Seems like the air conditioning issue is still ongoing - I wish I read other traveller reviewed before booking this hotel. When I arrived, my window was open due to the air con... I have never seen an AC like this- it requires the window to be kept open and some tubes run outside.

I have since shut it and requested 2 portable heaters and I am still very cold. I also arrived after a long night flight and it took an hr to get a heater, after multiple follow ups.
It’s 9 degrees outside, there is no need for air conditioning

Do not book this hotel! There is an issue with heating and ACs, it seems it does not work in any of the rooms. It is really uncomfortable.

Given room 815 beside the elevator shaft. The noise is completely unacceptable and should not be sold as a room to guests. Would suggest this will be the same experience for annoying staying in a room ending in 5 on any floor. No help or apology from reception. Exceptionally poor given high London pricing. Terrible.

Booked a room for 3 adults with a king size bed and a sofa bed for a night away with girlfriends.
First room we were given was not the room I booked. We were told our actual room would be ready later. I asked them to make sure the sofa bed was made up. We got back to the hotel at 10.45pm shattered only to find the sofa bed was not made up. Called reception but no one came up so had to call a second time and eventually 2 men came up and literally threw the bedding on. It was so badly made we had to re-make it. Then we realised the very stuffy room had no working air-conditioning. I called down again they came up with a fan and said they knew it didn’t work. Also one of the bedside lifts didn’t work either nor did the usb ports. They offered us a smaller room which wasn’t suitable and weren’t even willing to refund any money in the room.
The attitude of staff is not great. I would definitely not recommend this hotel I have stayed in better Premier Inns at a fraction of the price.
I’m a travel agent so will be feeding this back to my company.

The hotel is tired and needs some refurbishment. Especially the bedroom and bathroom in the room. It was clean but tired, marks/stains on countertops, shower, toilet seat, flooring. No firmer pillows available and had to ask 2 times for this! Breakfast was ok but not very hot and all the pastries were stale and inedible. Would not stay again, too many other better hotels for less money.

I first stayed at the Marble Arch Marriott when we moved to London in the winter of 2010...unfortunately not much has changed. Rooms are haphazardly renovated (some changed, other not), beds and bedding are comfy, bathrooms are dated by usable. I absolutely love the location tucked away from the bustle of Edgeware Road (amazing middle eastern food) but convenient to Oxford Street, Hyde Park, Paddington Station, Marylebone High Street, and various Tube stops.

Very good location... Within 30 min walk to key destinations. The bed is very comfortable, pillows fluffy. The AC did not work in our room so we moved to another room but the lowest temp setting is still quite warm. The hairdryer only works in the hallway (you can't use the one outlet in the bathroom ... It's strictly for a shaver) and doesn't stay on. There is a safe for valuables. The ironing board cover is so worn that it lost it's necessary purpose. It is clean. The staff are helpful, polite and highly attentive.

We were in a 12 hour transit at Heathrow, and stayed at this hotel. Call great location walkable to Marble Arch Oxford Street etc. Check in was delightful with Abdul, and he gave us an amazing Indian restaurant around the corner it was open till midnight because of our late arrival. Stephanie the general manager made sure to ask is how our stay was and was delightful to speak with. Breakfast was delicious with strong cappuccinos in the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our first time at this Marriot and glad we made the switch. Located just off the A40 access is great from Oxford. Subterranean parking is a little tight but convenient. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful which made our stay all the better. The on-site Pickled Hen pub was great for early evening pitstop, a post show drink and transformed itself for breakfast. Rooms adequate size and beds comfortable. The complete all rounder !

Sub 3-star service at 5-star rate. Customer service non existent, aircons not working (in the first room they put us there was an industrial type noisy a/c unit with exhaust pipe blowing into the room, when we complained they moved us to another room where a/c just didn't work). Everything was bad basically.

I ordered room service and was presented with an almost inedible cheese and ham sandwich. My glass of wine was not chilled. I went to bed hungry!
Once I was in bed there was noise above me as if someone was hammering water pipes. I was in room 515. I did not get a restful night.
Following a complaint on both of these issues at the desk when I was leaving I was not offered a refund for the food.

I would highly recommend the Marriott London County Hall Hotel over the marble arch. They have upgrades, the lounge is wonderful and the location cannot be beat!
