Went with a Tuango "deal". We quickly noticed in the first room who happened to be a suite that the mattresses were old (two queen beds), inadequate for any hotel (considering the class) and totally uncomfortable. We were "upgraded" to a smaller room (supposedly another suite because of the small jacuzzi which was a little dirty and that we didn’t use at all. This "upgrade" in room 210 cost us 80$ more and we ended up having to cope with the noise of the slamming door leading to the staircases and the cars of the main road. But the mattress was a memory foam and quite comfy!

You obviously don’t go there for the gym. Small with vintage equipment. We went to the spa. The larger section is better and the water very hot.

The food at the bistro was not bad except the main dish that I had. The Portuguese wine from a selection made my the chef was an interesting choice. I did felt that the whole Tuango package was overrated.

Best part was the pressure therapy. A first and hopefully not the last.

The door guy was impolite spitting on the ground at the entrance… and smoking his cigarette. I just couldn’t believe my eyes!

In summary, don’t go there if you have other options in Estrie. If your stuck in Granby might as well try to get a better price than us at this hotel.

Nice hotel with a European feel to it. Rooms were large and clean. My room had a nice little balcony with a view of the lake. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. It is a short drive to downtown Granby. There is an onsite restaurant and bar. We did not eat dinner there but stoped in for a drink and both bartenders were very friendly. My only complaint was breakfast. It always seemed that the buffet was almost empty and I was always getting the last sausage or the last remnants of eggs. Coffee was empty both mornings we ate there. The quality of the food that was available was sub par as well. I believe there is a breakfast place directly accross the street from the hotel. My suggestion would to give that a try.

Loved our stay at St. Christophe. Good price for stay
Very friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms and common areas. Nice pool area with water the perfect temperature. Our full body massages were amazing. We are at the hotel restaurant. Meal was sumptuous. The chef outdid himself. Our waitress was very friendly. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but we enjoyed our bacon, eggs, sausages and French toast. Waitress to was very nice and chatty. Would go again and would definitely recommend.

We planned a family vacation in Grandby, we had stayed at the St Christophe in 2018 and had the best time. We decided to go again as we had the best experience previously.

Big mistake, never again will I go there and will tell my friends and family to stay away from this place.

Everything is in need of repairs, shower handle fell while trying to take a shower, pavers are falling around the hot tub, wood deck is rotten, sauna and gas fire pit don't work.

Do not go for breakfast, there is very little offered. A few croissant, scrambled eggs, sausages (if you are lucky), a toaster that does not work, etc, you get the idea.

We were under the impression that breakfast was included, especially for the price we paid and considering that there was not enough to go around for all their guests. Nope, at check out they charged us $130 for our "breakfast". I finally ask to speak to the manager, after a conversation with her, she finally agreed to credit the $130.

I then ask who can I contact regarding my stay, I was given a business card with the GM email, I emailed him the very next day and receive and email back from Gina the administrator, explaining that the GM was too busy to respond to my email. She proceeded with "we are so sorry, you did not enjoy your stay with us, we would like if you could give us a second chance in the future', I paid over $1600 for 2 rooms for 2 nights. No attempts on their part to offer some type of credit or refund.

This hotel is family owned, it is falling apart. Someone will get hurt, especially around their outdoor pool, hot top or on the wood deck.

Room was clean upon arrival, spacious, had a balcony and lovely view of the lake. However, service was sorely lacking. Hotel not fully operational, supposedly because of pandemic. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING AVAILABLE. Had to run after clean towels, and old ones were never removed. Restaurant hours restricted. Reservations needed for breakfast and pool. Limited breakfast choices, though food was good. Spa charge $15/day is ridiculous just to use a hot tub. Condescending male desk clerk. (Female employees were charming and helpful.) Undergoing spa expansion, so expect construction noise and view. Indoor pool ok but small. Would not recommend, at least not at this time.

It was certainly the most unpleasant stay I have ever experienced and really regret it. The worst part was definitely the incredibly bad service at the restaurant as the chef had left and the knew one would arrive only in November. Meanwhile, a maid of the hotel is the one making the food.

When we arrived, I asked them for a double bed room as I was there with my daughter and her son. They charged 40$ (20$ per night) as suplement.

There was nothing special in the room, actually it was pretty small, and we kept bumping into the tv armoir that was very close to our beds. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, no internet on the TV, no special chanel, no movies and no guide to find the chanels. We never had service in our room, the towels were not changed and not one to clean the room and make the beds. To me, it's quiet disapointing.

Checkin at 4pm could not have the room before, first time in my life. Lobby so old even smell old…. Lady at the front desk was depressed. Door of the IT room behind the lobby front desk was open and it was a big mess… Room smelt old, was old too, dust everywhere… was sneezing nonstops. Overall this hotel needs to be renovated.

I rarely write a review about anything when I travel, but I must comment on this one. I looked at the hotel website before booking this stay. If "European Charm" means "really old and run-down" then yes... it's extremely charming. The pictures on the website make this hotel look wonderful. The actual experience was far from it.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on business. The room was never cleaned during my time there, no new towels, no emptied garbage cans, never a bed made, nothing. All of the furniture is old, the TV armoire doors removed to barely accommodate the TV, the bathroom vanity doors so warped they were screwed shut. Beds not comfortable, pillows worse, floors a poor laminate install. Other furniture was old, rickety, yellowed or all of the above.

I did not use any of the facilities (spa, restaurant, etc.). Perhaps they would have made me overlook the shortcomings of the room.

I'm sorry to have to make these statements at all, but hopefully it helps someone else get the full picture when they consider this establishment.

My best friend and I came for a night and was served by Bader at the reception, who was extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Would 100% recommend. Very nice hotel, very clean as well. Enjoyed the spa as well.
