We stayed in a king suite with pull out couch. Room was clean and spacious. No tub in room. Really enjoyed the large shower with spa shower head (6 jets, a wand, waterfall spout and rain shower head). The hotel does not have elevators, so if you're on the second floor be prepared for stairs. Pool is large and the kids enjoyed the dumping buckets and underwater lights. Hot tub is small and the bin for pool towels was always empty. The food at the restaurant is tasty with large portions, but be prepared for slow service. If you order room service you have to go to the restaurant to pickup they do not deliver to your room. The play structure needs more mats in front of the slide and is missing pieces. The hotel placed plastic toddler chairs in those areas as a fix. It was NOT safe for little kids.

During these trying times we were unable to do traditional shows for our customers but we booked a beautiful bank of rooms. The organization by the hotel to book the facility and meet all of our needs (which were many and vast) all exceeded our expectations. The renovated rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. Food at the restaurant was excellent and we will no longer go anywhere else for this event after the service we received. I even brought my kids and stayed an extra day to enjoy the pool that just opened!! Thank you for a wonderful week!!!

We booked in to a room with two queen beds and a bonus bunk bed room. As a family traveling with 3 kids it was absolutely perfect.
Front desk check in by Michelle was quick and convenient, we asked for a few extra towels and they were brought up within minutes. Very attentive and friendly.
The room was clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is large with a step in shower with upgraded jet/rainfall shower heads. There is a Keurig coffee maker and a mini-fridge in room.
Breakfast was great, voucher to the onsite restaurant. Staff at restaurant were quick and attentive. We ended up also having a lunch at the restaurant and were again very happy with service and food.
The pool is small, only 0.85-1.1m deep but was perfect for our family. The kids loved the blue underwater lights and splash park style buckets of water that tipped over into the pool (very avoidable if you don't appreciate water splashing your face). The hot tub is small, 6 people limit, but nice to relax in. The pool area was clean, lots of fresh pool towels on hand.
There is ample parking, easy location to access and a lot of businesses in the area!
Highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed here before on business trips and little changes, although kudos to the nicer showers. Although this budget hotel has most everything that one expects in a hotel room (TV, fridge, desk, free Wifi, coffee maker, blow dryer etc.) it just feels so very dated, musty and muggy. Carpets throughout the hotel are horrible and look dirty. Also, there is a central pool area and the layout of the hotel (more like a motel) is such that rooms on two levels either face inside to the pool area or outside. My room faced inside which made me feel rather claustrophobic and also contributed I’m sure to the muggy and musty feel in the room. It’s also very noisy during the day when all the kids are in the pool. I had a very bad headache in my two day stay here. Ask for a room facing to the outside. Note also that there is no elevator. Although it’s not a lot of steps to the second level, it’s difficult with a heavy suitcase and certainly not welcoming to individuals who are mobility challenged. Bedding is average to subpar. All in all, not particularly a pleasant place to stay and the two day business trip was more than enough.

The restaurant is decent and the staff are very nice.

Checked the reviews and this seemed like it would be a really nice place. Miranda at the front desk was very friendly and she tried her best to be helpful. Things we liked: room was a decent size, it was very convenient to where we were visiting family, you could open the window, quiet, large shower, breakfast - food, was really good.

Things we didn't like; room was not clean asked them to vacuum, 3 times (dog food and popcorn on floor), mirrors and tv screen streaking and dirty , shower nozzles were difficult to operate, asked for towels twice and did not get them - one of the towels looked dirty, lamp shade broken, service in restaurant was poor and LAST BUT NOT LEAST, my vehicle was hit the second night in the parking lot.

Arrived later than expected, and the front desk attendant was kind enough to hold the reservation and stay around to check us in. The hotel was in a very central location, with an easy commute to all the locations we needed to visit. The room was nice enough, a little small though. Only real negative for me was the wait for breakfast - In one instance, we had to seat for almost an hour before getting food.

My wife and I booked a king room quite as a launching pad for our explorations into southwestern Manitoba. The bed, suite, and kitchenette were fantastic. The bathrooms are really quite exceptional as well. The interior renovations the hotel have made over the last few years are really well done and we enjoyed our stay. As others have mentioned a little exterior renovation would help to showoff what the hotel has done for the interior. All-in-all a great place to sleep we had no complaints with the rooms.

The only negative issue for us for the hotel was that the Red Cross had booked up much of the hotel as a result of forest fires up north. This meant the hotel was really quite loud throughout much of the evening and night and the pool was insanely busy and unsupervised. Cannot complain that people are fleeing fires though or who pays and books the hotel.

As a family of 5 plus a dog and travelling all day, we were looking forward to a calm and relaxing evening. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the hot tub didn’t work. We booked a poolside room and planned on spending most of our evening at the pool. It would have been nice to have known about the hot tub when we booked the room over the phone.Needless to say, the grown ups were disappointed. My kids were also disappointed as there was a bunch of rowdy birthday boys that overtook the whole pool and were not aware of their surroundings… no fault of the boys, just an unfortunate situation. There were plenty of adult partygoers around the pool… at one point there was a group of intoxicated men yelling at each other right outside our door. So, if you want a quiet evening, don’t book a poolside room. They charged us $30 to bring our dog, yet, had no green space or designated area for pets. We were also charged $10 for a cot as they didn’t have any rooms available that could sleep 5. The shower was absolutely useless. It looked really modern, but had no water pressure and was a terrible to use, especially if you are tall. I think what was the worst part was I forgot my AirPods. I used find my iPhone app to locate them and they were in the hotel. We called a few times to tell them that we would come back for them. However… they were very unhelpful in searching for them. We were told that they would speak with housekeeping and give us a phone call back. Haven’t heard anything. Don’t waste your hard earned money staying here.

Not a full service hotel very limited menu and only 4 verity of beer !
Guests were manly stuck in the farthest area from food and drinks.
And by far the (WORST) bed I have ever tried to sleep on.
Staff were friendly and tried to blame the lack offerings on Covid even though other places have managed to restock there bars and restaurants

The hotel has lots of bugs

When I checked into my room, the first thing I saw was a bug crawling across my bed heading to the pillows. I returned to the front desk and asked for a different room in another part of the hotel which they did.

I was staying here for a work conference with a group of other colleagues so as much as I wanted to leave, I felt inclined to stay so I checked the room the gave me afterwards and didn’t see anything so I tried to settle in but I still felt pretty gross at seeing the bugs in the other room.

So after struggling to fall asleep, at 6am my phone goes off from a text message from the fro t desk apologizing about the bugs I. The first toon. Having been woken up now, turned the lights on and saw there were bugs crawling around on the floor of the new room.

When I told the front desk about the bugs in the new room they said there’s lots of bugs around and sometimes they come inside and it’s hard to stop them. So they actually acknowledged an issue but when I asked what they are doing about it, they more or less said nothing.
