The Beach Palace All Inclusive hotel garners acclaim for its attentive staff and dedication to guest satisfaction. Cleanliness is a highlight, with well-maintained pools and tidy rooms, despite some areas needing improvement. With its prime location and vibrant atmosphere, celebrated with live music and festive welcomes, guests find it conveniently close to attractions. The amenities, including diverse dining and activities, are popular even as some guests note service inconsistencies and limited pool space. However, the value perception is marred by unexpected costs and restricted access, while room cleanliness and noise can be problematic for some.

Hotel's Favourite
Decided to write a review because our 3 families just returned from Beach Palace and had a wonderful time! Each family had 2 adults and older children (ages 18 to 23). We booked through a family member who has a VIP membership. From what we can tell, there are different levels of membership (if you rent through a member). The highest being Diamond, second highest VIP, which is a black bracelet. We had a family member who is a VIP member and that is who we booked through (family member was NOT on trip with us). There are some amenities that are only for Diamond members like the covered cabanas on the beach. VIP level w/black bracelet can use the beds with umbrellas, which were still good and comfortable. Didn’t really feel like we were missing out on anything. There is beachside wait staff service for endless food and drinks.
Overall, it was a great experience! We learned a few things that we would do differently next time, but would definitely (and are) going back next year. Admittedly, the resort does need some decor updates/facelift. But honestly, it was much, much better than what many of the reviews led us to believe before we arrived— so don’t worry. It is very clean and nice (both inside and outside). The staff is always cleaning and restocking, and you can easily use the Beach Palace App to reorder toilet paper, tissues, toothpaste, etc! We were supplied with “Chi” brand shampoo, conditioner AND a blowdryer and straightening iron to use during our week-long stay.

As far as the resort buffet food goes, it was OK. We have been to many resorts and on cruises, and it was just about like all the rest. It is evident that the staff work very hard to keep the main buffet well-stocked with many options. If you ask or request something they are happy to oblige if possible (they made me oatmeal because I had not seen it on the breakfast buffet, but it actually WAS there, I just hadn’t found it). The staff service made the buffet better than most others I have seen. It doesn’t hurt to be kind and give nice tips!

The restaurants were good, especially the steak at The Smokehouse. We also liked the asian/fusion restaurant, Momo. For a more casual dining experience, we went to the Italian restaurant, “Távola” and were pleasantly surprised! The pizza was awesome and pastas were very good! The other Italian restaurant is called “Gondola” and we felt it could have been better, but the dessert was excellent! Staff was always VERY attentive and hardworking to accommodate an allergy or special request at all restaurants and the buffet.

By the way, speaking Spanish is definitely an advantage, but we were able to communicate clearly with most staff for the most part (in English) and be understood. We did not need reservations at any of the restaurants and did not have to wait long at all. The week we were there was just after the Spring break (busier weeks of March and first week of April). So it was perfect for us!

The staff, if treated, as you would want to be treated, is amazing! So attentive and most of them always go above and beyond. Main Pool Bartenders Alfredo and Roman were excellent! They were so much fun and remembered our names and what each person drinks. They came up with excellent tasting shots for our many group toasts (even some great drinks without alcohol).

Although this resort is on the smaller side compared to Moon Palace, if you are a beach person, this is definitely the place to go. In other parts of Cancun, the beaches do not have the clear water and ombre blue/turquoise colors like at Beach Palace. Our room was an ocean view, 6th floor for a family of 4 and had the most spectacular view of the main pool and stunning ocean water. Just sitting on the balcony in the evenings listening to the water and watching the moon/sky was so peaceful! If you are a family going with younger children, just a warning-when we were there (April 21-27) the waves were very strong. It was not really amenable to kid inter-tubes and boogie boards for little ones like other places we have vacationed in the US (like Hilton Head or the Outer Banks). Did not see many sand castles because the water is strong and washed most attempts away. But the beach does have some cool sand bars where you walk out into the ocean, and it gets deep, but keep going, and it gets very shallow so you can stand on the sand again. Another review mentioned the large Conch shells they found down in the sand. We looked but never found any. There are other shells if you search well, though.

The main pool was great! Alexander, the water aerobics instructor was excellent and fun! They have pool and beach volleyball, water polo, underwater swim contests, beach soccer, and water zumba!

As far as what we learned…transportation off resort grounds gets expensive after a few trips. We went once to an authentic Mexican restaurant and once to Senior Frog’s for a party night out with our over 18 young adults. Use caution off resort grounds, and stay alert at all times, because the environment is not safe at night off the resort, especially near the bars/entertainment venues. We did not allow them to go ofc the resort without us.

Also learned that we should have just used the ferry to travel on a day trip to Isle de mujeres which was so much fun! Instead, we rented a boat which took much much longer to reach the island. You can rent golf carts on the island and drive yourself around for the day. We went to the beach with crystal clear water, shallow enough for standing. It was beautiful and relaxing. Careful-we almost stepped on a stingray! There is a ton of shopping for souvenirs and gifts (same type of touristy gift items), but there is also an art district that may have more upscale items (we didn’t make it there. Ran out of time).

One drawback at the resort was the plumbing. We called maintenance three different times because our toilet would not flush. One time it took a couple calls to get fixed, but the other two times they were prompt in fixing it. The other issue is the lights in the room. They shut off on their own as I’m sure they are probably on automatic timers. However, the whole lighting system is kind of screwy and takes a day to get used to (no big deal).

Overall, we are returning next year because we now know more about what to do and not to do. If you are on the fence about this all-inclusive, just remember that you get what you pay for, and it always pays to treat everyone with respect. Go with an open mind, and just have fun in the beautiful water, warm weather and awesome service!

Our family of 7 stayed at Beach for the 1st time ever. We had chosen this for the Cancún hotel zone beach and ocean colors. There was less than 10% occupancy that week. Vanessa our Diamond concierge and Regina the public relations manager took care of our presidential room requests and spa/dinner bookings in advance.

The hotel has 13 floors and both ocean /lagoon view rooms. There is one main pool area ocean front, a water slide for kids section, a roof top pool and bar that is great for sunsets. Due to safety precautions, restaurants are a la carte with digital menus or physical menus if requested. They provide gel sanitizer at every restaurant check in, spa reception, and all staff are masked at all times.

As a smaller resort, the staff were so attentive and went the extra mile to have made our trip memorable. Luis, Abraham and Alexandra in entertainment staff made it so fun for my family with water Vb, beach Vb and dance lessons etc. The nightly shows such as Michael Jackson, Pop stars and break dance team were entertaining.

The beach and pool drink/food service staff work so hard in the hot sun and sand. They will fill personal cups but swim up bars are closed for now. Cabanas and Bali beds are set up with towels and iced water buckets. Felix is a pool concierge for the members. Daniel, Rudy, Filiberto, Francisco took good care of our food and drink orders on the beach. The sports bar has pool tables, ping pong and a dance floor. Miguel the bartender kept us well served. Oscar the manager on duty sent us a special bottle of liquor 43.

One of our favorite restaurants is the Wok for Asian interpretations. Maricruz the captain worked with Mirna to get us a table full of small plates as a family style feast. Try the broccoli beef and tempura shrimp. Miguel is the sommelier that provided Moet for us and favorite moscato Mimos.

Other wait staff at Tequila that stand out are Diego, Ernesto and Miriam, Misael. Carlos at the steak house made us a meat platter of different cuts including flank, picanha, & sirloin. The chips and guac anywhere are always good.

Rooms are provided with Chi amenities and concierge level is L’Occitaine. Room service of boneless wings and cheese fries were my kids favorites for munchies.

If you’re looking for a smaller resort with a great beach front, this is a family resort that is affordable but with the top notch Palace standards.

Beach Palace for us has always been about the people; both the ones who work there and our fellow travelers we've met during our stays and see again year after year. We were deeply saddened to see many of the long time phenomenal employees we've grown to love absent this year. Grateful, as always, to Ernesto in Tequila and Lizbeth in the Spa for all they do year after year that is well above and beyond for our family.

To the newer management we'd suggest you don't major in the minors. When a table of long time returning members requests a beloved waiter for New Year's Eve grant rather than deny that request. Offering an all inclusive experience includes refilling the in room refrigerator daily; this should not have to be special requested now. Placing water buckets out by the pool or beach loungers to chill water bottles so we're not drinking at room temperature should be okay. When you have a collegiate athlete staying for 1 week out of 52 being slightly flexible with the main pool maintenance schedule to allow him to get his workout in at the crack of dawn rather than harassing him would be a nice gesture. It's the personal touches and the feeling that someone truly cares that used to set Beach Palace apart from others in the hotel zone.

Focus on fixing things like the slow elevators, one of which was out the majority of our stay. The chairs in Bocelli where men are requested to wear pants in the evening should reflect the same level of elegance and not be beat up, ripped and torn. The tubs in all the rooms shouldn't be leaking. Menus in the 3 a la carte restaurants need to be more expansive; there are no chicken dishes left in the Wok.

We met Milderdt in the Stadium Sports Bar and Luis in the Fitness Center this year both of whom also made our stay nicer. While we waited on average an hour for dinner each evening Milderdt took care of us with a smile. Luis turned the daily water aerobics into an actual workout while still having fun and the Aquatic Show that was brought in one afternoon was a delightful treat.

You got this Beach Palace; we know you can do better.

Stayed at the Palace Beach resort for 6 Days

Summary of my stay ...

The Positives..

The staff are wonderful, the resort is clean and the beach/ pools  are  beautiful..

But that so far are the only Positives..

The room I stayed in needed updating, and the in-room hard alcohol tasted funny,  like it was watered-down..

Drinks are sometimes  very good and other times not so good..

The restaurants I feel  were   below average for a five-star Resort.

The buffet has very few choices and the same items day after day.

The buffet was Average tasting and would run out of food items.

Food that I ordered at the pool came cold and soggy..

Was given $1,500 Resort credit but everything was way overpriced to use the credits.

As there not enough beach chairs for all resort guests, I would have to get up at 6am to reserve a chair.

The wristbands that also work as your room door key are big and uncomfortable to wear.

My room when I arrived was Not
ready/clean..  Half an open Coke from the previous  guest still in the refrigerator, no toilet paper???

Resort  need do better

Don’t be fooled by the $1500 in room credits because it’s next to impossible to get rid of them with all the ridiculous restrictions. We went to a meeting to hear about the time share which is basically just paying to be on the top of the caste system of the Beach Palace. When we asked to have time to think about the sales pitch they basically held us hostage and kept sending in different people to try to persuade us into buying. The restaurants do not take reservations ( unless you are buying the so called time share). We are a family of 6 and asked for adjoining rooms which apparently you can only get if you are a so called member. Unless you want to eat dinner at exactly 6PM you have to wait at least 2 hours for a table. The younger staff members act like they are doing you a favour by basically doing their job constantly asking for your room number to report you if you look at them the wrong way. Every single thing at this resort was a challenge. I would never go back to this resort!

We stayed from Dec 26 till Jan 2. Beach Palace always has a great New Years party that is usually over the top with both entertainment and food. in the past we've seen some great Christmas shows by the pool as well. The service is always impeccable. From Antonio a waiter in the buffet dancing with my wife to the great service at the pool by Rayli and Fernando you always get treated like royalty. Our favorite spot is the sky bar where Regina makes the best food and we are served fast by Bernardo and Rudy. During the busy season Beach opens up a lobby bar with specialty drinks made with a smile by Roman and his asst. Alfonso. We always get a great room from the fantastic front desk attendants like Jazmin, Marcus and Alejandra. Our favorite are the corner rooms getting a view of the lagoon and the beach, We always eat at Bococelli because the food is awesome and the service even better. Vladamir, Oscar and Roberto are like family. Speaking of family the brother team of Ernesto and Andreas always greet you with a smile. We also like to eat at the Asian restaurant and Pasqual is the best waiter, For a great massage ask for Veronica in the spa. Beach Palace takes care of your every need. Daniel in customer relations is always helpful. In fact my son left his Math book at the hotel and Daniel mailed it back to me. He has also helped with the pharmacy and with a discrepancy on our laundry bill. I cant recommend Beach Palace enough for your next family vacation.

I had the most amazing vacation at Beach Palace. From the moment I arrived with my family, I felt kindness and compassion extended to us by the hotel staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive safety measures put into practice at the hotel such as checking every person's temperature whenever returning to the hotel (even checking taxi driver's temperatures before we got into the vehicle), ample access to hand sanitizer sanitizing wipes, and even shoe sanitizing stations.

The pools were always clean and the perfect temperature, the beach and ocean view were magnificent, and I even had a couple workout sessions with the personal trainer Luis who gave me his undivided attention and tailored each workout to cater to my specific goals and activity level. Lastly, the restaurants were all amazing and 24hr room service was available. Any type of food, such as Italian, Oriental, Mexican, American, steak etc, were always at my dispense. To make the dining experience even better, Estefania (a hostess) and wonderful waiters such as Emilio and Raphael provided the best service and had my family leaving dinner laughing. I also had a relaxing spa day where I enjoyed a manicure and full body massage.

To top off the vacation, we had a photo session with DreamArt. The extremely talented photographer Luis captured beautiful moments of my family in different settings and Roberto provided a joy filled session to pick out which photos we would like to purchase.

I could truly go on and on about how much I enjoyed the beach palace was and I thank the staff (even those not mentioned) for making the vacation even that more special. I 100% recommend the hotel for anyone who's looking and hope that every person gets to experience the same thing.

Our stay at the Beach Palace Jan. 2-11th exceeded all expectations. It’s all the well thought out gestures that collectively make a very positive experience throughout the entire resort: 1) the staff are so attentive, helpful and friendly in every way possible from setting up beach umbrellas to serving food and drinks on the beach to offering to make any drink one desires 2) the washrooms are meticulously maintained throughout the hour all day 3) housekeeping is thorough and they even mop the floor inside the room! 4) turn down service was a real treat 5)the staff is very engaging and ever so friendly which makes the guests feel even more welcome 6) the staff comb the beach for seaweed daily 7) the service at the omelette station was outstanding 8)even the outside shower to hose off the sand off your feet provides warm water!
The level of attention to detail and the service of all staff is outstanding! The sandy beach and turquoise water is absolutely breathtaking. The the food and service at the restaurants and sky bar were excellent. The only downside is the inconsiderate guests who let the heavy room doors slam at night and the guests who randomly press both the up and down elevator buttons which causes the elevators to be very slow.
Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful resort and beautiful country!

Stayed here for 9 days and rented two rooms on the 6th floor, a family suite and a room facing the ocean. I knew from researching that the resort was small, which is ok with me. I was able to keep tabs on my kids while enjoying the pool. My biggest disappointment were the rooms. The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade. You can hear the conversation next door (I head the other person snoring all night) and there is a 2" gap under the main door that let's in all the noise from the hallway. The rooms handles were falling apart and I could not believe this place was 4 stars, 3 at best. The food at all the restaurants were decent but the Asian/Sushi place was gross (think gas station grade sushi). The service all around was wonderful, the people working there are professional and I only had one issue. The omelet lady asked me a question while making my omelet but I was so tired from not sleeping (all the noise) that I did not respond right away. I apologized and told her I was tired, she told me that she was tired too but still had to smile (wtf does that mean). Other than her, everyone else was pleasant to talk to and we got great service (poolside can be dicey). Also the credit system has so many rules and restrictions that once you pay the tax, it's pretty much like your paying for it out right. The front desk people seemed to be snooty, I remember asking them to break a $50. The young lady said she did not have change, then I said "Well I guess I'm done tipping", like magic she was able to break the $50. The location of the beach is great but there is construction of both sides of the resort. which was not disclosed to us. If you want the "wow" moment when walking into a resort or in your room then this is not the place for you to stay. Look elsewhere because I will be.....also they enforce their dress codes at the restaurants but they did not at the Chef's dinner, we were the only idiots dressed up. Oh I forgot to mention, I thought people were exaggerating about the elevators.....they are tiny, hot and break down a lot! We had to take the stairs up 6 flights numerous times because there was one that was always broken. Your going to ask yourself "how the hell is this place 4 stars?"...Don't say I didn't warn ya!!

Our family of 4, with my two sons 23 and 17 spent 4 nights during the fourth of July weekend at Beach Palace, Overall we had a great stay, I'd give BP a solid 4.5 stars, we got there mid morning and got checked inn and went for breakfast and changed, room was ready later just after 3PM. Hotel is built on a small foot print, lobby or first floor was extremely crowded when we got there and had a first wrong impression

We headed to the pool area and that particular day was the one with most visitors, it seemed that was over 100% capacity, there were no place to seat due it was almost noon time and went to the beach area, two of the personnel approached to us and set a couple of lounges with an umbrella, us are more pool people and following days had to play the game of separating seats around the pool area but you have to go between 7-8AM. there were a few lounges that hotel reserved for diamond members around plus the cabanas section at the beach for them, this is only thing we always hope that isn't happening but due to the size of the hotel there isn't enough space to accommodate all the guests. At the end is not a big deal and nowadays is expected that will happen.

Our room was a two beds ocean front at the 10th floor, we asked for a rollover bed and was supplied no extra cost, room size is adequate, it has huge jacuzzi that we didn't mind due isn't for us, also there is a balcony with a full size lounge and a table with two chairs, we spent the afternoons at the balcony looking and listening to the beautiful Caribbean sea while we relaxed after the day with a drink, perfect way to end the day.

Food is really good, Breakfast buffet was always great and fresh, liked that the main dishes aren't made in a huge amounts (bulk) and they are frequently changing the pans and bringing fresh new dishes, we didn't try the lunch buffet due always ordered food to be brought to us or there was a great pastor and steak tacos cooked at the pool area. For Dinner we tried the Steakhouse/smokehouse, the Asian (twice) and the Italian, Our sons did try the Mexican/Tequila restaurant and said that was also good but for my wife and I the Asian was our favorite.

The personnel was always great and friendly, Zacarias did prepare our drinks always perfect at pool bar, also the bartender at the stadium sports bar when we went to play ping pong, we spent lots of singles to tip them because of their hard work,
Overall this is a hotel that will come back or at least will try another palace hotel now that my youngest will be an adult (18+). Thanks again to BP four a pleasant stay
