The Renaissance is a luxury condominium, located on the quiet end of world famous Seven Mile Beach. All villas are spacious, oceanfront and beautifully furnished.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We could not have been more pleased with every aspect of our family vacation at the Renaissance. The Renaissance is a beautiful, modern, and well-maintained building on a beautiful stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Our condo was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. In the mornings my wife and I would open the sliding glass doors to the patio so that we could listen to the waves gently breaking on the beach. The pool and beach chairs make for a great beach day. Our daughters spent most of the days snorkeling the reef just offshore. Someone has actually constructed a small circular artificial reef right in front of the building.
Georgette and Wendy are great hosts and helped us with all of our needs. Our original flight to GCM was cancelled due to a pilot shortage (surprise surprise) but they worked with us to make sure everything worked out smoothly. If you are looking for a beautiful condo away from the busy Marriott and Ritz areas, the Renaissance is a great choice. This was our second visit to the Renaissance but it definitely won't be our last.

We've been traveling to Grand Cayman for about 25 years and have chosen The Renaissance 5 or 6 times. The condos are well stocked and nicely decorated. The location is very convenient to groceries and restaurants and the beach and pool are never busy. Many times we were the only ones on the beach. Georgette in the office is a great resource and always very helpful. Water entry is sandy and beach towels and chairs are plentiful. The Renaissance is very accessible to 3 great snorkeling spots-Cemetery Beach, Governors Beach and the shoreline and wall at Cracked Conch. There is a place to store paddle boards along with security to keep an eye on everything, even though we feel like Grand Cayman is a very safe place. We enjoyed the trip and location immensely!

My husband and I used to visit Grand Cayman through most of the 90’s. We switched to Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos because we wanted a quieter vacation experience. After going to Provo every year (sometimes 2x), we decided to go back to Grand Cayman because it was a place we first fell in love with. We knew we were going at high season, and we were fearful that it would be a lot more crowded 20 years later, so I did a lot of research on “where should we stay”. We originally had booked Club Level at the Ritz, but then changed our minds because we prefer the condo experience. I booked the Renaissance, and we were thrilled. Not only was it peaceful (we had the beach to ourselves a couple of mornings as well as the pool, the condo (#32) was perfect. The view is fabulous, and we loved the screened in porch so that we could hang out there late into the night without bugs). The photos do not do the room justice, We had everything we needed in the kitchen, including spices! The appliances were relatively new, and the wine cooler was a bonus. We will definitely return. As a comparison, we always stay at Point Grace on Provo in a Deluxe Ocean Front Condo....but the Renaissance gives that room a run for its money. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

We have been traveling to Grand Cayman almost every year for the past 30+ years. We chose to stay at The Renaissance this year as the location was central on 7 Mile beach to offer us the opportunity to have an unmatched beach to walk every day, as we enjoy doing. The Renaissance proved to be one of the best we have ever selected to stay. Also, the friendliness of the residents of The Renaissance offered us a very welcome feeling. Truly, you cannot go wrong in this location.

Villa 1 fit all of our needs for our vacation. To start, the location on Seven Mile beach is perfect. The building is located in a less crowded part of the beach but close to many incredible restaurants. The Villa is beautiful decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable and the views are priceless. The sunsets are breathtaking as they set right in front of the pool and beach. There is reserved parking under the building which is near the elevator. Staying in this unit allows you to walk straight out of the screened in porch to the pool and beach. It is an end unit which makes it very quiet and private. We felt like we were in paradise!

I had the pleasure of vacationing at the Renaissance in Unit #1. The spacious 3 bedroom unit is stunning and beautifully decorated in modern neutrals. We appreciated the attention to detail finding everything we needed to make our stay great. One of the highlights of staying in Unit #1 is the convenient access to the gorgeous pool area and Seven Mile beach. We had a week of high temperatures and absolutely loved the convenience of stepping outside the ground level unit and enjoying the pool anytime of day. The property is well cared and well managed ensuring guests safety and comfort. Thanks for a wonderful week in paradise!

We traveled again to the Renaissance this past week, and experienced the same warm welcome from the owners and Condominium office. Wendy and Georgette are happy to make top notch vetted recommendations on dining, shopping, water sports and adventures. We have stayed at the big luxury hotels over the years but find between grocery delivery and the availability of nearby "foodie-worthy" dining options that we prefer to go to the Renaissance, dine in or eat out, and enjoy the infinity pool and hot tub without the noisy and crowded beach of the big hotels. There are 200 feet of beach in the best area of the 7 mile beach to enjoy between 37 units. Heavenly.

if your idea of a great vacation is a pristine, private beach beside an 85’ pool with an infinity edge and hot tub look no further. Many places resorts on 7 mile beach have those benefits but they don’t have a management team that the Renaissance does. These prop are on their game! If you have any issue in your condo they address it, usually the same day. The other great benefit to Thr Renaissance is third position on 7 mile beach. They are away from the cruise traffic but very accessible to grocery store and restaurants. We have stayed at other places on 7 mile beach but we keep coming back to Thr Renaissance because of the amenities, staff, and their remarkable beach and view.

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Renaissance. Would certainly recommend to those looking for a secluded location away from the large resorts. Great beach access and amenities. Staff was very helpful and onsite security was added piece of mind.
