The price is great for a room with a king-sized bed and small dinette. We travel with wax-burner "scents" when we are in areas that have pulp mills or refinery smells so odours are usually not an issue. It is an older Inn with economical updates and great for one-night stays or if one is on a budget. So far, this is the most economical and most reasonable, considering cleanliness, price, size, features. There is no elevator (only two floors?). Ask for lower level if you can't take stairs. Also, there is a decorative metal fence surrounding the walkway on the lower level which one must skirt all the way around--no problem if you travel light or enjoy the exercise of going all the way around to unload/load.

We've stayed here a number of times over the past few years, generally during Prince George Dance Festival week in March, but occasionally during other times of the year. It is always busy, and frequently fully booked - I'd recommend making a reservation.

We've stayed in various rooms/suites and had good experiences in all. Furniture is quite new, beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are small & basic but clean. Smallish towels but no big deal. Fridges/microwaves in all Queen bed rooms we stayed in, plus once in a full kitchenette/King-size bed suite which was well laid out.

Despite being close to the highway we've always found it to be quiet. Really decent basic stay facility. For the price - $69 to $79 - definitely worth checking out.

Basic motel great value at $69.00 night with a well equipped kitchenette. Have stayed multi times. Well maintained -good beds ,great staff. Only negative well away from tourist attractions, shopping or business center. if travelling from east, west or north a bit difficult to access as you must travel through residential areas to get to it.From the south you have direct access from highway 97.

TWICE we have pre-booked a bottom floor room as this property doesn’t have elevators. The first time for my 83 y/o gma & the second time because we came back from a trip overseas with a lot of heavy luggage. BOTH TIMES they made us stay on the top!

We have stayed at this hotel once before and though we didn't have a first good impression, we figured we'd give it another chance as the price was right and its close to the airport. First of all, we couldn't get into our room as the key didn't work. Got the manager and he tried. Locks were frozen. No surprise as the gaps around the door let steady streams of frigid air into the room. Finally got in. Room looked presentable enough. Sheets were clean. However, bathroom was DISCUSTING! There was hair on the floor all around the toilet, some sort of goopy stuff on the toilet paper holder and stain that looked like dried blood on the bathmat. Gross. This will be the last time we give this place a 'second chance'.

very clean rooms. Smelled fresh when you entered and stayed that way. Fabric on chairs all very clean and fresh looking. Only drawbacks were no glass in bathroom for water and no coffee machine. there was a fridge and microwave though.
hotel is hard to get to if you are coming south. Going north the access is easy. Convenient as its next to a gas station as well. Good service there.

For $69.00 per night I was not expecting such a clean room, very friendly reception, super clean and quiet room, even though a bus of young people stayed there, it was a great stay, lots of parking, access right off highway 97, one of the first hotel coming to Prince George from the south

The size of the rooms are good. It is actual a lovely space for a motor inn. But there was a funky smell in the room and little broken things, like door knobs and stuff. Beds were clean. Staff was nice. Just in need of some overall detail work on the little things.

I enjoyed the initial stay overall it was affordable and front desk was quick, room was decent. However the next morning an Indian women Im assuming it was a staff member was very rude, she did not speak english very well. I was in need of toiletries and she ignored me and started yelling at either a male customer or another employee. I almost couldnt believe it.

The owner was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable!! We were traveling with 5 children and we were looking for something that would fit us all in one room!! He offered us a 2 bedroom suite with a living room, kitchen, dining room and large bathroom!! TV in the living room and bedroom. He charged us a reasonable rate and I will recommend 97 Motor Inn to anyone that is looking for a quick overnight stay :)
