about it, no drawers in our room for underwear etc... Not a problem but i thought it a bit strange.

The breakfast was fine with a large selection of food - neither of us struggled to find something we wanted on either morning.

In terms of location, this was great. We like walking anyway but it wasn't too far from anything. There was a tram stop not too far away too if you don't fancy a walk out.

Overall, while we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Prague, we're not in a rush to go back. We would like to go and explore other cities however if we were to go back or if we were to ever be given the chance to recommend a hotel there, we wouldn't hesitate to suggest staying here.

Thank you to everyone at the Art Deco Imperial for a wonderful stay.

We spent a long weekend at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel and had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived through to the time we left it was really great. We were visiting as it was my girlfriends birthday and we were surprised with a bottle of champagne and chocolates in the room.

The bed was so incredibly comfortable and spacious with really fluffy pillows too. We had a great night sleep every night as the hotel was super quiet. The room as a whole was really big and had everything you could want. The water pressure on the shower was incredible and the toiletries all smelt great too.

The staff were really conscientious and helpful.

The breakfast is a buffet style and was replenished frequently. There was a selection of meats and cheese, British breakfast style and also fruit and sweets too so there was something for everyone. You can also have champagne at breakfast too.

The only downside to the experience was when we went for a massage. The masseuses themselves were wonderful but due to the location of the treatment rooms it was impossible to relax. A large group of men were exercising or going through some sort of hazing ritual as they kept cheering and laughing really loudly. This made it impossible to really relax until they moved on but this took up over half the massage. I understand the hotel can't control the behaviour of their guests but the proximity of the treatment rooms to the spa and without any real sound proofing. It would have been better if music had been played in the room as that could have dampened the sound.

All in all it was a great trip and we'd stay there again!

The Imperial Art Deco Hotel is simply beautiful. From the outside entrance, it looks unassuming but as you enter, you are pleasantly surprised. The Imperial restaurant is to the left and the reception area/bar is to your right as you walk in. Staff were very warm and welcoming, nothing is too much.

The lifts to the upper floors are key card activated, so you can't use them if you don't have your room card which I was very surprised to see! A very good security feature!

Our room was 516 and it was a Double, I believe. Again, in line with the rest of the hotel, it was beautiful! nothing looked cheap, the furnishings were solid wood, 3 HBO channels (In English) on the TV, beautiful bathroom with high-pressure shower (This can be altered) underfloor heating, complimentary safe and dressing gown use. We were also given a complimentary ticket for two free hot drinks and cakes(there were two of us) at check-in whilst we awaited our room.

My partner had his birthday during our stay here and on returning to our room in the afternoon we discovered a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolate and cinnamon covered almonds, with compliments! We normally go away for his birthday and this is the first time we have received this. We were blown away!

Breakfast is between 6:30 am until 10:30 am and has a very good selection for all tastes: cooked food (sausages, egg, mushrooms, bacon, pancakes, porridge, fried potatoes) A selection of cold items (bread (and a toaster!) croissants, cakes, cold meats and various cheeses as well as cereals) Don't forget the tea and coffee!

The bar serves until 1 am and the staff know how to make a cocktail! The caipirinha I had was beautiful! Not too bitter with the right amount of sugar and lime.

The hotel is literally about a 3-minute walk from the old town square (Namesti Republiky) and another 5 minutes to Ungelt Square (where the astronomical clock is) so the location is great! Not too busy with tourists but also not too far from the sights, either.

Overall, this luxury hotel is worth the extra pennies you pay. Would definitely recommend and if I return to Prague in the future, we shall stay here again.

Thank you, Imperial!

A nice hotel but still room for improvement. I wasn’t sure what rating to give the Art Deco Imperial Hotel! During my stay my rating alternated between a 3, 4 and 5!
Pros:
Nice, clean room
Reasonable price - £70 per night, including breakfast
Most staff very friendly
Nice breakfast
Cons:
I was charged £1.90 for a bottle of ‘tap’, yes it was just tap water. This is quite disgraceful and has never happened to me before on my many trips abroad
The bar is far too modern and not in keeping with such a lovely Art Deco hotel

Dear mb74_england, Thank you very much for a post about your recent stay at Art Deco Imperial. I am delighted that you enjoyed your room and that you praise our staff. I will definitely forward this review to our team. I am saddened to read about your experience with the restaurant. I am not sure if my colleagues from restaurant informed you about the charge in advance (they definitely should have!). Charging tap water is an usual standard in Czech Republic and I am sorry it was not explained to you properly. I would be more than happy if you would visit Prague again and choose Art Deco Imperial even for the next time. Yours sincerely Dominik Franc Assistant Front Office Manager

Superb location. Majority of tourist attractions and shopping malls are within easy walking distance. Metro stations and tram stop are 2 minute stroll from the entrance. The room rate included full breakfast and when requested, at modest fee, hotel will as well provide airport transfers. The room was good size, bright (sunny) and warm. Everything you might need was there. Food was excellent, staff in the Reception and Dining room spoke good English. The weather in Prague was spot on for for February, mostly sunny and relatively cold (7°C). I did enjoy my stay.

I booked this hotel after seeing it on the British Airways website. If you book direct through the hotel you get an added discount and we were given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival.
We stayed in an executive twin, the room was a generous size and it was nice to have a separate toilet and bathroom.
The shower was hot and more than powerful, the bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch and we loved the L'Occitaine toiletries.
The interior is beautiful and the cafe where we had breakfast is stunning which (despite the hotel's name) is covered in Art Noveau tiles.
The hotel is located on Na Porici which is a short walk from Nameste Republicky, the main square which leads to the old town and lots of bars and restaurants.
The Charles Bridge is about a 25 min walk away but the hotel provides a helpful map. I also have to add that my bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds i've ever slept in. The aircon actually cooled the room to a comfortable temp. although you could open the windows. We enjoyed a couple of very reasonably priced cocktails as a nightcap before bed each night (about £6.50 and cheaper than a UK pub!)
Breakfast was a very generous buffet of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, pastries, breads, fresh fruit, cold cuts (meats and cheeses), cereals, yogurts, jams, juices, tea or coffee.
We also booked the Mercedes transfer to and from the airport which was very reasonable too. A brilliant stay and we will certainly use the hotel again when (not if) we return to the beautiful city of Prague.

We stayed at this lovely hotel from 30 Dec-2 Jan 2020 We do a fair amount of traveling and would rate this as one of our favorite hotels. The room was very nice and the cleaning staff does a great job, everyday our room was cleaned to perfection. We had arranged through the hotel to be picked up at the airport.... when we arrived the driver was exactly where we were told he would be with our name on a placard so we couldn’t miss him. This hotel pays attention to detail, on the evening of the 31st they had a nice gift package of a traditional Czech drink and a nice note delivered to our room. (What a nice and unexpected touch) During our stay we asked the concierge for a recommendation for dinner on Jan 1st, he recommended the Kampa Park (as we had had dinner at the Imperial Café the evening of our arrival) he then made our reservation and arranged our transportation. His recommendation was perfect! The breakfast is amazing with a large variety. We do not have one complaint about this establishment, it really is a fantastic place to stay. We would like to thank the entire staff for their hard work, it made our visit even more special 😊 we appreciate you!
We plan on visiting Prague several more times and this will definitely be where we stay.

The hotel is very elegent and well maintained. It is bursting with art deco and art nouveae decor and original features which I loved.
The room was an excellent size with great city views. It was also kept very clean and I loved the marbel finish bathroom that was always well stocked with toiletries.
The breakfast was excellent and there was a lot of choice. We ate in the hotel Imperiel Cafe on two occasions and had two excellent meals.
The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Old Town and plenty of shops, bars and resturants close by.
Overall, the hotel is to a fantastic standard, the staff are friendly and helpful and it was excellent value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was to visit Prague again.

This is a great hotel. The decor and rooms are quirky and the staff and location are excellent. Breakfast and the food from room service are delicious. My only issue was the pillows, flat and uncomfortable and there are no options for other pillows. Other then that my only recommendation is if you book, ask for a room with a separate shower as its difficult for a short person to climb over the bath.

I believe you have to pay a bit extra when you pay for the room but it's minimal. The breakfast is OK but quite limited in choice. All the good things like eggs benedict /florentin are extra. Normally in a five star hotel you can order any eggs you want. Hope this helps.

We booked out own taxi from the airport when we arrived, but the hotel booked one for us going back to the airport, prices were exactly the same. If you telephone the hotel they will be able to advise and book a taxi for you, they do not have a hotel limo but use a local taxi company/
