The Coral Sands is a small (12 units) well located -walking distance to town, Kirks groceries store right across the street and at least 4 or 5 5 star restaurants within walking distance. 5 mile beach is within walking distance, as is Camana Bay, the new large entertainment center. The staff is always available, friendly, and helpful. Thought the beach is only fair you can walk right and do some excellent snorkeling. This is a great place to spend your vacation.

Fantastic stay! We arrived at the resort and check in was so easy. We were in Unit 1 which was an end unit overlooking the ocean. One of the best units. The unit was beautiful and clean. It’s a 2-story unit with the 2 bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen, living room and dining room on the first floor. Walk out the door and a small but nice pool right outside the room. The beach is cute, but not for swimming. The seven mile beach is down the road with lots of beach access. We happen to find Cemetary beach which was absolutely stunning and very quiet. The resort even gave us beach chairs to use for the week, you just have to ask. Andre is absolutely fantastic! Ask him anything and he will help. It’s a very quiet resort. Grocery store is just across the street. We did a deep sea fishing trip with Jah Bless Charters and caught Wahoo, Tuna, and a Barracuda and was great! Highly recommend this resort!

My husband and I spent a fabulous week celebrating our anniversary at the beautiful Coral Sands Resort. We stayed in Unit 1, which was a two level, one bedroom with bright, lovely furnishings. The Coral Sands manager, Harry Lynch, was absolutely great with his suggestions of places to eat, where to snorkel, and very attentive to any needs we had. The Coral Sands is centrally located with Kirks grocery right across from it, where we found any food item we wanted. My husband and I agreed that the Coral Sands Resort was one of the best timeshares we stayed at and highly recommend it.

Nice place with great views. It is a nice small community. Nice to talk to other guests to get ideas of where to go and where to dine. The unit was clean and well stocked with tissues, paper towels, toilet paper and dish soap. We loved being able to eat out under the covered area. Our only recommendation would be trays to take food outside. Construction next door was noisy but did not ruin our trip.

We have wanted to stay here for years as it's the only RCI resort on the western side of the island. As others mentioned, it's not exactly Georgetown or Seven Mile Beach, but the grocery store is across the street and it's easy to get around. The beach itself is small but offers privacy since it's a little cove. The water is pretty shallow, so not great for swimming, but amazing for snorkeling off the floating dock. I saw tarpon, sea urchins, a variety of fish, and even a turtle. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and extremely clean. Of note, there is a bathroom downstairs but both bedrooms upstairs in the two units we rented. Don't forget that utilities are separate charges. The ocean view from the room was nice, but really all you have to do is just go outside to the lovely covered patio or any lounge chair. The resort has a family feel to it.

By far the best part of the resort is the manager, Harry. He treats everyone there like his family, was always helpful, and had great suggestions for restaurants and activities.

Our experience at Coral Sands was not good. It is a TERRIBLE location, not on Seven Mile Beach. When Seven Mile Beach is part of the description, as above, it is very misleading. We were most definitely NOT on Seven Mile Beach.
The resort itself is on a tiny, secluded bay. You are advised not to swim, and you cannot walk anywhere on the beach because the beach begins and ends at Coral Sands.
The garbage dump being on fire was certainly not the fault of the resort, but it sure didn't help.
Lovely island, great restaurants, friendly people and a beautiful beach, we just weren't on it.

This is NOT a resort. It is a tiny building with maybe 6 to 7 rooms and no beach outside! There is no place to gather and socialize, no entertainment. They charge you for EVERYTHING - use of the air-conditioner, washer/dryer, water, gas and electricity! You have to go to another resort to enjoy the beach. They don't tell you that up front. I do not recommend this place at all.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coral Sands in Grand Cayman. The room was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This trip was for our 25th wedding anniversary,. We got married in grand came in 25 years ago, and have not been back until this trip. On the actual day of our anniversary, Harry and his staff had a very nice anniversary gift basket set up in our room when we returned. That was a very nice and unexpected surprise. The beach at the resort is a little on the small side, but was well-maintained. There’s also a nice deck set up right off that beach with some great lounge, chairs to catch some sun on. The snorkeling right off the beach area is also very nice about 30 yards out. While snorkeling, you could see some very large tarpon there and nice schools of squid. Another guest saw stingrays and an Eagle Raey while snorkeling there. Georgetown was only a small five minute walk from the hotel. Also, there is a grocery store right across the street and a liquor store right next to that. This was all very convenient. we will definitely stay there again when we go back.

An excellent resort that is not only clean and well run, but has an ideal location near 7 mile beach. A very relaxing atmosphere in a small resort like this is what I prefer when I go on vacation. The staff is very friendly and will help make your stay as perfect as possible. Without a doubt, I would recommend Coral Sands Resort.

All condos at Coral Sands Resort Grand Cayman are two bedrooms. We do not have three bedrooms condos. There is queen in the master and two twin beds in the secondary bedroom.

Yes, the reef is within swimming distance. There is a floating dock that gets you half way there. You can stay closer to shore or venture out to see beautiful marine life. Enjoy!
