Stayed in an one bedroom twin apartment with 2 friends for two nights.

Pros:
Good central location, so not too far to walk to nearby shops or places to eat.
Good supply of crockery & cutlery in the kitchen.
Dishwasher was easy enough to work and wash didn't take long.
Bathroom was nice, good size.
Discount offered for parking car at nearby Q-car parks (car parks are well lit, so felt safe using them)
Beds, although a little hard, were comfortable.
Apartment seemed to warm up/cool down well when air con was altered.
Great view of the Billy Connolly mural outside (over the Hootananny pub).
Nice to have hotel room where you can actually open the window if you want air!

Cons:
Hardly any space between the twin beds we had in the bedroom section - when you pushed them apart further it left no room to walk round the beds.
The hotel photos show a desk in the apartment, however there wasn't - just a dining table. Photos are a little misleading as they do make the room look bigger than they are.
Little bit of outside noise could be heard during the night, but if you were on upper floors that wouldn't be an issue.
The bedding for the sofa bed was stuffed into the cupboard, and whilst unravelling it all, a dirty floor mat appeared. It must've previously been used in the bathroom, but why it hadn't been taken away by the cleaners is a mystery. (this was mentioned to reception).
Some of the reception staff need further training as some didn't seem sure what they were doing. For example, we had to ask for the 2 complimentary coffee pods for our stay (a bit mean to only provide 2 pods when there were 3 of us in the room, and that had been clear on the booking). Not sure why the pods weren't just in the room along with other drinks options.

Overall, stay was ok, but think the cleaning staff need to be more thorough (as our friends staying in another room had unclean bedding) and the reception staff need a little more training.

Really amazing hotel, great value for money, really nice vibe, my room was big and spotless and lovely I will definitely stay again. The room has a kitchen fully stocked with utensils and the bathroom has a nice fancy powerful hairdryer in it!
The reason why I gave it four stars is because my room was really cold and there was no way to increase the heat, when I tried to increase the thermostat it would just go down again to "save energy" I had to sleep with my coat on as a result. Also the light from the microwave clock is really bright and shines into your eyes when you try to sleep, there's no way to turn it off so I had to tape over it. The bed is extremely comfy but has a very hard mattress so just be warned if that's not your thing. The location of the hotel is excellent, it's right next to a Tesco and the train station, it's right bang in the centre of Glasgow and is so affordable! Thank you for my lovely stay.

The adajio aparthotel is in the centre of Glasgow between the river Clyde and st enochs square.

Easy to book into and the receptionists were good with any queries we had.

The hotel is in a great location whether you like to go for a meal drinks or just for abit of retail therapy.

Rooms are a good size and offer a microwave a hob dishwasher and coffee making machine aswell as a good size fridge with integrated freezer.

New hotel so everything is modern and clean. The studio we stayed in was well equipped with an excellent kitchenette and good-sized bathroom.

Unfortunately, the positives end there. The laundry was not set up and was instead being used as a storage cupboard. The “fitness centre” was extremely minimal, comprising of a small room with a few exercise machines and lightweight dumbbells. These were two of the key reasons we booked the hotel (as advertised online and confirmed by the hotel during a phone enquiry), which was extremely disappointing.

The "double bed" was two single beds put together. The pillows were small and hard, and felt very cheap. The "free WiFI" didn't work. The heavy “automated” doors at the entrance were not working and there was no doorman to help open them (considerable health and safety risk especially with suitcases).

The most disappointing thing about this hotel was the service from staff which was extremely poor. Despite the reception desk being right in the middle of the lobby, staff rarely made eye contact or spoke to acknowledge your presence – it was very unwelcoming. Staff were also unprofessional. We saw what appeared to be one of the main staff regularly on his cell phone including having personal calls and messages running in the background while on duty, and kissing another guest in the lobby when we were checking in.

We gave the hotel an opportunity to improve our experience when we expressed our disappointment after being misled about the facilities and asked if we could move to another room. They were very unconcerned and simply advised that there were no other rooms available – Despite online booking sites showing an ample amount of rooms at the hotel. It was very unpleasant staying somewhere where the staff who were meant to help you were apathetic at best.

We encountered several other issues with the hotel and its staff, which can’t be shared without turning this review into a short story.

In summary, while the physical aspects of this hotel were modern and new, the service (which is key to any stay or customer experience) was poor, so I do not recommend this hotel.

It’s a liability! This isn’t a cheap hotel (££) and while it’s nicely appointed and well located the service is poor. The concept seems to be you pay for the room and everything else is extra including exorbitant charges to clean the room! When asked if they could make up the sofa bed (and good luck sleeping in it) we were told they could show us how but not make it up as they’d be liable if something happened . In all my travels I have never heard such a ridiculous excuse! Later we have the audacity to ask for more coffee sachets and it’s as if we’d asked for feee champagne. The concept just doesn’t work at these prices and so stay in a good budget hotel instead and avoid the liability!

This hotel is overrated. We drove from Belgium and decided to stay in Scotland for 4 nights. Based on the high rating on website, we chose Adagio Aparthotel Glasgow instead of other Accorhotels in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We realized we made a mistake the moment we discovered there is no hotel carpark as we have many bags. At check-in, we were told there is no room upgrade (for Gold) as hotel is full because their management team is staying there for the big opening event. What was more annoying was their temporary staff (a lady from Liverpool) was more excited about their management than us the guests being there. Guests are the ones who are crucial for the survival of the hotel's existence. The first room allocated to us based on our original booking was supposedly on 3rd floor with a view of the back of a tall building and views of rubbish bins. Robby managed to "upgrade" our room to 706 after much hassle. This is a 1-bedroom apartment but located right next to the bin/disposal room. We tried to stay positive and ignored that fact. The room/apartment was nice and clean but size of bedroom was too small. Most disappointing part was there is no wifi access inside the room. We needed to step outside of room to get access. For me, having a video conference meeting was a total disaster. When we discovered there is no wifi access, we informed Robby and he sent a technician to supposedly extend the wifi to our room but after more than 1 hour of work, there was still no wifi access. Without the wifi access, I could have my video conference and also without wifi, we could not "mirror image" any videos or images from our own device on to the room TV. For the 4 nights stay, we decided to just purchase our own wifi access from phone provider. This was one of the most disappointing Accorhotel we stayed in.

We had a couple of nights away for a treat and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one bedroom apartment was perfect for the four of us, our mum and sisters. The bedroom was made up as a double bed but could be separated to make two singles, with sliding doors for privacy. The living room had a sofa bed which again could be two singles or a double. The beds were firm which suited me, and the bedding supplied was lovely and warm. The apartment had table and chairs and kitchen area with dishwasher which was great for brekky and coffee for us. The place was very clean and central to shops and train station and parking nearby, just perfect.

Pros:
1. Location. It’s a few minutes walk from Glasgow Central station.
2. There is everything around the hotel; super market, pharmacy, cinemas, shops, restaurants, bars etc.
3. Clean, functional and quiet
4. Check in is very fast.
5. Wifi is available for free but keeps slipping in and out. This could be because of the location of my room.
6. Breakfast is lovely.
7. The Lobby is like a living room with still and sparkling water on tap for free and a mini help your self shop.
8. The size of the room is perfect and it comes with a regular size fridge, a mini kitchen with all the utensils where you can actually do some cooking. And there is a mini dishwasher.

Cons
1. Only 1! Which is the pillows! They are dense and rock hard. This is the only down side and actually to me it is the most important factor. This is the reason why I will not book this hotel again and that is a great shame. If management is reading this. You can put 2 soft pillows and 2 hard pillows on the bed so your guests can choose. I had to roll up some towels to use as pillows.

This is a generally good hotel in a quiet block down the bottom of Buchanan Street, the main pedestrian mall in Glasgow. The room and the facilities were fine, with a seperate bathroom and small kitchen. The reception staff, however, left much to be desired. On trying to check in we were told to take a seat and waited 15 minutes before this was commenced. There was no explanation for this, their computers didn't appear to be down but everyone checking in was given the same instructions. This is something you don't need after flying some 31 hours to get to Glasgow! Our bags did not arrive in Glasgow with us and the first of three were delivered to the hotel two days after we arrived. On picking up this bag from reception we were told that they had told the courier driver that there was no hurry getting the other two bags to us as we weren't checking out of the hotel for five days. My simple response to this was "Why would you do that?" when we had no clothes or toiletries with us! The hotel has a laundry in which the washing machines and dryers take three one pound coins. When I asked at reception to change a note into pound coins I was told that they would not do this and I would have to get the coins from the Tesco Express on the opposite corner!

The nitemare started 2weeks after we stayed here. The hotel charged us on booking the trip ,we were asked again for payment on leaving, had to prove showing them bank app that we had paid.,however they took it upon thereself to go in again 2weeks l8r take another£198..
Took us 8weeks of many telephone calls, emails, some which were ignored and telephone calls disconnected.excuse after excuse.Eventually got it refunded will never return here or reccommend especially with so many other options around glasgow.
Customer service was one of the worst ever experienced from the check in to awaiting refund.
