Spent 5 days here and loved every minute. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Perfect location. Got a great studio apartment with sun on the balcony all day. Pool side got a bit shaded from 4pm so great to be able to relax on balcony in sun for another while

I stayed in a studio apartment 8 to 20 January this year.
Location and arrival: The free airport (Malaga) transfers worked very well. The apartments are right on the sea front and could not be better situated. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance but quiet for sleep.
Room and features: a large open plan room with comfortable beds, table and chairs, arm chairs, basic kitchen (large fridge for drinks, milk etc and I took my own travel kettle) roomy modern bathroom with good shower and water pressure (4th floor). The TV had most UK free view channels so you can keep up with your soaps including Harry and Meghan if that is your desire. The balcony had decent side views of the sea and grounds but not particularly private (more apartments opposite) and no sun but did not bother me as I was out most of the time. It may be possible to request a sun-bathed balcony – I did not check. The room was cleaned daily by a cheerful and efficient woman.
Communal facilities: The reception desk staff were very helpful (for instance one lady gave me a written note in Spanish so I could purchase the right soap powder for the self-service laundry). The bar had entertainment each evening of a good standard (singers or dancers or a quiz etc), aimed at the older age ranges visiting at this time of year. My room and all communal areas were kept clean and tidy and all staff were friendly and welcoming.
The only negative experience for me was in the restaurant. On my first morning I went for breakfast, and no staff being available to advise or help I started breakfast. A highly strung man who I took to inhabit the role of manager appeared and started shouting loudly that I must pay. I said I was happy to but no one was available on my arrival. He marched me to his till to pay immediately and I never went back. The self-service cooked breakfast its self was poor – it had been there a while but I did go down towards the end of breakfast. I had many a good meal in other local eateries.
Aside from that one incident (would have been all 5's without it) I had a very enjoyable time and will happily visit again.

Just returned from another beautiful stay at the Bajondillo.
We didn’t really know what to expect due to COVID and were in two minds whether to go, however we are so pleased we went ahead.
The Hotel is taking all the precautions you would expect to keep guests safe however has managed to achieve whilst maintaining the usual magical, warm, friendly, welcoming feel. The recent/ ongoing improvements to the rooms were very nice to find too with modern quality shower rooms being installed along with new ( much quieter) air con.
It was also good to find Torremolinos itself open for business but again with all the precautions you would expect in relation to COVID.Masks are obligatory pretty much everywhere except when you are exercising, sunbathing, swimming, eating/drinking, however we quickly got into the routine and this didn’t impact our enjoyment..
All in all well worth the 14 days isolation on return to the uk! See you next year in hopefully more normal times.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last year and had I reviewed it after last time, it would have received 5* but found the hotel slightly less impressive this time. Firstly, the positives. We have been lucky enough to have been given a room with a lovely view on each of our stays - most rooms will have a partial sea view, and we had a sea and pool view. The sunrise in the morning is beautiful, so definitely worth requesting. My parents stayed at the hotel at the same time as us and we’re unfortunately given a room on the ground floor, which in comparison to our room was awful. Dark and dingy, it was like being in the basement, the balcony is a lot smaller and there are bars over it. The room was also a lot more dated. They asked to be moved and on their second day the hotel put them in a much nicer room on the 5th floor. The location of the hotel is excellent. Right opposite the beach, a short walk in to La Carihuela and a few minutes from the lift in to torremolinos old town. The bed in the room is one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom is lovely and modern; air con works well and wifi signal is good. Now for the negatives. You have to pay €3 a day for a bed, which I have never experienced in any other hotel. If you are a family of 4, this would add a substantial cost to your holiday. Unlike the previous twice that we have visited, there was entertainment on the terrace every evening this time. I’m all for people enjoying themselves on their holiday, but this was by far the liveliest hotel in the area. The music was incredibly loud and went on until gone midnight every night. We have a toddler so it was very difficult to keep him asleep with all the noise outside. Had we known about how loud and late the music was, we would not have booked. The pool area is nice, but is surrounded by grass. When people are walking over the grass to get to the pool, they inevitably walk the mud over the tiles and into the pool which was a bit gross. The tiles surrounding the pool became very slippery and often smelt like a sewer - out toddler slipped over a few times. It would benefit the pool area if the tiles were wiped over a few times during the day to prevent this; there are plenty of pool staff around to facilitate this. All in all we still very much enjoyed our holiday but not quite as shiny and impressive as previous visits

Honest review! 😊 We stayed as a family of four, upon check in there was a lady with blondish bobbed hair(sorry we didn’t get your name) who was incredibly pleasant and helpful! We were located quite high up in the apartments overlooking an amazing view of the sea which we requested and they kindly gave us. We personally didn’t eat at the restaurant and ventured out to nearby restaurants, we were really disappointed with the surrounding area as there was next to nothing open (not the hotels fault and we should have expected it given the time of year). On our second day of the stay we encountered what we thought may have been caused by the bedding in the room a widespread rash on my partners body and we spoke with the manager immediately who was more than helpful, pleasant and reassuring. He had our bedding changed and the issue has persisted since leaving the hotel so we are more than certain it had nothing to do with the rooms and the manager reassured us. The pool was of a very decent size but unfortunately, we did not have the weather to go in more than once. No kettle available however, there is pans provided (good old fashioned way) to boil water with, we bought a travel kettle from the town centre for 15 euros. The cleaners were always cleaning and ensuring we had enough stock for the rooms, they do advice to keep towel use at a minimal because of the water shortage which we did but would definitely recommend taking own towels also to help save on the water. We took a walk to Benaldemena which was very beautiful in the evening! Overall, it was a lovely well managed apartment/hotel with stunning views. Thank you!

Arrived in the middle of night via the free coach transfer from the airport. Reception really friendly. The reception area seemed a little dated but it was the middle of the night so we made our way to our room and went to bed. The rooms are dated but SPOTLESSLY clean and the beds are comfy and 2 pillows, which is usunusual in spain. You can hire sunbeds which come with a super comfy mattress, again all spotlessly clean, there is also a bar which sells drinks and hot snacks reasonably priced. We are so glad we found this gem, great location on the front overlooking the sea with bars and restaurants close too hand but this area of Torremelinos is more for families and couples not the clubbing all nighters !! This hotel has free parking and is close to the beach which were the main reasons we decided to stay here. We stayed here for 5 nights. The first night we had some noisy neighbours. The front desk were very understanding about this the next day and they suggested that we should have called the night before. We had no issues in the new room. We really loved the views of the ocean from the 8th floor. The room was a good size. It has a table and 2 dining chairs, 2 lounge chairs and a kitchen area. The bathroom appears to have been recently renovated and is very modern. The balcony is of a good size and has a table and 2 chairs. This is very nice for eating dinner outside in the evening and listening to the ocean. The extra features of this room make it comfortable to stay in for longer durations. We would love to go back again.

Negatives Bit dated and more for very older customers.
Highly recommended for price though. Lovely staff Tips go to beach rather than hotel pool to crowded and have to que for beds at 10am and charge of 3 euros ..7 euros on beach from 8.30 am till 8pm

This was booked early in the year when prices were very low,it was a bit of a gamble as we had not stayed in Torremolinos before so if it did not work out for us then we had not too much to lose with the town or property. It turned out to be the best gamble of the year for me! Everything just worked out great,Renfe tram station to the city lift was a short walk,exit the lift and the Bajondillo Apartments are around a 100 yd walk,just brilliant.The apartment complex is huge,3 sets of blocks with a central area for pool and bars,entertainment etc.It was pretty busy when we arrived and my request for a room on a high floor was agreed straight away,top floor,for me the right choice.The 3 lifts in our block were fine to cope with the people using them.Got in the apartment,it was classed as a partial sea view studio and exceeded our expectations by a country mile.Super view,every sunrise seen from the massive comfortable beds or balcony area.The biggest studio we have ever had,2 comfortabe beds,loads of storage space,table,chairs,TV with a stack of UK channels! Great air-con,fridge with large ice-box,2 rings for cooking,basic cutlery,lovely bathroom with loads of towels.Our cleaning lady called every day for the 6 days we were here,towels changed if needed,floors mopped every visit,bin emptied etc. The beach area was always well-kept with many restaurants/bars offering loungers for hire,sea was great to swim in.A real bonus was the free shuttle bus we used for the airport run.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this aparthotel, its the first I have stayed there. I loved the location across from beach and the Reception staff and cleaning ladies were very accommodating. Free airport shuttle greatly appreciate. Kitchen had everything needed for making breakfast and light meals. Upgraded bathroom. Train station close by to get around the area. We visited Saville Cordoba, Estapona Malaga and Benalmadena. All very easy to do. Will definitely stay here again.

So sorry for the slow response! I was happy with the breakfast. I found that there was a very good variety of food, hot and cold. There were eggs, meats, vegetables, a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, a variety of breads, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and a variety of teas. It was buffet style. You can eat indoors or outside on the terrace. I hope this helps. :-)
There are more places to choose from in the Torremolinos area.
