Large, clean room with fridge, microwave, desk and table. Very comfortable bed. Nice, new vinyl floors. Great for a six day stay at a very reasonable price. Only downside was the very high pet fee of $50.00 per night, almost as much as the room fee! Most of the staff were lovely, helpful and polite. Just a little taken aback by one staff member who chose to approach me late at night while walking the dogs to demand that I go pay for them right away in the morning. She accused me of not being honest and that just rubbed me the wrong way! Otherwise, I would stay here again any time.

We stayed at Motel La Siesta because of its location near my son's new home in Greenfield Park. Our arrival was delayed from late afternoon to very late evening (11 pm). We had not really gotten dinner and had no chance to buy snacks or wine. When we arrived, we were happy to find that the lobby sold wine/beer and snacks. There were even real wine glasses in the room. Hotel was clean and quiet.

My friends and I booked three rooms for the weekend. We got smoking rooms although we are not smokers because the others were all booked. It was a terrible idea. The carpets (which held in the terrible cigarette smell) had holes in it and were stained. The beds were nice and the sheets were not stained or dirty. The bathroom and sink area was also disgusting with lighter burns and cigarette stains. Only one room had cups in it. Another had one wine glass. Two out of three fridges worked. There was also only two small towels given to our room with four people in it. Same story for the other two rooms. The fire alarm in the other room was also out of the ceiling.
Apart from that the service was wonderful and the main desk was very helpful guiding us around the bus schedules and subway confusions. It was also inexpensive which was very convenient and it had good positioning which was only a 20 dollar cab ride away from Rue St. Catherines. There was good and bad there.
I would like to have seen what the non smoking rooms were like.

I started with a one-bed (queen) room with a jacuzzi BESIDE THE BED! Could have lived with that since I was, at the outset, alone (or if I had been on my honeymoon!). I was in Longueuil for a wedding and learned that my son from Virginia was joining me. So I asked at the office if I could change to a two-bed room and Gloria was wonderfully helpful. She was able to move me to a different (also non-smoking) room the same day that I arrived, this despite it being a holiday weekend. My son arrived the next day, so we each had a bed (and a private bathroom with shower). One comment for the owner: the deadbolt on the exterior door did not align with the strike plate, so the door could not be locked that way. The continental breakfast was a bit spartan--as a senior (society's assessment, not mine), I would have liked some bran flakes, but that's just me or possibly my contemporaries. Anyway, lots of fast-food within walking distance. All in all, this was a completely comfortable stay, and i would not hesitate to stay there again. At the risk of being repetitive, the service was outstanding.

I stayed at this motel for four nights in June of 2016. It is a traditional style of motel so don’t expect anything fancy. That being said, I just needed a room, I didn’t require the amenities that a larger hotel would offer, so it fit my needs. The room was clean; the bathroom seemed to have been redone recently which was nice. There was a microwave, mini-fridge, flat screen TV, shampoo/conditioner (combo) and soap. The room is smallish but then again, it is a motel…I’d say it is a standard size for a motel. I was located next to a room used to store motel cleaning supplies etc. This room was in use by staff from the morning to night, so I got a little extra noise (thumping) from that but I wasn’t in the room that much. Despite being located near the lobby, I didn’t hear many people walking pas the lobby, or cars starting in the parking lot. Overall….3 solid stars and good budget choice.

We were looking for an inexpensive stay not too far from Montreal downtown and Motel La Siesta satisfied our needs. There was nothing spectacular in this motel, but the standard non-smoking room was clean and there was no problem with service. The only really inconvenient thing about this motel is a ridiculously small area for breakfast. With all chairs occupied, people had to stand to wait for their turn to enjoy a very modest breakfast.

We were here last in 2013 in the winter and the room was clean, nice beds and warm. My wife and I came back again this summer for a party with friends. The rooms are still as clean and neatly kept. I would recommend this place always.

Stayed here for one night a few weeks ago. Was impressed with the condition of the room, cleanliness of the exterior and fresh continental breakfast included with the room charge. What made this motel stand out though was not the rooms or the property, but the staff who work there. By industry standards, they are top notch, as such, would caution the owner to pay your staff industry grade wages...you never know when an Undercover Tourist might come to stay for a night....am just saying;) Might recommend the owner(s) review what Jamie Diamond has accomplished with his worldwide holdings. Your staff are loyal though underpaid, especially if given additional tasks. Might suggest a flat hourly rate, then add $1-2 more per hour for additional skills or tasks they perform, such as language skills, or additional responsibilities like assistant manager, cleaning the breakfast dining room etc. Would also recommend you hire chefs so as to enhance your reputation with room service. I look forward to returning next month so as to check up on your progress. Best wishes!

Stayed here with my son a few weeks ago. I was very pleased with the service I received. Everyone at this hotel was not only very accommodating but was extremely helpful in teaching me how to get around Montreal. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel which can take you to the Metro. I have no reservations about recommending this motel to friends and family. I am already planning on returning next year same time.
