Great hotel in the heart of Victoria! Clean + modern rooms with friendly staff. The hotel is just a few blocks from the harbor and other downtown spots yet was still quiet and a nice place to return to at the end of the night. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The location is amazing, you can go walking to Chinatown and to the harbour as well. The hotel is quite nice and clean, staff at the front desk and breakfast were really nice. We were provided a discount of 10 dollars because we didn't ask for the room cleaning one day which we could use to eat breakfast, we thought this is such a good idea. I stayed there only for 2 nights but really enjoyed it.

Our experience with this hotel was simply fabulous! The staff was very friendly and went above an beyond our expectations by letting us store our bikes in a safe room. The room was very cleaned with some Italian touch such as Lavazza Espresso and Acqua di Parma shower gel and shampoo. In the heart of downtown, it's at walking distance from many restaurants and pubs and from the Parliament building. Would definitely go back!

A really great location, walking distance to so many sites, restaurants and bars in downtown victoria. The staff are all extremely friendly always making us feel welcomed and making us laugh. The bar staff working at the Palms were great, we spent every happy hour with them because they were so great and made fantastic cocktails. The hotel took necessary covid precautions. Valet parking on site or reasonable public parking a block away in a parkade ($16 a day). This is a historic building so the rooms are all configured differently and some may be a bit smaller than you are accustomed to but they are clean and have everything you need including a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Stayed here for 3 days in 2019, perfect location walking distance to everything, that was the best part. The rooms were clean but small. If you opt out of cleaning service while staying they give you a discount on your breakfast and it was delicious. Enjoyed the breakfast every day, great service and the price was very reasonable with the discount. However the cheese tray was a disappointment, don't bother this was not enough for even one person. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay the hotel is on the higher price range at $399 a night. But it was very close to everything so that made up for the price. We walked everywhere.

Hi Eve, Thank you so much for your review. Due to the heritage and boutique nature of our hotel, the rooms all have different layouts. If you would like a room that is a little less 'cozy', please just let our front desk know for the next time that you stay with us. The feedback on our complimentary cheese plate is very timely as we are looking to switch up our 'welcome treat' for our guests in the near future. We hope to welcome you back again sometime soon! Take care.

This was our 4th stay at the Rialto, and we enjoyed our return visit. The hotel is in a bust area of downtown, across from City Hall, the waterfront is just a couple few blocks away. We stayed in a superior King room, it was very spacious, all the regular amenities which all functioned well. The room had windows on 2 sides, with very effective blackout blinds. There is noise from the street, being in the middle of downtown, but after the first night we were used to it and it didn’t bother us, earplugs are provided if needed. The room was very clean, and we only required a towel change midway through, if any room amenities need replenishment it is readily available .
There is a lounge/restaurant on the first floor, which we didn’t have the opportunity to check out, although we did miss the morning service of coffee and baked goods in the cafe. There is coffee and fruit available near the front desk, which we made use of every day.
The highlight of this hotel is the front desk staff, they are all very accommodating, knowledgeable and excellent at doing their job. The front desk staff leave you wanting to return, and we hope to again some day.

I booked a last minute trip to Victoria and decided to book at this hotel because of its rating and proximately to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a king suite at no extra charge and they stored my bike overnight in a locked room.

Parking around the corner in an underground lot that seems pretty safe and it’s free on Sundays so I only paid $1 to park for Saturday afternoon until I left Sunday afternoon. Amazing deal but it’s about a block away. The room was very clean and comfortable, same with the bathroom. Not much of a view from my room, except for other hotel rooms but I spent most of my time outdoors so I wasn’t too worried about that.

There is a liquor store next door that offer a 10% discount for hotel guests which is a nice touch, and there is plenty of restaurants and bars very close by.

I took a bike ride in the morning and the staff were so nice to let me have a really late checkout which was really appreciated!! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel, I will definitely stay there again.

Me & My husband very much enjoyed 6days in Victoria with Hotel Rialto.

We stayed in Superior(Danzo) King Suite.
Bed mattress and pillows are very nice and comfortable.
We loved to see beautiful sunset through the window everyday.
One of my favorite part is bathroom heated floor!!
It gives me nice warm feeling everytime i step on the floor. There is also ductless heating and cooling systems in bedroom and living room area.
We felt safe during our stay (hand sanitizer in elevator,
all staff are wearing face masks).

perfect location for walking around downtown Victoria.

And from beginning to the end,
we would like to thank Mabel & Enes for your service.
You guys are very friendly, helpful and kind.

We will definitely come back here!

If you're watching this review and planning to go
to Victoria, stay in Hotel Rialto! You won't regret.

We stayed for two nights at the Rialto and I would give it the highest recommendation possible. Our stay began with a very friendly and helpful welcome at reception (and we were able to check in early which was a real bonus!) explaining all about the hotel. We were then offered a platter of cheese at any time during our stay!! This really was well utilised when we later came back from walking around the city. There is a bus stop just outside the front door - well about 50 mt4s away - so having explained the use of the local buses we never had to use our car during the stay. The room (a junior suite) was extremely quiet and very comfortable - especially the bed! A very big bathroom and a sitting room equipped with microwave, kettle etc was perfect. Everything in immaculate presentation. The restaurant (Veneto) was superb. My pork fillet has to be one of the best I have ever had. Even if you do not stay in the hotel I would highly recommend going to this restaurant. Staff were attentive and so friendly. Nothing was too much for them and we thank them again for all their help. So I recommend the Rialto for anyone staying in Victoria. We stayed for two night and would have loved to linger longer.

We stayed for 2 nights during Covid, so things were not as they would normally have been, but have no fear, this place was spotless!! Our room while being very small, was clean and the bathroom itself was strangely large, almost as big as the room itself. There is no bathtub, but they did have a large shower. A few cons here ( for us anyway ) was the fact that there weren't any mirrors in the room itself to use if your spouse was in the bathroom. Most rooms we have stayed in have at least one in the room either over a desk or a full length on the back of the bathroom door to use. This would have been most helpful. Also, since our room was directly across an alley facing into windows of ? apartments, or an office we had to keep our curtains closed which made the room very dark and there wasn't enough lights in the room to help with this. There was a very small almost child sized wardrobe to put some cloths and that was it for storage space, not even a bed side table on one side of the bed. Odd. The room was listed as " superior queen", which was confusing once we got into the room, other than the fact that it was clean, what was it that made it superior? We weren't sure. We only stayed for 2 nights so it was good enough, but if your stay is to be longer it will be a very squashy time for sure. We felt we paid a lot for this small room without one dresser in it for storage. Like my title says, the location was perfect, with walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go so that is a huge plus. No worries about cleanliness either, so no stress about that. The staff were very friendly and helpful pointing out places of interest and always willing to stop and answer any questions.

Thank you very much for staying with us at Hotel Rialto, and for sharing your experience. It is terrific to read that you enjoyed the hotel, the location and our service. I can appreciate your feedback about the room size. As a heritage property we have a less 'cookie cutter' configuration, and we do have a few rooms that are smaller than others. I agree an additional mirror would be an asset and I will follow up! Natalie King

There is 2 options. Find your own in a parking garage. Or use the valet for $25 a day. We used the valet. It was easy. And no hassle of getting the car from the garage.

We arrived by train and took the “water bus” (ticket fare required) to and from our hotel. Speaking with others, there is a further stop where one then makes transfer to Marco Polo. I read this comment online: “They (taxis) can be expensive (a ride from Venice Marco Polo Airport can easily set you back 100 euros or more), but because water taxis hold more passengers than a land taxi does, the cost per person isn't too bad if you can split the fare with friends or a small group.Feb 17, 2010” I don’t know hours of operation, especially at 4 in the morning. Why not contact the hotel? I suggest reading about transportation options at the online italyogue
