The Strand is a secluded resort surrounded by nature. It has been around for over a decade but has been maintained fairly well. I stayed here for a yoga retreat and we could not have spent it in a more appropriate place. The family suite happened to be vacant so most of our yoga and meditation sessions were held at the suite's balcony, providing a calming view of both greenery and sea. Their staff was so kind and accommodating, attuned to all our needs. They were very adaptable to weather, venue, and schedule changes (e.g. relocating our meal from indoor to outdoor and vice versa, relocating one of our yoga sessions to the beachfront). The rooms are quite spacious. The bed is comfortable. Toilet and shower are decent. The pool is alright. Since we were on retreat, we ate most of our meals at the resort. The kitchen went over and beyond to provide us with hearty dishes from soup to dessert, always leaving us satisfied. E-trike ride to D-mall was provided, which was a great convenience to my group. You can occasionally hear barking dogs and motorbikes but it is generally quiet in this location. You will more often hear the sounds of nature (e.g. raindrops, chirping birds), which contributed to the overall ambience of the resort. Although not a beachfront accommodation, the walk to the beach is a very short one. I like that this resort is situated at the end of station 1 (upon arriving at the beach, you will already see Lambros Point), which is more spacious with less people and establishments. Kudos to the manager, Mark, and to his staff, for our relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would gladly stay here again!

My second time in Boracay & my second time to stay in The Strand. Definitely won’t be the last. Friendliest and most accommodating staff. I love how peaceful and serene the place is, only a few minutes walk to the White Beach (Station 1). If you’re worried about traveling to Boracay this pandemic, this place and its location will make you feel safe and secured. Lovely hotel and room came with a complimentary upgrade which was nice. Room was a deluxe suite with separate lounge kitchen. Very tall rain fall shower and separate loo. Very large comfy bed and room was always kept clean. Wifi was good in all locations. Two separate air conditioners as well and good movies. Breakfast was exceptional by the pool and tranquil music in the back ground. Nothing was too much to ask for. The hotel is not far from the beach which was nice and quite. A few shops nearby for bits and bobs. All in all I would recommend to all and would happily stay here again.

I have mixed emotions about this place. The grounds are lovely, nice pool, tropical feel to the place. The staff are amazing and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Genuinely could not fault the people from reception, security, restaurant and cleaning - they were all lovely. On the down side the rooms are shabby (but clean), the water pressure is poor, I was eaten alive by mosquitoes inside the room and the wifi was dreadful. When I mentioned the wifi to the manager he was dismissive and defensive. The location is neither a pro or a con, you are in a very quiet area but some people may not like the distance to the action. For a cheaper price I can understand shabby rooms and poor wifi but this place charged as much as far fancier places, so the value just isn't there.

Our first time to visit boracay as couple ! aside from the beauty of the place, we also appreciate our choosen home away from home. cozy and spacious with so much love and care from butler and staff,even its back office employee who truly care for thier guest i personally recommend Ms. Nikki Parado for giving us extraoridinary service, from arrival to departure! thumbs up for this hotel and its people. plus the instagramble ambiance of this property will give you no option to leave, but ofcourse appriciate the beach which will take 2mins frm this hotel. what can you ask for? take time to appreciate some photos that can help you love this place ! also try thier paluto and set of foods 😂 so much for this hotel to appreciate! 👍👍👍

I stayed at the Strand for about a week and I must say that it helped me get relaxed and recharged at the same time. The location of the resort is close to the beach in Station 1 which is also a good thing because since there aren't a lot of people I was able to really enjoy the beach in peace. The staff are also very helpful and approachable, the room was big and spacious. The balcony area was also a plus. The calmness and serenity of the resort were really its selling point, especially for people like me who work during the day. They also have a service that can take you to station 2 if you want to visit the bars and other resto. Overall my experience was really great, and I will truly recommend it. If you want to go to Boracay but still have the option to relax other than just be in the middle of the parties, this is a great hotel to stay at.

What a great place to stay! We spent 3 nights there and loved the tropical appearance, large modern rooms, the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of all staff, the meals, the tranquil location of the pool, the proximity to a lovely beach and their attention to detail in all things. We wanted an e-trike to go somewhere? Within a moment the security guard had one there for us. We were off to the beach? Just a moment- here are some beach towels (at other places we had to ask for them). Highly recommended. (Rates are great, too!)

The place and the ambience is perfect for people who wants to be in Boracay but want to skip the noise and busy white beach area.The suites/rooms are spacious and they even allow visitors until 11pm, so you can chill with friends anytime.
Breakfast options are good and generous portions too. The whole property speaks of relaxation. Well, all those things are good but I think the absolute gem is their staff, they're very responsive and accommodating.
The only disadvantage is that it's a bit of a walk to the beach, and if you're quite sensitive, the hotel is right next to the cemetery.

Lovely quiet location, good rooms and superb staff. Close to quiet part of the beach. Paluto service was first class. Overall excellent value. It felt like a real tropical location and one of the best things is that it is so quiet despite being close to the beach. Bar Kasbar close by is a great spot for sunset beers, or beer at any time actually.

It's so near the beach but so far away from the noise! This space is far away from the usual busy party places in Boracay. Albeit far from the busyness, I personally think it is worth staying at. Why? Just walk a few meters and you reach the shoreline, around 2mins. It is a place that's really worth your money because it is almost at Station 0 but the price is just right. They also have a pool, for those who don't want to swim at the shoreline. And you can have your yummy mango shake after a short swim. The rooms are ridiculously spacious! I feel like I can do a cartwheel inside. There's also a "terrace"outside your room where you can hang out and get a bit dry before you go inside your room. LOVELY! Will definitely go back again with my family and friends!
