A/C control unit was located on the wall but was not communicating with the unit and we were unable to shut it off and it was blowing cold air on a high setting. Staff members offered to relocate us to a diferent room however we were ready for bed so 2nd alternative was for manager to disconnect unit. This worked great.

I was very pleased with this hotel.We booked this spot to save a bit of $$$ compared to staying on-site at Calgary airport. We were overnighting in Calgary, en route to Mexico.
Airport shuttle was on time, quick and prompt. Shuttles ran every 15 min back to airport in morning, which made it very easy to plan for our international flight. Driver was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed.
Hotel was well designed, clean and check in was easy. My husband and son had a quick swim in the pool, which was clean and a good temperature. We ordered pizza dinner delivered to our room for dinner, and it arrived within 20 min from a restaurant nearby.
We liked the fact that the room has a separate bedroom, and full kitchen. We needed to pack some food along for long flights the next day, and this option made it ideal for us. We were not able to partake in the free breakfast the next day, because our flight left too early, I was still satisfied that the hotel was a good value.
Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, and there was good temperature control/black out blinds in all rooms. Overall, I would recommend this property as an option for families who need to overnight in Calgary on the way to other destinations!

This weekend I celebrated my 50th birthday. Due to being very immunocompromised, we couldn’t have a party during this time. Trying to make my weekend special, my husband searched the area for a hotel with a view of the mountains as he knows how much I love the Rockies. He arrived at this hotel and gently grilled the desk staff about views and cleanliness. Not only did they pick a special room for us with a spectacular view of both the city and the mountains, they made us feel safe they had fully sanitized the room. (Bless my husband for doing a bit of extra to be really safe, though we likely didn’t need it.) I arrived to the room to a birthday card signed by all the staff and a little treat. What a wonderful surprise! Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious. And to top it all off, the rate was affordable. I look forward to returning in the future. It was clean, felt safe, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’m also considering them for an event when we can return to gatherings in the future! Thank you, Homewood Calgary for such a lovely way to celebrate a milestone!

Currently staying at the hotel. This location is far below brand standards. The manager Lance does try and address things as they are brought to his attention but there are many things that should just work rather than having to bring them to a managers attention.
First issue, our flight arrived late and rental car facility was closed. We talked with desk agent at checkin and we were told to just call when we needed the shuttle in the morning. We called but were then told we needed reservations and were told to wait an hour. They were eventually able to get us to the airport sooner when i spoke with a manager, but this level of miscommunication should not happen.
Second day the free breakfast had no plates available for at least 10 minutes. A line of up to 8 people for the waffle station, which was likely due to the fact that all other hot food had not been replenished and the warming trays were empty. I opted for a bagel with no cream cheese as they failed to replenish the cream cheese, butter, and other condiments.
I was received that I don't drink coffee as there was a line of grumpy people with empty cups waiting for that as well.
I get that these free breakfast place have some minor challenges keeping the bar stocked, but this was really next level mismanagement during the 9:00 am time slot.
Oh. I also requested clean towels that were never brought to my room.
It seems that the hotel is poorly staffed and not ready for even a modest number of travelers at this time.

For half the price of a hotel downtown you get a bedroom with two queen beds, bathroom, living room and a full kitchen with dishes. The to go Covid breakfast was not great but what are you going to do. Tim Hortons across the street. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Ample parking.

At 9 pm at night, after several cancelled flights, I did a search for airport hotels. I went on the HOMEWOOD by Hilton website and saw a $84 rate, which I promptly booked and paid for on cc. Once I arrived at the hotel however, the check-in charged me double that rate plus tax and a $25 incidental fee. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told that rate was just to rent the room for the day for “meetings”. I asked why the rate was still up at 9:00 pm at night, when clearly the day was over. This rate is very misleading! I have emailed Hilton and waiting for a response. I was also given the key to a room and it was already occupied with other visitors. That was extremely embarrassing for them and myself.
The next room I was given was weirdly appointed (had to manoeuvre around a large chair to get in the bedroom). It was clean, however.
I went down for breakfast and watched the woman putting out the breakfast repeatedly touch her face (mask under nose) then touch the intensive and food. I did not eat after that.

We have learned that during a short window, many hotels were displaying a day-use program (9-5pm), meant for work purposes outside of the home, and received a variety of similar bookings. We were in town to visit the vet specialist. This was one of the best priced hotels that offered pet friendly rooms in the location we needed it in. Clean rooms, updated, nice swimming pool and great staff!

Homewood Suites is truly my home away from home! This is the only place I stay when I come to Calgary. I have been staying here for 9yrs now and the service is always outstanding! The staff has always been warm, welcoming and inviting. They will always welcome you with a smile, help with recommendations, offer assistance with requests and provide a clean and comfortable stay! This location reads your reservation notes (most don't), and make the room feather free due to my allergies without my having to call back down to complain. ALWAYS 10/10, see you all again in a couple of months!

I asked for a room with a good view and the hotel staff in charge went above and beyond to give me the best room on the top level.
Somehow we must have mistakenly press a movie channel on demand that we never watch. Although we were made aware of the billing at the point of check out, we were billed for the movie we never watch. At the point of check out, we explained to the staff in charge that we’ve never watch the movie. We were being honest because the kid wouldn’t have watch that type of movie anyways.
We asked the attendant in charge to permit us to speak with the manager in charge. The manger later credit our card, he called and sent us an e-mail to thank us and notified us about the refund. We are definitely going back to this hotel again.

After 3 weeks of being bounced around by airline cancelations we found ourselves at Homewood suites YYC for 4 nights waiting for air travel. It was the best stay of our travels. Most airport hotels are just stop overs and client courtesy is not top of mind. But this hotel delivered amazing service throughout our stay. The front desk (specially Garth) was extremely helpful as was all the cleaning/kitchen staff we encountered. All were very friendly and eager to please. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to stay outside of downtown Calgary. Close to shopping and eating.

We allow up to two pets in a room and we have a non-refundable fee of $75 for the length of stay. Our pet rooms are on the lower floors.
Our pool is currently open, with limited capacity due to Covid Restrictions.
