The staff was very helpful for American tourist. They helped with directions, selecting trains, dinner reservations, & a taxi to the Castelfalfi Resort. It was wonderful to stay here & when we returned we would gladly stay here again!

The hotal was in an excellent location being central for all the major attractions. The room although small and lacking in storage with no drawers and the minimum of hanging space was spotlessly clean with everything changed on a daily basis. The breakfast was served under the covid 19 restrictions but was excellently managed and very efficient. In particular Jada the breakfast recepionist was really bright and cheerful.
Our room window did overlook the bus station at the rear and this didn't seem to be an issue during the weekend we were woken up at 6.30 during the week.
Different to other hotels payment was requested when you checked in.
We would definitely stay here again, preferably when the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted but would as for a room away from the bus depot.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. We were scheduled to stay around the corner at their "Joy" hotel and were upgraded here due to covid cleaning of floors and probably the length of our stay (4 days). Both are not even a block from the train station, and the Ambasciatori has a walkway right across the street, so no need to walk anywhere for the hotel! Overall it was close to all locations in Florence, although the Boboli park was further than expected so take a cab or bus to it because the entrance isn't properly mapped on google maps. Taking a train to Rome is 1.5 hours, to Venice is a little over 2 hours and to Pisa is a little over an hour departing every 20-30 min.
The second best thing is probably the breakfast, it has a big selection being such a large hotel. The entire basement is dedicated to breakfast. They are making the croissants fresh, and probably the other breads/cakes too. Lots of fresh fruits, quality sliced meats and cheeses, yogurt and packets of cereals. So far this has been our best breakfast at any hotel in Italy.
Our room was very clean, the only issue I can think of is the shower leaked water on to the floor, so we had to put a towel down to keep it dry. Others had this issue in the past because I can see water damage on the bathroom doorway trim. The air vent is bent, and some of the wall paper is peeling on the corners too.
The room was clean, and had a shared balcony with a neighboring room, so be sure to close your shades at night for privacy. There is a small fridge in the room, and the room was very sound proof from outside noise, but we could hear the neighboring room flushing the toilet at night, it seemed to be a few feet from our bed. (we do sleep lightly.) The room on the other side of ours had a door inches from ours and was opening and closing regularly until late. But, regardless we did get a good sleep. The bed was a 7 out of 10, it was soft, but could still feel some of the springs. The internet was really solid, I streamed a college football game one night even after we came back exhausted.

Me and my partner stayed in the hotel at the end of September for his birthday. The hotel is situated right next to the train station and a walking distance to the historical centre of Florence. We loved our room - it was clean, spacious, the shampoo and body lotion in the room smelled amazing. The breakfast was also lovely and we liked the coffee. We asked for a bottle opener several times because we had wine as a gift from a restaurant. Nobody could assist us, the first night the night receptionist said he will leave a note for the day team because he couldn't find one. The next day we asked again, no help as well. The other thing I was a bit disappointed was that it was my boyfriend's birthday and it would have been nice if the room was decorated complimentary. Overall we would love to stay in the hotel if we visit Florence again.

A lot to be improved in terms of cleaning. In our first day I left a small note in the room asking to the staff cleaning the balcony, as it was completely dirty, we payed more for the balcony but we could not use it, nothing happened and the day after we realized that also the headboard was completely dirty, with dust in everywhere. The second point is about noise, even in a room not in front to the train station, too much noise, what lead me to believe in a bad acoustic isolation, because even closing completely the window we were able to hear all the noise coming from the street (also the garbage truck at 04:30 AM). The third point is about the air entry over the door (room 254), there is a light spot outside the room and the clarity invades all the room through this air entry. The small fridge was also not working properly, with water in its bottom coming from somewhere. The only positive impression we had was about the breakfast, with too many options and high quality, everything was super fresh and tasty. We stayed two nights only so I decided to avoid requesting to change to a another room.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early December as we had booked a short Florence break. The hotel is in an excellent location as all the main attractions are only a short walk away.The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful with lots of advice on trips around the area. Guido on reception was especially helpful and Sami in the bar was great fun and made excellent cocktails which we can highly recommend. If we decide to go back to this region we will stay in this hotel again and are happy to recommend it to our friends.

the hotel was very clean, the bathroom was very specious and modern, good size bedroom. nice breakfast. the best think about the hotel is its location and its price. Our original booking was for a different hotel of the club, but he transferred us to the Ambasciatori Hotel, because the hotel we booked was full. The hotel is right by the santa maria novella train station, but not noisy at all, which was very close to all the main site scenes, and also the train station (we used it to visit other nearby cities) and the car rental companies, which we also use, which make it an ideal location for everyone who wants to visit Florence and other cities as well by train or by car.

I have stayed at this place and it has a great value for money proposition. Room is small for the money charged but its is comfortable and has all th basic amenities. Breakfast is amazingly good, its key advantage is the locate -bang in the center and close to Duomo and several attractions, Now there is a tram that takes you to airport under 2 euros in 18 mins flat. The stop is right outside the station and tram arrives before your cab can. and of course there is an excellent super market on the other side for any provisions. If you need to travel outside town by bus or train they are both available within minutes,

Perfect location if you need to be close to the train station and fairly close to the main sites. It is walking distance to nearly everything in Florence. The hotel is modern with comfortable recently renovated rooms and friendly staff. Note though that the street below can get busy so light sleepers may need earplugs, and the rooms are quite small. I was traveling on my own and just wanted a convenient, comfortable and clean hotel in a central location, and this ticked all the boxes. Don’t come looking for a 5 star hotel with amazing facilities - you’re likely in Florence to walk around the city, and this is a great location for it (especially if you don’t want to take your bags from the train for a long distance!)
