The Radisson Blu Aruba garners praise for its cleanliness and well-maintained surroundings, despite occasional housekeeping hiccups. Its ample amenities, including multiple pools and convenient beach access, are popular among guests, as are the spacious rooms. The hotel's location is a highlight, with easy access to local shops and dining. While the atmosphere is described as peaceful, some feel the communal areas lack energy. Opinions on value diverge, with some guests feeling the dining options are overpriced. Service is generally applauded, though there are occasional reports of delays.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our first trip to Aruba and we definitely will be going back again for sure. The Radisson Blu is nicely located to all the restaurants (Fishers and More, Giannis def worth going and Papiamentos which is like $10 cab ride a must!) and shops right on the hotel strip. The resort is beautiful and super clean and has all the amenities you can ask for. We booked the two bedroom suite (one king bed and two twin beds) with two full bath! Our room was super big and the king size bed was very comfy. Room was very clean except for the sofa which seems a little old or may need a little cleaning. The adults only infinity pool is definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. The beach is like a 5 minute walk but they do have a free shuttle that takes you there and picks you up on the hour. The staffs were all fantastic and friendly, especially Annalisa and Zariya (they were our favorites, super nice, polite and always so helpful). Resort wasn't crowded at all, maybe it was after New Years and everyone went back to work/school? The pools and hot tub were nice and there are plenty of chairs. Although the week we went was quiet and not a lot of visitors but for some reason the pool towels weren't enough and you have to come back for which was a little annoying (time for management to buy some more pool towels).

I just got back from spending 4 nights visiting Aruba for the first time. We booked through an online company that had a special deal, including free breakfast. The amenities listed on their site are NOT accurate so be aware. The good: Beautiful new rooms and great for two couples or a family. As others have stated, the second bedroom with two singles has only a rectangle window at the top which is super small and leads to the hallway so it is dark. However, there are two bathrooms which is great! The front desk staff is very hit or miss on being helpful...some were and some weren't. The staff around the property were fantastic, especially Frank at the bistro who made us laugh and helped us get to know more about Aruba and its culture. There is an amazing restaurant, Ana Maria's just behind the hotel in a housing development that we walked to if you don't mind a short dirt path. You can also take a cab. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants as well as bars. The pools are well maintained and I loved the Jacuzzi which was very large and in-ground (open 9-9). The "free" breakfast had many choices and was great! Our room service was great and the bedding is the best I have seen!! The bed was so comfortable with two large, fluffy pillows. The not so good: some of the front desk staff were not very helpful at times; I called for toilet paper and none was delivered, someone could not tell me how how far/long it would be to access the road behind the hotel by walking. The hot water was turned off on the bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks and the shower was just hot enough turned all the way up on hot but not the temperature I would prefer. The showers do not drain properly so you stand in water when the water is shut off because the drain is higher than where the water lies. The kitchen appliances DO NOT WORK and are being removed even though they still advertise otherwise. You have a nice refrigerator, freezer and coffee/tea maker but no microwave which I do not understand at all. The second bedroom is very dark and not nearly as nice as the main bedroom which comes with two nice bathrobes to use. There are no complimentary beach chairs as was described prior to booking. You have to rent them at the beach so that is an additional cost. The Jacuzzi is fantastic as mentioned about but closes at 9:00pm which is much too early when you want to relax after a long day at the beach or walking and yes, the security guard will come by and ask you to leave even if you are adults not making any noise. The main restaurant was closed but that was okay with us as there are many awesome places to eat close by the hotel. All in all, it was a great place to stay, very clean and definitely in the best location I think. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes which was not an issue with us at all. I would recommend but just be aware of the amenities listed that are actually not in use or included.

The hotel is located at the north end of the High Rise strip. It not directly on the beach - about a 7 minute walk and there is a shuttle which takes about 2 minutes. There is a small area next to the MooMba Bar and Restaurant reserved for Radisson Blu guests. Free beach chairs are available, but sometimes they run out. Umbrellas can be rented at the MooMba for $15. The hotel is low key. The grounds, although not spectacular are very clean and nicely landscaped with several pools. The infinity pool above the lobby is spectacular with a view of the ocean. The rooms are sparcely furnished, but nice, new and clean. BUT, they are not rooms, they are suites. We had a 2 bedroom with 2 full bathrooms, living room, kitchen and eating area. The kitchen area had a large refrigerator and freezer, countertop, cabinets, coffee maker, bottle opener, and microwave; that's it - no plates, pots and pans, untensils, etc. The hotel is a block off the strip, with a wide variety of places to eat, along with night life, and other entertainment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating When Santos was working the beach, which was full, he was able to find us two beach chairs that had just been vacated. he also works the shuttle and lobby area. He is an extremely nice guy always asking how he can help. For us, the size of the suite, cleanliness, staff and location, easily outweighed any negatives. We would definitey stay there again.

Be aware, the rooms have been redone recently …. they used to have full kitchens. No more, they removed the cooktops, microwaves, toaster and all cutlery and flatware. You will have 3 paper cups and some wooden stir sticks, so be prepared. You can request a microwave, but very limited availability. They did leave the refrigerators and they are a nice size. Just empty cabinets and a coffee pot that, for us, didn’t work.

The largest suites must still have the kitchen amenities, as I heard somebody complaining that they stayed there last year and expected the full kitchen. They weren’t aware they stripped it…..staff told them they could upgrade for $1200 to a room with a full kitchen. I’m sure it’s clear on the Website, but if you were a returning guest you would never think such a renovation (unrenovation?) would occur. Very strange decision.

Felt sorry for the staff, at one point there was a crowd in the lobby asking for kitchen supplies that weren’t available.

The infinity pool is beautiful and adult only, very nice. The beach experience is not great. They have chairs for you, but on top of one another. Umbrellas are not included, but can be rented from Moomba for $15. There’s no great way to use them, because as the sun moves and you can’t adjust your chair because you are touching your neighbor.

It’s a short walk from hotel to beach. The shuttle doesn’t run as often as they claim (10-15 mins). We waited 5, then asked when it was going and we’re told @20 mins, so we walked, very easy.

Met a few very happy people that got travel deals… $900 for 4 nights. Totally worth that!

Dear Guest Deana, We appreciate your time in writing us a review and we thank you for choosing Radisson Blu Aruba as your vacation destination. On behalf of our entire staff at Radisson Blu Aruba we apologize for the overall experience which did not meet or exceed your expectation during your recent stay at this hotel. At Radisson Blu Aruba, we value all of our customers and look to provide exceptional service each and every time. I would like to take a moment and apologize for the kitchen appliances being put out of out of order. Originally the project for the building was a condominium project for long-term living with fully equipped kitchens, however with new ownership this project was transformed to be a full-service resort. Therefore, our full kitchens are now being phased out and converted to a full-sized fridge, and coffee station. I understand that these changes were disruptive to your vacation. I have shared your comments with my management team and we will be looking into the mentioned issues with the concerning departments. We thank you for being a valued customer and appreciate the feedback which is very important for us to improve our services, we hope you would give us another chance to earn your trust again and to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the near future.

First off, I would like to say that the hotel grounds, pools, and rooms are very nice. The hotel was originally built to be a condo but was converted to a hotel, so the rooms are spacious. It is truly wonderful to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms when traveling with a family. The staff are very friendly and helpful and want to do the best job possible; however, they are limited by the resources that are provided to them. The few times we ate at the hotel the food was good, especially the half chicken during the Sunday BBQ.

We initially had a housekeeping issue (note one must ask for housekeeping when desired), but the front desk resolved the matter quickly and it wasn’t an issue for the rest of our stay. Our primary issue was that the kitchen that was pictured (on several different websites) which was one of the primary reasons we booked the Radisson Blu turned out to be misleading as the stove, oven/microwave were all disabled. This was a big surprise as we packed breakfast items and other food that we couldn’t utilize which was a major disappointment. I heard others complaining about this issue as well.

Lastly, when booking this hotel I knew they weren’t on the beach but provide a shuttle to the beach (which we never used since it was such a short walk). However, I figured they would at least have a designated section on the beach with chairs available…unfortunately this was not the case so be prepared to rent chairs & palapa’s which can add up over a stay. The positive side of this was we ended up visiting several different beaches during our stay which made things more interesting.

I stayed for a week at Radisson Blu and this might have been my favorite hotel stay all my life. The place was so quiet, relaxing, beautiful.
I would walk around and see butterflies flying by... not even exaggerating it felt so peaceful.

The room was very minimal and modern which made me feel very relaxed. The pools were amazing I often went in the pool at 4 and only got out at closing time.

The people were really nice and friendly. By the end of our stay they already knew us.

The location is great its in walking distance of many restaurants and a mall area.

Would definitely stay there again. If I can complain about anything its that the food at the restaurant and the drinks were very overpriced.

Seriously, if you're complaining about this place, you should stay home. It is wonderful. Very new. We were told it's just a year old in May 2022. Our suite was spacious and very clean and so modern. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast every morning was delicious and served with fruit and baked goods for each person. Santos was our go-to. He was helpful with everything (ordering uber, shuttle to beach which was about a 2 minute ride.) You can walk about 2 blocks to the beach. The hotel is so wonderful that we didn't even mind not being on the beach. You can see the ocean from the hotel. The one pool on the main level is big and didn't feel crowded even when many people were in it. Yes, the rooftop pool is closed but if you confirm this before your stay, hopefully it lessens the disappointment. I can't say enough good things about this place. Most important for me is to not feel icky in a hotel and to feel like things are clean and here it appeared as though things were actually cleaned.

Clean, Modern hotels with some small caveats.

Positives:
The hotel is brand new. For the prime tourist area of Aruba it is an excellent value for the size of the rooms. Multiple pools, bar and restaurant on premises and great location close to the beach. The standard room is a two bedroom / two bathroom suite. Traveling with a group as two couples was made easy as each bedroom had their designated bathroom and space. Living area was large but could use a bit more furniture.

Some things to note:
Appliances do not work. Room comes with a coffee pod machine and refrigerator. No utensils or microwave. While I did not need an oven, a microwave and some utensils would have been beneficial as we had a fridge and occasional leftovers. There is also NO designated beach area or chairs on the beach for hotel guests. This was not a problem for me but I did her grumbles from other guests which I can understand as one often comes to aruba for the beach. The pool area however was beautiful and had plenty of seating for lounging. Also the hotel had a great 2 for 1 happy hour.

All in all a great stay due to the modern amenities, good service and great location. I have booked a return stay already and look forward to it.

I recently traveled to Aruba with my sister for a seven days girls trip. The Radisson Blu was modern, clean, and the location was convenient! Our room was spacious with a spectacular view of the ocean. The balcony was vast and provided a nice sanctuary to read or just look at the sunset. There was an electric car that provided transportation to the popular Moomba beach. We used it occasionally, but I must say that the walk was not too far. The two gentlemen that took turns driving the car were extremely nice and helpful! There is a section of the beach designated for Radisson guests. Palm Beach was just breathtaking! Guests can grab their towels next to the pool before heading to the beach. The people at the towel location were extremely nice and would often exchange pleasantries. This property has the best location especially for restaurants and entertainment. We would often stop at Che a great restaurant for that selves delicious pancakes! I absolutely loved it here. It wasn’t as massive as some of the properties on Palm beach, but you can beat the price and the location!

Here are the reasons why I did not give this property 5 stars:
1. The pools were freezing! The hot tub was often crowded because of this reason.
2. There should be an outdoor food location at the main pool area
3. Some of the staff members at the front desk need to work on their customer service. Often I would walk in the lobby without someone saying hello or are you enjoying your stay. I would see the same experience for other guests.

Overall, it was still a great stay. This hotel is only two years old and I see a lot of potential with this location. We would absolutely come back again!

We stayed at this hotel over the Christmas break i am truly not sure how I feel about this property yet. I originally booked this hotel because of the two bedroom/two bath option (which is the standard room) and because of a full kitchen (due to food allergies we needed a kitchen). All pictures and videos of this hotel shows a full working kitchen.

Right before our trip I was informed by another guest that the appliances are no longer working. I reached out to the hotel three times about this, never heard back. I stayed at other accommodations first in Aruba prior to this stay, and even tried calling and couldn’t get in touch with anyone. At that point it was too late to fully cancel my Radisson Blu stay and find another hotel.

The only appliance that works in the fridge. The stove and microwave are physically there, but the plugs have been pulled, in all rooms. After reading the trip advisor reviews it seems as though many people have pointed this out and the hotel has responded, but has done NOTHING to notify guests of this change. When the hotel originally opened this summer, the appliances were fully functional. Since this has been a big surprise to guests, there should be a big notice on the booking site informing guests of this. No where on the Radisson Blu Aruba site is this stated. This is extremely deceiving. Unfortunately this put a bad taste in my mouth that the hotel knows about guests concerns and has done nothing to address it prior to a guest checking in. I’ve also emailed the hotel directly about this concern after my stay and have yet to hear back, again - so four emails later and still nothing from the hotel.

Aside from the lack of appliances, the hotel rooms are quite large. The pool area is also very nice with a very large hot tub. The one thing I really enjoyed about this hotel is that there’s no fighting for chairs at the pool. We were there during school break and at any point of the day you can have a pool chair. This is not the case at other hotels, so it was quite refreshing. The pool area is also quiet with not many people there. Additionally, there’s a second pool on the third floor. If you are looking for a hotel with a more quiet pool area, then this is perfect. Just keep in mind there’s no daily activities for the kids (which is perfectly fine), but if you are looking for a more active hotel with activities, they don’t have anything.

The hotel is just a short 4-5 minute walk from the beach, just as it is advertised online. We didn’t find it to be a problem, even with two kids, but there is a golf cart shuttle that seems to be readily available to drive you over.

Ultimately, if you are looking for a more quiet hotel with a two bedroom (1 king bed plus two twin beds) then this is a great option, as long as you are aware that the appliances are not in working order (and are being permanently removed). But if you are looking for a more active hotel right on the beach, this hotel won’t give you that. Compared to other hotels in Aruba, it’s a great price, especially for a two bedroom.

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for your review. I would like to take a moment and apologize for the experience you had during your recent stay with us at Radisson Blu Aruba. While I am happy to know that you enjoyed our pool areas as well as the hotel facilities, I am disappointed to learn of the inconveniences you experienced during your time here. Originally the project for the building was a condominium project for long-term living with fully equipped kitchens, however with new ownership this project was transformed to be a full-service resort. Therefore, our full kitchens are now being phased out with a full-sized fridge, and coffee station. I understand that these changes were disruptive to your vacation, and I do sincerely apologize. I will be getting in contact with you, so we can further discuss this. Have a great 2022! Team Blu
