Times are tough for businesses but that didn't stop the staff from giving us 5 diamond service. As I should have wrote this about 2 weeks ago, I forget the names of those involved. It was the evening manager and 2 daytime front desk staff.
My father was celebrating his 94th birthday and as he and my mother are in a retirement home, the rest of the family were not allowed inside due to Covid.
Since my wife and I were staying there, we asked the hotel (there was not food service of any kind) if it was possible to use a table at the restaurant and bring our own food.
I was blown away at how accommodating they were. Not only did they sanitize the entire restaurant, they offered plates, glasses etc...I know this seems simple but during these somewhat challenging times, they made an elderly couple extremely happy. My father said it was the best birthday he can remember. Not a stretch for a guy who us 94.

Rented a king size room with a pond view...definitely going back. Room was really clean, nothing was broken or tattered. Ordered food from uptown and as soon as the front desk saw our food they offered plates and utensils. We were very happy with the choice we made by going there...our #1 place to stay in Chilliwack!

This was our first visit to a Coast Hotel and it won’t be our last. Our room was complete with a great king sized bed, wonderful 8th floor view looking over a lake and a small park, updated bathroom with a Toto “Washlet” installed (more about this later), large main room with a bank of windows, comfortable seating and Starbucks coffee for breakfast. Doesn’t get much better than this! We also made use of the room service for our New Year’s Eve dinner...great food, quick delivery and HOT.
The hotel is “greening” itself with recyclable coffee cups, no cleaning service during your stay if you don’t need it, pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus the “Washlet”...this is an add on to the toilet that does all the “necessary” duties plus its HEATED! Nice! It also cuts way down on toilet paper use which has to be a good thing. Check in, check out was seamless and lots of good parking available. Two big thumbs up on our stay!

We chose Coast Chilliwack Hotel for its proximity to family on a recent trip to the mainland.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Jolene at the front desk, who explained the Covid19 protocols and where our room was.
On the 9th floor, our room's view overlooked the parking lot, SaveOn Foods and other businesses below. Because it was our first stay in the city, we were interested to see a new place.
Bed was cozy, kettle that we requested arrived promptly and the room size had plenty of space to stow clothes.
We loved the Toto Washlet heated toilet seat as well as the environment friendly toiletries.
Would happily return to the Coast Chilliwack Hotel.

This hotel is a good location for easy access to anywhere in Chilliwack. Needs some serious upgrading, the room didn't even have a USB plug! King bed was great. All the other furniture needs to be modernized . Stayed 7 nights, but "because of covid " there was No Housekeeping. Had to request coffee, towels, toilet paper, etc even sheets to change your own bed. No vacuuming. Overall not really impressed with this hotel. The hotel was a damper on our vacation this year. For patrons staying more than 2 days I feel exceptions for housekeeping could and should have been made. Over priced for under serviced.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Staff was a pleasure to deal with, the building was clean and well maintained. Beds were super comfortable, and the room has a easy to sanitize remote which really helps with peace of mind with pandemic going on. Pet friendly, with a park just behind the hotel.

This hotel is located in the old downtown Chilliwack. Nothing much in this area except you'll be right beside Save on Foods. There is no free breakfast unlike Comfort Inn. Typical breakfast is so pricey averaging $18.00 per person. Parking is wide open with no security at all. Sketchy people roaming around outside hotel premises.
Always ask for a garden view or else you'll end up staring outside with nothing worth to see except the grocery store and parking lot.
This hotel is clean and proud to advertise its electric bidet which wash your butt after you comfort yourself. But the thing is you'll have to read the instructions carefully to be able to figure how to use it. Worst, the water pressure is so low even you set it up on high. Might as well use the tissue paper.
But there is a silver lining in this hotel. Keep an eye on those package deals. I got a $25.00 gas card promo for every night I stayed. I stayed two nights so I got $50.00 worth of gas which is more than enough all the way to Kelowna!

I travel to Chilliwack several times a year and usually stay at the Coast. This location is perfect for my needs, close to the vibrant downtown area for dining out and shops. The staff are always wonderful and helpful. The rooms are somewhat “tired” and could use a refresh with more attention to detailed cleaning. Being the one and only “upscale” hotel in the center of town, if some love was put into the rooms and more attention to room cleanliness, this hotel could certainly easily be worth the nightly room rates they charge, but currently i do not believe the value is there, although it is easier to accept if you can get a good discounted rate… but that really shouldn’t be a factor, I believe all rooms within the hotel should reflect the overall quality and cleanliness that patrons can expect at any price point within the hotel.

I was called and advised that my dad wasn’t doing well in long term care and should come to visit. My mom and I stayed there together for 6 nights. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Until they had a microwave available, they heated up anything I brought to them. The pillows are very thick, but housekeeping brought me a flatter one as soon as I requested. I thought the COVID protocols were very good with providing service with minimal interaction. I would recommend a room on the pond side for view as well as noise. We were on the city side and could frequently hear sirens. I have stayed here before and will do so again

Lady bugs everywhere in our room and fake eyelashes stuck to the side of the desk, staff told us that the bugs like to come in when its cold outside and nothing they can do about it. No manager on staff to help with our issues, the front staff only offered 50% off which in my opinion is still over paying for this hotel. If you get what they call a luxury water view you can watch the homeless bathe themselves.

I think because when you book you book with a central booking agent and not the hotel directly but I would only be guessing!
