I had to try few rooms to pick mine, they were supposed yo be non smoking but people have smoked without management's consent. My room was clean, comfortable, the basics were met, just good enough and I loved that they accommodated me as a graduate student by giving me a special rate, and the reception responsible Lynn is super nice and friendly!

A group of four stayed here for an overnight prior to a fishing trip.

We arrived a bit late (after 2200) and the staff was waiting for us.

I expected a room at the motel, but apparently it was full and we were placed in two rooms of an annex downtown.

Both rooms were clean, spacious, refurbished, and had all the needed amenities for an overnight stay. It is nothing fancy but I found it more than adequate.

We were not thrilled with the Main Street parking but our gear was fine overnight.

We ate breakfast at the motel restaurant and it was a good and reasonable breakfast.

For US travelers there is no exchange rate offered so using a credit card/debit card is a wise choice for payment.

Geraldton is an out of the way place in Northern Ontario, favoured by snowmobilers and the logging industry . this is an older town but he breakfast was great and the room was clean. My room was older decore in good condition and my friends room needed some tlc he said but for being inexpensive he didn't mind the good sleep and big breakfast he liked !!

This place shouldn’t have a rating! Went to stay there last night……and left! Musty smelly room. L shaped room with two double beds. Dirty air conditioner in the window. No kettle or coffee facilities. Very old motel. No toiletries in bathroom. Dirty shower curtain. Was not impressed. We chose to sleep in our vehicle!!I don’t know where the pictures came from on other ratings….but not like the two rooms I saw.

Our 2nd stay due to business demands. It is noted that it is not rated yet but the competition is. Better choice here. It suffers like the rest of the community. Maybe a mine revitalization soon. The bed is comfy, the room is clean and cheerful colours and a reasonable rate.

The attached restaurant with the same name has good food, fair helpings and attractive pricing for the area. The vehicles in say a lot for it.

If you want a luxurious room, this isn’t it. But if you’re good with no frills, just a simple, clean room this is for you. The rooms are a little beat up and there’s no shampoo or hair dryer. But it’s clean, clean, clean. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

I recently stayed here and they put me in the annex building, a bit down the street from the hotel. It was a decent room as it was recently renovated. Great roomy bathroom with a nice tub and shower unit. Lots of hot water too. Flat screen TV worked well with lots of channels.
